They quickly emailed me back confirming the NEED for the printed email. I had to spend $45 on taxi fare just to go 15 minutes to FedEx Office and back to pick up copies I had quickly ordered. The shuttle driver picked me up on time outside the airport and had a roster that I signed. I showed him the email but he didn't seem to need to read it, and surely didn't take the paper copy I worked so hard to acquire. I would hope this requirement is eliminated if the roster expects you and your ID and ticket number match, or at least accept a visual view from a cell phone of the email.

The buses are clean and easy to maneuver on. The bike rack are easy to use, and the transit lines are carefully routed. I wish I would have hade the mind set to commute in the past! Saving gas and helping with reducing pollution is great. I drive on weekends in my own vehicle. However, the bus lines are a bailable seven days a week! Now, that's a desk for all lifestyles! I know they do this to keep the routs spaced evenly, but they should do this during the half-hours only, since this practice has made me, and everyone else on that bus late for class before. Living out in Apartment Land, it is nice that I can take either Express 1, or Express 2 to get to campus/home, or alternatively North or South at night/on the weekends. They need to make the bus tracking map on their website available in the smart phone markets.

Even though the Steward swept the floor when we got close to Portland he only swept the aisles. The seats were filthy. When I had to take the train back to Washington, with my granddaughter, we were then told the train wasn't coming at all and we had to ride a bus back. Not a normal Greyhound bus but a small party bus jammed packed with people, shoulder to shoulder, a sack lunch from Subway, that I couldn't eat, no bathroom and the seats were ridiculously hard and had to sit straight up! I'm almost 70yrs old and that was very painful on a 4 hour ride! For the money I paid, and no reduced charges it was HELL! I'll not take the train ever again and I'm telling everyone I know across the country not to either!!!

Thursday, 07/12/2024,…read more Up since 4:30am, Three weary travelers from Pasco, WA to Portland, OR, with a change of trains from Portland, OR to Tacoma, WA -arrived early for their 6:40am departure on The Empire Builder. Only to find out our train had been delayed by 4 hours and was now departing at 10:35am. We checked our 2 largest pieces of luggage and decided to just wait at the station, as our family friend DR had already dropped us off & gone on to work. Well about 7:30am the Amtrak employee who works the desk came by and gave us a 5.11 oz. Snack box filled with: Hummus, Cheese Spread, Almonds, Brownie Crisps, Crackers, Beef Stick & Dried Apples! FREE! WOW, what a wonderful service and it saved us from having to buy snacks with our own $! I'm highly recommend taking this train. Thanks Amtrak!

I can't say enough good things about Imbibe Wine Tours! Our group of 4 visited Walla Walla for a…read moreday of wine tasting. Not knowing much about the region or the wineries we felt almost overwhelmed by where to begin. From the start of booking, as we crafted the itinerary they were super responsive and provided great suggestions for wineries to visit and curated the tour by our preferences of reds and roses. The car was clean and stocked with water and iced coffee, which was a nice pick-me-up throughout our day. A yummy lunch was also included which we stopped to enjoy while visiting one of the wineries during our tasting. Imbibe was also conscious to ask whether anyone in our group had dietary restrictions - one person didn't eat red meat and they were able accommodate a separate meal for them as well. Jay was our driver for the day and was absolutely fantastic! Having lived in area for years he was very familiar with each of the wineries and their histories, so he provided a little background as we were on our way to each. After a winery or two, you lose track of time, at least I know we did :) so Jay was also great about keeping us on schedule. If you're looking to visit Walla Walla for a day or two of wine tasting, I highly recommend Imbibe Wine Tours, you can't go wrong!
