I went there for a Tricky Tray on Thursday, April 10, 2014. The staff were all courteous and helpful. The decor was lovely and clean. The food was mediocre. The dinner rolls were on the table when we arrived but were so hard they must have been sitting out for hours. They were inedible. The next course was salad. It was over dressed, chopped too finely and wilted. The pasta course was penne in vodka sauce, which was acceptable but nothing outstanding. The main entree was chicken francaise with mashed potatoes and haricot verts. The chicken was a generous portion with a tasty mushroom gravy. The green beans were cooked to a perfect snap. The mashed potatoes were not fresh potatoes but rather, powdered, runny and over salted. Dessert was one scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce drizzled on it, alongside a very thin square of over baked (hard) brownie. read more

My mother got married at the Valley Regency 11 years ago and it was the best wedding ever! The cocktail hour alone was spectacular!!!! When I got engaged at Christmas, I knew the Valley Regency was one of my top choices. I met with Franco for about 3 minutes before I knew I HAD to have my wedding there. Franco was wonderful throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, Danny was our man. He made sure everything ran smoothly, truly a calming and knowledgeable man!! The Valley Regency is beautiful, the staff is incredibly professional, the cocktail hour is unparalleled, and the food is so delicious and abundant! Held my wedding reception here. Could not have been happier. So I'm holding a small wedding about 50 people on a budget. I wanted a buffet or extended coital style wedding but still wanted something kind of nice with a touch of elegance. I visited a lot of places but not that many willing to compromise for what I was looking for. They just didn't feel right.Then I walked into this place. First off I got my appointment time wrong and came about 2 hours early. I offered to come back late but Vincent the man who met me at the door, would not hear of it and immediately took me and my sister on a tour. I explained what I was looking for (buffet or cocktail style for a smallish group) also possibly a weekday because a lot of my friends and potential guest work weekends. He said yea I think we can accommodate that without batting an eye. The Big night comes and every thing is perfect. The garden is beautiful with a cherry tree in bloom above the stairs (Its April), and their pond has Koi fish! I loved it. I dropped off a bunch of stuff for the day before and everything was laid out just as I asked and they used some extras flowers I had to dress up my cake! I opted out of a lot of expensive extras at the bakery and just brought some small fake flowers left over from my centerpieces and asked them to sprinkle them around it to give it some color. They used them to create a cascading flower effect that was Beautiful! and perched the little figures on top perfectly. They turned the coctail room into our reception room and the widowed sitting area was opened for the DJ and dance floor. It was fantastic. We danced to the sunset and the view of the garden. The guest all raved about the food all night. My husband and I had plates of everything all set out for us and they even brought fresh plates because they worried it had gotten cold while we we having fun with the guest. And the bartender makes a great Sangria! I could not have been happier with the whole experience. The staff was all so friendly and accommodating and our big day felt truly special. Many of my guest all said it was the best time they had at a wedding in a long time. I could't agree more. read more

I attended an event here last night for New Beginnings for Tomorrow. When my husband and I walked in, we were immediately greeted and told where the event was. The room was beautiful, we'll laid out, with a very inviting vibe to it. The food was absolutely delicious, top quality, and there was a huge variety. Everything we had was wonderful. The waitstaff was top notch , always keeping drinks filled and plates cleared, and very pleasant to deal with. What really made this place stand out for us, is that this is apparently the old location of the Robin Hood Inn, where my husband and I had our wedding reception 25 years ago this May. Just had my son's wedding at the Valley Regency on 9/30/17. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding day for him and his bride. The Valley Regency did an amazing job! Really beautiful venue and superior staff. The food was over the top in abundance and delicious. Danny was our maitre'd and he was unbelievable in catering to everyone's needs...so accommodating! The whole night was magical and was so happy that they chose the Valley Regency. It was such a pleasure working with their staff and would recommend this venue to anyone. My dream wedding! I was married Feb.13,2016 and had my reception at the Valley Regency. From the minute we first walked in we knew this was the venue for us. We dealt with Franco in the planning and he made everything so easy and worry free. When I arrived for my reception, I was met at the door by Irene, bridal attendant, who was an absolute joy. She took great care of us all night. The cocktail hour was amazing! Food was unbelievable and my guests were loving every minute. The ballroom took my breath away-a dream come true. I've been to 2 weddings here, and both were excellent. The main ball room is huge. It's beautiful and ornate. The food is excellent and the staff, including the owners, are top notch. The have a lovely outdoor area for cermonies. The people there are warm and friendly and seem to really take care of their clients well. I am definitely a fan. read more

Was at a wedding here last night and I must say that I was super impressed. The wedding was held outside and we lucked out with the weather being relatively warm. The quality of the food was just outstanding.... From the cocktail hour to the main course. There was so much variety... I cannot think of what wasn't served. As usual, I over-indulged and I didn't think I would be able to enjoy the main course... But here, I did... I opted for the fish which was mahi mahi even though there's always a risk of mahi mahi being too dry.... especially when being mass produced... however, I wanted the lighter option. I was pleasantly surprised as it was very moist and I devoured it even when I felt as if I had eaten enough at the cocktail hour to see me through for a week! It was a wonderful evening ...the surroundings were pretty, facilities were clean and well maintained.., the service was EXCELLENT ...Our napkins were re-folded every time we left our seats ...Water was refilled attentively... Speaking of the water... Even the tap water tasted good, as if it had been filtered. If I were to ever to plan an event ... I would do it here!!! read more

We just held our youngest daughter's wedding at the Valley Regency this past June and while I had been expecting a beautiful wedding for my daughter they just blew away all my expectations and exceeded by fat anything I could have imagined. The venue itself, both inside and outside, is beyond beautiful and the food is out of this world both in quality and quantity. There is something to satisfy anyone's tastes and the service is first class. We received nothing but compliments from our guests who were not shy about telling us outright it was the best wedding they had ever been to or as to how we had hit a home run, how it was 'elegant". The cocktail hour was superb made even more so by having enough tables for the guests o enjoy themselves and t have to juggle their drinks an their food plates! Frank and Danny and the rest of the staff cannot receive any higher marks for ter servce which was just exceptional. We are going to have our older daughter's wedding there as well in October and having made the announcement, without even having sent out the invitations, people are jumping on board already and lining up telling us how excited they are and how much they are looking forward to attending our daughter Holly's wedding! It made me feel great just seeing how much our guests had enjoyed themselves. FIVE STARS is JUST NOT ENOUGH to bestow on this most excellent venue and it sfaff! Thank you Franko, Thank you Danny!
