He had books for us to check out all our different options for shutters and railings, and said for bigger jobs, you can go to the showroom to check out materials. I personally loved the convenience of sitting on my front porch and picking everything out! He was patient and let us flip through the books and never once made us feel like he was in a rush. We put a deposit down on the spot. Our ability to do the project was dependent on another contractor doing stone work on our porch first. Fiderio was great about scheduling around them and getting the work done quickly once the stone work project was complete. They did their work fast and cleaned up without a trace. The prices are fair (let's be honest, home improvement projects are never cheap!) and the service and quality of workmanship is fantastic! I haven't even received my invoice for final payment, and I'm already eyeing my back deck for replacement....when I'm ready, I will definitely call Fiderio!

But since Andy was at the house I asked him about repairing a shower faucet valve that had leaked inside the wall. Andy looked over what he would need to do the job and then sat down and wrote out a complete list of job estimates depending on how far I wanted him to complete the job. After deciding on the option that would not only do the shower valve but also replaced the section of the drain pipe that had the shut off valve in it. I scheduled a date to have the work done and not only was I sent an e mail to alert me they were on their way but also a picture of Andy that would be coming to my house. He showed right on time and got straight to work. The entire job was completed in just a few hours and looks fabulous. Once I get the walls closed back in he says he will come back and finish the covers that go over the shower valve and spout. Disappointing Experience: Overpriced…read more I recently hired JMB to install a faucet and a garbage disposal in my condo. The recommendation came from the contractor who handled my countertop and backsplash installation, so I trusted their judgment. Unfortunately, my experience with JMB left much to be desired. The installation itself was carried out by an apprentice and another worker, who spent around 45 minutes completing the job. Everything seemed to be in working order, so I didn't anticipate any issues until I received the bill. To my shock, I was charged a whopping $1229 for what should have been a routine installation. When I reached out to JMB to address my concerns, I was met with a series of dismissive responses: Missing Quote: They claimed to have sent me a quote, which I never received. Lack of Communication: They deflected responsibility onto the contractor who recommended them, despite my assumption that pricing would be fair and reasonable. Unjustifiable Pricing: Their insistence on charging a flat rate without considering labor costs left me feeling taken advantage of, especially when other plumbers confirmed that the job should have cost significantly less. Unresponsive Owner: In my business, I would be speaking to the customer about a situation like this - never heard a word In an attempt to rectify the situation, JMB offered me a mere $100 credit toward future services, which did little to address my dissatisfaction. Ultimately, my trust in JMB was misplaced, and I regret not seeking multiple quotes before proceeding with the installation. I've since learned that this company bids on services through our town municipality, and I'll be sharing my experience with the superintendent of facilities for further review. In conclusion, while I can't dictate others' choices, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with JMB as a cautionary tale.
