The Valley Pool opening crew serviced my pool last week, and I would like to note that the gentlemen were very professional and did a great job overall. However, I was quite disappointed to find that, after paying approximately $325 for the pool opening, the weights were not attached to the pool ladder. As a result, the steps are currently floating, and I am left without assistance to correct the issue. Given the cost of the service, I expected this to be completed as part of the opening. I would appreciate having someone return to properly attach the weights to the ladder. At this point, I am very dissatisfied with the incomplete service and hope this can be resolved promptly. Otherwise, I will reconsider using your services in the future and would be hesitant to recommend Valley Pool to others. read more

Went to Charleroi location to buy some shock and ease cartridges for my tub. Shawn (who usually checks me out) was very helpful when I asked him the difference between caribbean spa chlorine free shock and the oxidizer by sirona (for biguanide hot tubs). Once he said the sirona one was for biguanide tubs not people with the frog ease i knew to stick with the caribbean spa Shock. I used to work there. Shawn is always a pleasure to speak with and always has a smile. Hes a good one! read more

This place has really gone downhill. I had to make three trips in one day to this store. The sad part is that I called ahead and talked to Jordan to make sure that they had what I needed. He ensured me that they did and that they were having a buy one get one 50% off. So I made the 30 minute drive there just to be told that their systems were down and that they couldn't sell me anything. I should mention while I was in the actual store I showed Jordan a picture of what I needed and he ensured me for the second time that he had what I needed in stock. Although disappointed about the system being down, I understood the situation was out of their hands. I decided to go back and give it another try since they had what I needed at such a good deal or so I was lead to believe. I left with 2 filters at 40% off although I was told it was 50% off (no big deal) and thought I was done for the day. Once I got home I quickly realized that he had sold me the wrong filters. So this was my third time having to drive back and forth to this store. This time I was frustrated and literally took my old wet filter with me to leave no room for more mistakes. I was told finally that they did not have the filter that I needed and that I should go on Amazon to make my purchase. I think it's time for me to find a new pool place! read more

Had a tear in our pool liner so we trusted valley pool to give us a new liner and install. We paid over a thousand dollars to have this completed. They hired some contractors to come over and do the install, well the contractors decided they wanted an additional $500 to complete the job, we thought that was somewhat suspicious and we called valley pool and they agreed and told us "It sounds like they are trying to scam you out of money" Valley pool is also telling us they have never heard of owing extra money after we already paid and agreed to a contract with Valley Pool. They said it didn't sound right and they were glad we called them because the whole thing was suspicious. They said they will probably cut the contract with these workers because of them acting this way. We are also told these are seasonal workers and they are probably just trying to get more money before the summer season ends. We speak with the contactor while they are at my home and advise them this doesn't seem right and valley pool agrees. We tried to tell the contractor that if there is more money owed somehow they can talk to valley pool and valley pool can bill us. The contractor calls us " a cheap fu*k" throws insults at us and storms off the job saying he will not finish. As stated before we paid over a thousand dollars to Valley pool and spa to have this job completed. The job was NOT completed however we paid for it in full to be done. A day later we are informed by Valley pool and spa the manager wants to "stay neutral" and not get involved between the customer(us) and the contractor they hired to come to our home. They are unwilling to help us finish the job that we already paid in full for. Their tune changed completly from one day to the next, the first day calling the contractor they hired scammers and now they dont want to get involved? We already paid to have this job done. The employee's on the phone said they were probably scamming us and they were going to cut the contract with them...none of that happened. They took over a grand of our money and are leaving the job unfinished. I would suggest to take your business elsewhere. The problem lies when there is an issue with someone THEY hire to come to YOUR home, and Valley pool decide to take your money and not help you. They would rather us have the aggressive worker come back which would be dangerous for us and our family. The contractor is aggressive and does not allow a civil conversation. These people were hired by Valley pool and spa....not us...we had nothing to do with these people. It's a shame Valley took our money and will not send anyone to complete the job that we already paid for. read more

