They have the cheapest prices around, maybe even in the tri cities.i know many a person who travel here monthly and buy all their meat..and this is not just one person this is quite a few.my favorite things from there are the chicken nuggets (which are in the cooler, not behind the meat counter )and the Italian turkey breasts cut medium.my favorite lunch meat in the world! Valley food center is a place I never would want to buy meat from. The place is decorated with dead animals and the place reaks of blood and flesh. I did purchase a faygo soda though. read more

Valley market has reopened. The market closed for a period but the original owner, Mr Valley took ownership AGAIN and reopened it. This location has been a regular shopping stop for local residents for decades. They serve up the best meats in the tri county area. The staff are helpful and fast at getting you what you need. Mr Valley sold the store and unfortunately it wasn't managed well and the new owner closed it. Mr Valley regained ownership and it's now, better than ever. Local residents have their neighborhood meat market back and couldn't be happier. I just shopped there and asked for a cut that isn't in stock. They gladly made some calls and I had it in 2 days. Very good customer service and excellent quality meats. Hats off to Mr Valley for his commitment to the community and serving them for several decades. Thank you. read more

great prices excellent quality meat. We bought hamburger the first time we went to valley food center after cooking one and a half pounds of it, there was only about a table spoon of oil in the pan. The burgers were almost the same size as before they were cooked. We were impressed with the quality. This store has been in business for over 80 years. That doesn't happen by accident. Whole foods it is not, but if you want good quality meat at very reasonable prices stop in. Ps if you consider deer mounts dead animals , go to a peta rally not a meat store. read more

The place did sell good meat yes the place is old but you have to understand it was in business for many many years look at the building folks it has alot of history years ago when you purchased meat it did not come prepackaged like they do now they butchered it in front of you the butchers back then had very strong arms and backs because they had to lift the hole animals and put it on the hook and back then butchers had pictures of animals on the wall to explain the cuts of meats and what also you saw on the walls in valleys was their proud trophy's of their family's hunting and local young hunting clubs that they help support the kids in and around that area did the hunting it was up to the child if they wanted to keep the trophy or have it hung their next time if and when they reopen check and see you might see one of your family relative name is their hmm read more

we used to go to valley meat every time we were in pinconning, but after this last trip we are reconsidering. when we questioned a price on koegel viennas, one of the butchers verified it was correct.(the price was marked $9.99 on all the boxes of that type) At the checkout, the cashier said it was incorrect, and because they don't use a checkout scanner, didn't have to abide by the scanner laws and give us the price marked on the koegels box. Then, being upset at the rudeness, we inadvertantly left a bag of meat there, $10 worth, and they never said a word or tried to stop us before we got to the truck. Its a real shame, and not very good business to treat your customers that way. read more
