A tow truck driver, and a man who said he was the owner, both were not wearing mask. This took place in a busy gas station/convenience store. Employee safety, customer safety and the safety of their community does not seem to be their priority or concern when it comes the pandemic. Anyone who is concerned about the spread of Covid or those who are in the high risk category, I suggest calling someone else for a tow. I was told I needed new rear brakes, so I planned to replace them myself on Saturday, 12/29/25. When I went to start the job, my security socket was nowhere to be found. So much for my Saturday project. The shop was closed for the weekend, so I couldn't resolve it. I met with the owner, Dan, on Monday. He ordered a new set of security lugs in hopes that the key would work. It did not. The tech had misplaced my original key during the brake inspection. Needless to say, it was a major inconvenience--and I didn't receive so much as an apology from the owner. This was my experience as a first-time customer. Then on two occasions I brought my vehicle in for service before taking road trips and got stuck a thousand miles from home when something broke that they should have fixed. The first time, I was driving to Colorado and the car quit when I reached the Rockies. Turns out the air filter hadn't been cleaned or replaced. When I returned home, I told Happy's what had happened and their explanation was that the filter got dirty between home and Colorado, and they hadn't done anything wrong. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and a few months later got my brakes done before a trip to New York. By the middle of Pennsylvania, the brakes were squeaking and pulsating so badly that I had to limp to a local garage that my sister recommended. They redid the job for about 2/3 the cost of what I'd paid Happy's. That was when I decided to take my business elsewhere.