Long line in the store. Only 2 store employees to help & long wait just to purchase a small hose & tube of lube. There should be a separate area for those getting water tests & people just wanting to purchase items. This one patron hogged up the one employee for at least 20 minutes asking questions then bought a couple things. Not good. read more

We actually didn't come here for anything pool related. They run a costume shop inside for Halloween season. It's a great store! They have a great selection of costumes, masks and accessories all at a great price. It's a week from Halloween and the whole store is 75% off! I got my daughter and dog a costume and my nephew a light saber and a mask for under $30! They have many associates throughout the store, all in costume. It's super fun! And they are all very helpful and friendly. Great establishment! read more

purcha a pool at the end of January. We paid in full up front. The major problem came from their contracted installer. their communication is only thru text and email. it is very hard to get a human on the line. we were scheduled and canceled several times some due to weather some not. they schedule at random and alert you by text. this last time I was scheduled for a Friday, we re arranged our schedule to be home then they change it to monday and inform us Sunday night. They show up, claim we don't have the right things for them, sit in my yard for 2 hours (ring cam) and then invoice me $100 Trip charge. i Asked valley pools for my install money back and they told me 1-2 weeks. now I can't hire a new installer till I have that money back. Very stressful and disappointing service. read more

When purchasing a pool that includes installation I expect the pool company to coordinate with the installer. Not this company. I had to fill out confusing paperwork online and wait for the contractor to get in touch. I am still waiting. My pool was paid for a month ago and I have received absolutely no information as to when it will be delivered or installed. Needless to say, I am very upset. read more

I got my hot tub at Valley pool and spa in Uniontown Pa. Please save your money, They sold me junk, They know they sold me junk. I asked for a refund, I actually spoke to the district manager, He said yes i'll give you a refund but i'm deducting $800.00. The panels on my hot tub was not ever mounted correctly, I reported it more than once, The repairman who came out told us the hot tub was NOT put together right. My pillows are falling off, It was leaking from day ONE! Now JULIE WIGHTMAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR VALLEY POOLS AND SPAS says I'm being charged $125.00 deductable, This hot tub is under warranty ( There's NO such thing as a warranty with VALLEY POOL AND SPAS, But they call it a warranty) Hopefully a CLASS ACTION SUIT WILL BE FILED AGAINST THEM AND THEY HAVE TO PAY ALL OF US THEY ARE RIPPING OFF! I hope the district manager, Julie and ALL sells persons ( that sold all the junk)are included in the CLASS ACTION SUIT! read more

We purchased a new pool package in early July 2018. After searching all over and talking to a lot of pool places, frankly getting discouraged about cost and customer service, we stumbled onto a sale ad for Valley. I e-mailed, and from that moment on our experience was nothing but perfect. We dealt with Hope, and she was outstanding, answering all of our questions and guiding us through the process. Our pool was installed on July 18, and we took our first water sample in on July 21, we were set up with every single thing we would need to get our pool chemical levels where they needed to be. I am really disappointed in my entire experience with Valley thus far. John is the gentleman that sold the pool to my husband and I. He seemed incredibly preoccupied and almost as though our presence was a nuisance or bother. We were given a very clear timeframe of 6-8 weeks for the install. That timeframe almost deterred us from purchasing the pool but should've had half the summer left. The "we are really busy" remark has been made numerous times, however, the number of pools being installed should realistically be factored into the timeframe given during purchase. Following the purchase we were directed to the installers site to sign waivers. The site states that we would hear from them within 3-5 business days. About 2-1/2 weeks later we received the install date of 7/29 pushing it all the way to the 8 week mark. A few weeks later we got a message pushing our date to 8/10. Then a few days later pushing the date to 8/11. This is unacceptable. I called for explanation to which Lesli says she will call back. A week passed and I had to call her. She behaved as though she had no recollection of our conversation and she may actually not but is this how you conduct business? read more
