I came to update about my son's experience here…read more The experience we have (& continue to have because he'll be here until he goes to "big boy school") is exemplary. The kids enjoy sensory play regularly & a lot of art is incorporated into their days. My son knows his days of the week & is identifying more letters & numbers as his time here progresses. Ms. Christy runs her business so well. I'd give her ten stars if I could. She is very timely with anything administrative & also is so engaging with the students. I watched her help a new student acclimate by playing trains with them the other day & it made me really happy to see that she cares so much. All of the teachers we've had, Ms. Yessenia, Ms. Marina & Ms. Michelle have been exemplary. I truly appreciate the effort they make & the work they do to both educate and nurture. I've witnessed Ms. Michelle help a child who spilled in such an affirming & positive way; on a day my son was having a tough time with drop off she comforted & helped him which made both of us feel a little better. Ms. Marina is wonderfully receptive & I appreciate her going out of her way to connect with me & to reassure me. My son really loves both of them & Ms. Christy so much. Every morning when we arrive he excitedly calls out their names & is so happy to see them! I'm beyond grateful we found this school. It truly has been the perfect fit & I'm so thankful for the way it's ran & the staff that makes the kid's days so joyful & fun. My son was able to have a mini birthday with his classmates & he was talking about it for days after. I'm really glad for the community that's created at star kids.

You have to walk through the front door to access the care center. Education was our second concern. Every child in day care is taught to prepare for kindergarten. It seems like our child moving from kindergarten is ready for 2nd grade. Communication and kindness. Ahren's staff are very communication heavy. They made going through Covid easy and painless. They call and email information as well as group and one on one face to face. Ahren's is not your typical day care or education institution, it's a family, you feel like family. Regardless, these presentations were wonderful for building confidence and public-speaking skills at an early age. The homework reinforced what the children learned in class, and the at-home projects helped them feel proud and capable just like the "big kids." The after-school programs are excellent. My daughter did imagination station, sprout and blossom, violin lessons, and homework club. It provides strong academic structure while also teaching manners, confidence, and responsibility. The staff is wonderful and truly knows every child. The only downside I experienced was when I requested a transcript for my child while applying to a new schools. I was told that transcripts were not available for those grades. I had asked if they could write a letter indicating they don't have transcripts or to create in for me but neither was done. After that, communication seemed to drop off, and it felt as though we were no longer a priority once we had left the school. Overall, I would still recommend VPS without hesitation. The tuition is also very reasonable for an IB and private school. I truly wish we could return to VPS or find another school just like it.

The classrooms were always tidy, and the teachers taught the children to take responsibility for cleaning up after themselves, practice good table manners, care for their environment, and respect their classmates and teachers. I could tell that just as we were interviewing her, she was also evaluating and observing our child and us as parents. Each classroom has an accredited teacher and an aide (or TA) so we knew that the classrooms had a small student to teacher ratio, great when you have high expectations that the school will be teaching as opposed to just providing playtime for your child. Our teacher and aide knew our child very well, and could explain our child's academic progress and personal growth whenever we dropped by with concerns or just plain curiosity. As previously mentioned, the facilities are well kept and the classroom sizes are small. They respect child allergies and encourage parent participation. I never felt like FLCC was pushing their religious beliefs on the children, but was appreciative of the fact that they invited or included us in their many weekend and after school activities. If you are looking for a Children's Center that will give your child an academic edge, especially if your path is private education, then this is the place for you in Redlands. Their tuition prices are comparable to other centers in the area, but what makes FLCC stand out is the staff's warm, caring and attentive desire to see each child succeed.

They made up a story that it was due to Covid and then later admitted it was a long time in the planning. The loyal staff were not given adequate time to prepare their families for this loss of income. The loyal parents were not even given an audience. When staff and parents asked to speak with leadership they were denied. No true Christian would do this, much less without even offering an audience to the offended parties. Don't go to this church, don't send your kids to this school. This church is posing as Christian but is actually run by the Lost and do not seek to live their lives and run their church and businesses the pure Christian way.

