Dr Gan is amazing. My husband and I both are being treated by him. Boy he knows his stuff. My husband had a growth on his foot and recommended not to do surgery unless it was hurting him. Once it started hurting we went back and he said it was time. We are so blessed that he is not one of those Dr quick to rush in chop his foot. 1000 Stars!!! PAIN FREE AND LOVED MY EXPERIENCE: (Let me preface first...I'm not a good writer so don't judge) My day started with a lot of nerves of the unknown. Will my In-Grown Toe nail removal be as painful or more painful than leaving it as is. I was only buying myself time with monthly pedicures. In-growns run in my family and both my parents back in the day lost toe nails. I was greeted with a beautiful kind smile by the lovely Dr. Kate Borromeo (who by the way...made me feel special by complementing my Halloween theme pedicure : ) I immediately felt relief and no longer fear as she took the time explaining everything fully to me. She didn't tell me what to do...she made sure to convey fully my options...she relieved my nervousness after going over exactly how the procedure would go down. Once she knew we were both on the same page and I elected for a partial removal she reassured again I would not be in pain. I was fearing the SHOT to numb my big toe. Dr. Borromeo explained as she used a freezing spray that would numb any pain I would feel from the injection that was to numb my toe. Who would of thought a numbing cooling spray to numb the shot that would numb your TOE!!!! GENIUS!!! It was pain free...as long as you don't mind cool sensation on your foot . Dr. Borromeo as she noticed I was looking away told me she would cover up my toe so I wouldn't see anything gory or bloody. So thoughtful I thought and again her taking the time to even notice my reaction and make still the experience better for ME . She brought me comfort/reassurance by talking thru the procedure after I had asked her why she specialized in doing Feet I asked. She told me about her childhood and numerous surgeries/problems having to undergo several procedures to also relieve pain and injuries from sports. Dr. Borromeo practices medicine from her heart with personal experience and I so appreciated it that day. I was so touched by her "bedside manner" I had to write a review to let everyone and anyone know with my same issue...don't suffer needless in pain!!! Go see Valley Foot and Ankle providers!!! Mr. Golshteyn save my life! Well, my ankle... which essentially made me feel back to life. I severe spiral fracture in my right ankle and he performed the surgery. I'm now 8 weeks post op and was given the "okay" to be full weight bearing, today! Overjoyed is an understatement. I have been a patient of Dr. Gan Golshteyn for the past three years and he has been nothing short of amazing for all my foot and ankle issues. It is truly refreshing to be taken care of by a doctor who is excellent at what he does. He is a very caring individual and explains everything in detail and always gives several options. You can tell he loves what he does and cares about you. I am still recovering from my foot surgery and he has been just fabulous every step of the way. I would also like to comment on his office staff who are the absolute sweetest bunch of gals I have ever met and very skilled medical assistant's as well. You can tell by the vibe it's a real happy go lucky office. They all genuinely like working with one another which is always great to see. Well, if you ever need foot or ankle care I would recommend beyond a shadow of a doubt Dr.Golshteyn.
