My car battery died and I was a damsal in distress. I called my dealership (Airpark Jeep) and they referred me to Valley TLC. My tow truck arrived in 30minutes! It was a nice tow truck with a flat bed in the back too so it would not ruin my vehicle. Mathew was the driver and it turns out we are from the same area in the Northwest. We chatted for a bit and then he hauled my car to North Scottsdale from Old Town Scottsdale. The cost was about $108 which I found to be quite reasonable considering how fast they arrived and it was about a 15mile tow. They also called to notify me when the vehicle was dropped off. If you ever need a car towed call Valley TLC and hopefully Mathew is available. I have no complaints! I called to get a status of when it will arrive & the receptionist said it would be another two to three hours! I said okay, what time will that be, and she said anytime from 8am-12pm. Pass! I cancelled and called a different towing company, Central Towing, and they came within 40 minutes. Twice I had to use these guys. Once I was stranded in my work van on the I10 and everyone told me 2-4 hours. Valley was there in 1/2 hour and did fantastic. Today my wife's van broke down. Triple A said 1 hour and then after waiting over an hour, they said 2 more hours! Even though Triple A would have been free, I called Valley Towing, and again they were there fast. The drivers both times were super nice guys. And when I called the office they were very nice too. Rates were reasonable. I don't see how this company can get anything but 5 stars. Without exaggeration, I think these are the worst people I have ever met. As a physician, I have taken care of rapists, murders, etc. I would much rather deal with them than this company. Our daughter was involved in a car accident and the car got towed to their lot. The driver told her she could pick up her textbooks any time by going to the lot. When she went, their desk attendant yelled at her. They wanted a notarized letter faxed to them to allow the information to be released. When I faxed the letter, they again yelled at her for wasting their time because it was faxed and they need the original. And worse, the notary put June rather than September for the date. Her mistake - so they yelled again and threatened to have us both arrested for a fraudulent document. Thankfully, the insurance company got the car out of their grubby hands so they are nothing but a bad memory. I called the owner and nicely suggested they give the drivers a letter outlining the process. Both the owner and her assistant were just nasty. Not their job, our fault for not following instructions, etc. Like I said, give me a mass murder any day over these people. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Might as well push your vehicle wherever it's gotta go. Called on a Saturday requesting a tow PER MY DEALERSHIP and a young man got snippy about towing on weekends. So we scheduled for it to be picked up on Monday morning. I called on Monday morning at 7:02 am to verify. They said it wouldn't be till early afternoon. I called at 2:52pm to check the status from work. They stated they tried calling the dealership I "requested drop off at" and the service advisor was non existent. I asked what dealership they were calling and they gave me a completely different city dealership. They stated that's the name I gave them even though it wasn't. ( My car was gone for 2 months I KNOW AT WHICH DEALER). I told them they need to call the correct one and get back to me when they do. The gentleman stated I should have "facilitated a call from the dealership". WHY WAS THIS WAS NOT COMMUNICATED ON SATURDAY OR MONDAY MORNING. They reached out to my dealership and "go figure" couldn't get ahold of them. They stated they "trusted me now because the dealership texted me the ok". RIDICULOUS. I AGAIN just got off the phone at 9:20pm to make sure my car even arrived. No communication. read more

Just for your information before you call. The add a 30% 'administration' fee ontop of any towing charges that they would quote you. As described by their representative, 'administration' is fuel, wear on the trucks, paperwork, etc......basically doing the job of towing. My $185 dollar tow thus became $240 for doing their job. I have had to use Valley Towing twice now. I have used some other tow services around the valley. My previous experience was not good. I allowed my roadside company to pick the tow company and found myself sitting around wondering if they were EVER going to show up. It took longer than I was told and the driver/operator lacked professionalism. When you have that unfortunate need for a roadside tow, it is already stressful enough. My experiences with Valley have been the opposite. Very professional and courteous, they arrived in less time than I was told and the driver was clean and professional. Valley Towing Company was great! My sister's parked car was hit by a construction truck and we wanted to get it towed to the body shop. I called Valley Towing and they were able to send out a driver immediately. Unfortunately, the police took forever to come do a report, but the driver, Steve, stayed with my sister and helped her navigate the issue. He even offered to drive her to her class at ASU! Wayne at Valley Towing was AWESOME! He came in a timely manner and was able to get my van on the truck even though my parking break was stuck on. He had to tow me around a Starbucks drive thru and was pleasant and nice even when people were being impatient with the 3 extra minutes they had to wait! I'm so thankful for him today and how efficient he was to get my van to the dealership for repair. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a tow company. Shady business practices all around. Towed one of our fleet vehicles back to our office and then proceeded to fleece our employee. 1st citing one cost for towing, then once the employee agreed, that price mysteriously increased again and again. Finally, they priced it out of the funds the employee had on hand. This lead to them towing it back to their impound yard and then effectively doubling the cost. When we went to pick it up the next day, they informed us they only take cash. They informed us that everyone knows they only take cash. Because that is what all reputable operations do, run on a cash basis. So in summary, if you are looking to be gouged by people with terrible attitudes looking for ways to empty your pockets, then Valley Towing is your best bet. read more

Small company so I guess it depends on the day and who you deal with makes the difference. My car was towed after an accident. Tow guy was great...didn't talk much but gave me the information I needed. Went to get my belongings out of the car that weekend, and the guy there was nice and patient with me while I made two trips back and forth. Called today, at the request of my insurance company to release my car, and I guess the lady who helped me wasn't having a good day. Really short and kind of rude, almost like she couldn't be bothered to help me. That experience alone took them from 4 to 2 stars...one star each for the two gentlemen that I dealt with in the beginning. read more

My car became disabled in my garage. Called this towing company on the recommendation from my car dealer. 1st call placed at 10:30am and was told it would be about 90 min. 12:30pm, still no tow. I called back at this point and was told it would be 30 min and....she took my information again...what did she do lose it or maybe she forgot to order in the first place. Ugh. 1:30pm (3 hrs. now) I contemplated calling another company and then I though what if they both came together or the 1st one came for nothing. So, I still waited (it's not like I'm going anywhere, right?) Finally 2:30pm they arrived. 4hrs people!!! and not even a call from the office to say oh they're busy or running behind, nothing. The guy was nice enough, but had a lot of difficulty jumping it to get it out of garage. I stood and watch as he hooked up the chains and started to pull it onto truck, I'm thinking there must be something I have to sign, so I stepped in the driveway and away he pulls. They don't tow trailers and the tow co's they referred me to didn't answer or were in Apache Junction! Really??? So forget AAA.