I had high hopes for this daycare, but unfortunately, the teacher-child ratio is far from ideal. With about 12 kids per teacher, it's nearly impossible for them to provide the attention and supervision that young children need. I've given this place two chances, at different stages of my child's life, and both times it didn't work out. The staff struggled to soothe my child and help them adapt to the environment, which was really disappointing. The staff members are friendly, and I appreciate their efforts, but there have been a couple of instances where I saw kids crying and needing help, yet no one was available to provide the care they needed. Given the significant cost, I expected much better care and attention for my child, who is my most precious treasure. Sadly, I'll have to look elsewhere or consider hiring help at home. read more

The learning experience has been incredibly beneficial for both me and my family. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and the curriculum they provide. She comes home every day excited to share stories about bubbles the elephant, Flex the Flamingo, and all the fun activities they do, especially exercising and playing outside. She always talks about how silly her teachers are and how much they make her laugh, which tells me she feels happy, safe, and comfortable in her environment. Miss Kim and Miss Hillary have created such a warm, engaging space for the kids, and it truly shows in how much my daughter enjoys going to school. I'm so grateful for the care, creativity, and positivity they bring into the classroom every day. read more

I previously worked as an aid for a student at this TLE location and got to work alongside some wonderful teachers who really cared about the success of their students! I was working alongside Ms. Brandi for most of my time there and she always did a great job managing her classroom! She made sure every student was included in work, helped her students in a variety of play and group activities on the carpet, and she always shared her love for her kids! She has a genuine heart for her students and it is teachers like her who make TLE so worth it! Having a newborn of my own now, I would totally consider TLE! read more

During the tye dye day if you don't provide your own shirt your child doesn't get to participate even after the parents spend an extra couple hundred dollars for a summer fee that's should cover the cost of shirts for the whole center! Your children will come in contact with countless germs and that is totally normal in a school setting but not even being informed if you or your child comes in contact with Covid during the height of the pandemic is beyond wrong! I honestly don't understand how this place is still in business with how it is being ran.

If you lack the education, you need to provide care for a busy child then maybe you should go collect your $16.50 or $16.75 somewhere else because these are our children not to be played with or treated as such because of any situation! This teacher also never reached out to me not in an email or a text message to even talk to me about the situation even as I passed her in the hallway recently, which is very upsetting. With this being said the Director of this daycare center was very attentive and helpful when I brought to her my concerns prior to my conversation with her about this teacher my child was switched to a different classroom, a classroom with two amazing teachers, that clearly have the patience and education that they should have to work with children! Teachers that genuinely care about our children are important and I'm thankful that my daughter has two of the best now at this daycare!! I was seriously thinking about switching my child to a whole different daycare because of this, but once she was moved to a different classroom with the two teachers that have dealt with her before on numerous occasions because she was sent to that classroom on numerous occasions due to too many children in one classroom, I am at ease now knowing my child is with teachers that value their job and care about our children! The teachers at MKLA care deeply about the kids, and the knowledge, encouragement, and confidence they gave her will stay with both her and us always. Lailta who is the owner / director takes great pride in her school and the teachers she hires . Finding a school that takes pride in these two things is a hard find these days. After few months, she is becoming really active and talks a lot in English which is a shock for us. Teachers at toddler class are very patient, nice and responsible, that make me feel at ease. Additionally, they teach a lot of skill to students such like cutting paper, drawing and writing. Last thing is they maintenace social distancing really well. He has anxiety about change and they have helped work with him to help him learn ways to cope with change. He comes home excitedly telling us about the science (transformations of butterflies, how honey is made, what creatures live in the ocean) and loves showing off his arts and crafts. School is fun to him with the way everything is a game, story, or craft. They have always communicated early and clearly about upcoming changes. They have Summer carnivals, winter showcase with singing, and theme weeks throughout the year. They do have two locations.
