The alternator went !! The person who showed up with the tow truck didn't go thro with the request. The guy told us the battery was dead because a dome light with left on. Which nothing was left on to drain the battery. !! The guy ended boosting the van without our permission. Left the vehicle running and drove off. And told my parents it was safe to drive ! I just say wasn't safe to drive period it did more damage to the vehicle. Now I am looking at over $ 900.00 to replace alternator, alternator belt and new battery ( he fryed the battery ). We called in to the company and complained. I just say they didn't take responsibility of what the driver did. And the driver lied to protect his ass. He never knocked on my door , no one gave him permission to boost the vehicle.

Absolutely shameful service. Taking advantage of a teenager. Young lady was in an accident a few…read moredays before Christmas, rolled her car and had to be tended to by EMS. Police officer on site contacted Kelly's Towing without asking the young lady or informing her of what the procedure was. Kelly's took her car to their yard where it sat, while the young girl received medical services at the hospital. On Monday December 27th the young lady contacted Kelly's towing to inform them she was coming to get her vehicle. She was told that they were under the impression that she was leaving it and the "storing fees" would be waived upon surrender of the vehicle. No one told her that there would be a daily cost, she was not given the opportunity to have a local towing company take her car back to her home over 40km away, and she was charged 150.00 tow fee for a less than 5km trip. the total for this unbelievable horrible service ended up costing this young lady 235.00. Would not recommend this service if it was the last on earth. Shameful!!!

My wife had her car towed to Butts Auto Service. It would work for several days, then just cut out…read moreat random times and not start again. You could wait a day and then it might start and work for awhile again. It was intermittent. They hooked up their computer while it was running again and it recommended a new battery and spark plugs. My wife trusted them and said okay. They installed them and told my wife to pick it up. When I finally had a chance to call in (as I was working before), I stated that there is more to it and the car will just cut out randomly. Keep the plugs, but I don't think we want to buy batteries and other upkeep maintenance until we find out what the actual problem is. They said they would call back when they find it. I said ok. A couple hours later, I get a call from someone different and they said "We understand that you don't want spark plugs or a battery in your car. So we took them out. We don't deal with people like you. You can come and pick up your car". I swore and told them where to go. I would like to warn others because it is very hard to find anyone in this business that you can trust. And this place, I wouldn't recommend to anyone. You have been warned!
