Ironically, I was congratulating myself for finally getting my key problem solved and not locking me out for a very long time, as I locked the door behind me with my key inside. That I was thinking about that should have been a cue to double check before I closed the door. Joseph responded to my message immediately and so I called him. Apparently I woke him up. He said he would come right away. He was here in less than 10 minutes and I am now safely inside. My mom locked herself out of her house today. I'm a stickler for a deal and to find the best resources in my community. I called 5 different companies and was quoted between $70 and $95 dollars for ONE lock- the bottom lock of her door. I called Valley and was connected to Joseph; he answered the phone- he sounded flustered and short, BUT PLEASE... don't let that deter you. Joseph is just efficient and quick on his feet. He asked: 1. Where am I going? (Address) 2. Who am I meeting? 3. What is the need? (Car door, front door, etc) He quoted 15 minutes and called me to tell me he was at my moms place in 10 minutes. A little background: my mom suffers from mental illness, is disabled, and gets hella ornery in emergency or high pressure situations. I explained this to Joseph, and he was sensitive to my requests. He even searched the property when he couldn't find my mom. After he left, my mom told me he only charged her $40; that's for the lockout and he made her 2 keys. He quoted me $50.
