After they finish setting up, she tells me that she didn't do the blue icing filling for the cupcakes so now I have nothing to reveal! I was furious! She didn't bother to use her table linen and left the existing one already on the table. We had to scramble and buy another prop to use for the reveal. I expressed my disappointment and that I wanted at least a partial refund but of course never heard from her again. She was also late picking up her equipment when we accommodated her to pick up the next day. For the amount paid, the service was truly lacking. While unloading decorations, we were approached by a homeless individual who was shouting nearby, which was a little unsettling. Parking was also somewhat limited, and I found myself worrying about our guests. Having worked in Northridge about 10 years ago, I remember it feeling much different than it does today. He is extremely professional and exudes good vibes all around! My mom, my now husband, and I KNEW we wanted him to DJ our wedding immediately after our first meeting. To begin, he came to the venue (backyard reception at my mom's home) months prior to the event and helped my mom figure out details like where the bar & bartender would be, where our grand entrance would be, whether she should get square or rectangle tables, where the food (buffet) was going to be served, where the dance floor was, etc. He essentially acted as a wedding coordinator as well as a DJ. Before the event we had a few conference calls with Mike to ensure we were all on the same page. I really really appreciated this because I'm a huge planner and I like to know exactly what's going on at all times. I didn't really have any worries at any point during the planning process because I just knew Mike would come through. He is truly amazing at what he does. The day of our reception, Michael kept the party going and just as I expected, everything went exactly as planned. Shortly after, Michael called me and we talked about my party and what I was looking for. I saw on the site, they also offer Photobooths so I asked if it was possible to make a slight change to the photobooth and personalize it a bit for my party and sure enough, they were able to accommodate! I booked a DeeJay and Photobooth package. I got directed to their client login site (awesome) and I was able to include music, change and edit the timeline and add special requests of music. That client site made it so easy to plan my party the way I wanted it to be. DJ Cali was my DJ, she showed up looking gorgeous for my fancy birthday and she was ready to hype up the party as needed. All the music I had asked for were played and during our special dance...the Dancing on Clouds added such an emotional touch to our heartfelt song. It was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! Professional, Communicative, Efficient and Wonderful would be the best words to describe what you are paying for when You decide to book them for an event. I rented a water slide for my daughter's birthday party, and unfortunately, the delivery and pickup…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When the delivery driver arrived, he asked if we could provide an extension cord, which I found surprising since I would expect the necessary equipment to be provided by the rental company. Throughout the delivery, he also appeared visibly frustrated and seemed as though he did not want to be there. For the pickup, we were told he would arrive around 8:00 PM, but he did not arrive until close to 9:00 PM. At that point, the water had not yet been completely drained. Rather than allowing us the time to finish draining it safely, he communicated that he had other things to do and needed to leave. While we were in the process of draining the pool, he took it upon himself to remove the bottom of the pool so that the remaining water could drain out more quickly. The problem was that two of my guests were standing directly in front of the area, one of whom was a senior citizen. Suddenly, a large amount of water rushed out like a river, creating a significant slipping hazard. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this could have easily resulted in someone falling. Several guests' shoes were also soaked in the process. Overall, I found the entire experience to be completely unprofessional and lacking consideration for the safety of our guests. Given the amount we paid for the rental, I expected a much higher level of customer service, professionalism, and care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how deliveries and pickups are handled in the future.
