Things that you would normally go online and wait days for, are now just a ten minute (depending on where you live) drive away. It's a substantially sized store (for the type of business that it is.) They carry Thai Basil, Korean red pepper paste, fish sauce, long stems of lemongrass and plum sauce to name a few!!! And their prices are reasonable. The owner is fantastic. I had called and left a message inquiring of a few items. He called me back moments later with an answer. And upon arriving at the store I had a couple recipe questions and he was very helpful in offering suggestions. C'mon out Dekalb and support this place! We need to keep it here.

Come here for it to go lunch or eat their little tables out front. The sandwiches they make are fantastic and then to go food whether it be fresh hot or cold sandwich or some food to take home your refrigerator. It's all great. You'll find anything better anywhere near here. Highly recommended.

Stir fry chicken mei fun was my favorite item from Bowl Bowl Rice. It came hot and was flavorful. I also had a tea leaf flavor egg. It was just $1. But it came with egg shell. I had to peel it. Egg was slightly less flavorful than I expected. Mochi donut is the main item in Glazed. There were some food items as well, but I didn't find takers for that. I went for 3 donuts - Oreo, honey dew and churro. The flavors were all interesting. May be oreo was my favorite. Donut texture was more chewy. From S&B Hmong Kitchen, I went for a fried rice from this place. It was flavorful. Cilantro and scallion on top gave a nice flavor kick. From Poké Mì, I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.

Fresh produce. You can find some great deals on their fresh meats too. The bakery is dangerous for carb resistors as they prepare some treats that are truly magic in here. I can never just walk by for I am too weak. In my humble and hungry opinion, KD's highlight are their prepared items. Those soups are the best! Wild mushroom, a few borscht variations, all delicious. They have full on prepared dinners too. I can't get enough of those blintzes...blintz twice if you're addicted. A young man working at the deli said he wouldn't serve my husband because of what he was wearing…read more My husband could not hear this person had to ask 3 times what he said. My husband was wearing his military veteran hat and sweatshirt.We asked to speak with a manager however one was not working but a cashier spoke with us and said he would speak with the person. This disrespect to anyone should not be tolerated no matter what they are wearing! Unfortunately this establishment is making decisions based on a persons dress or military status .
