I truly appreciated the quick response to questions, explanation of services and options to pay by invoice or cash. We rented the Mercedes luxury limo with blue tooth speakers and TV screens. There were just 5 of us so we had plenty of room and could leave our purchases in the vehicle in between stops. The limo was stocked with plenty of cold water and soft drinks on ice. Only downside was a few of us felt a little car sick to start, especially if you are sitting sideways, as the ride could be a little bumpy. I wished I would have taken a dramamine or something. If you get car sick easy, when someone else is driving, consider this. Our driver Andrew was wonderful. Very courteous, helpful, friendly and funny too. I liked how he carefully placed a step stool and helped us on and off the ride safely too. We could easily text Andrew to let him know when we were ready to go. We went to Kiona and Terra Blanca on Red Mountain, then ended at Kimo's for food and drinks. So glad Rick recommended Terra Blanca, as the views were stunning. The vehicle is very spacious and clean and it was fun to play our own music. The wide windows made for beautiful views of the vineyards. I would definitely use them again next time I am in town.

They're basically all one big city but with three distinct centers and they consider themselves as different and yet the same. So it is pretty adorable around here, and this is a cute station too, and it's set back a little bit from the road, and looks cute. It looks brand new as well. It serves the three cities well, but especially Pasco where it's situated. My concert was in Richland so it was hard to get there from here with my instrument honestly. It's for local transit. And Greyhound stops here as well which is how I've used it on a number of occasions.

We're lucky in the Tri-Cities to have one of the newest train stations in the Pacific North West (this station was constructed in 1998). I like it here, because whenever I'm here, it means I'm going somewhere cool, whether it's the early train to Portland, or the evening train to Glacier National Park. The Empire Builder is the east/west train which serves us. This depot also serves Greyhound as well as the Mexican bus service, Estrella Blanca. The waiting room is generally clean, and there is a vending machine available (but if you've got time, stop by a taco truck since you're surrounded!). I must admit I was a little wary of leaving my vehicle here over the weekend, but my MINI was waiting for me safe & sound after my weekend trip to Portland. Ok, when's the next trip!?

Long phone conversations at booking about wanting to be able to see family knowing my dogs were safe while I was gone...in case the AC went out. I did not request any specific numbered spot, but it seemed like I could safely assume it was NOT in the full sun. Checked in today to see the pet policy is NOT as lax as I was told at booking. Walk the dogs along the asphalt road in 98 degree heat for the fenced dog park. Oh? I have old dogs...they don't need a "park" environment, just a safe place to potty. After pushing the issue, I was told that I suppose they could use the grass area between the pull through spots, but it did not seem preferred. Then I got to the allotted spot. See the dead TINY tree photo.... 1) no shade...and it had zero chance of it when making my reservation over the phone a month ago. 2) the plastic cover over the outlets was broken, then poorly masked to look as if it was one piece. 3) There are obviously water issues between the 2 emergency shut off emails today and the dying grass around my assigned location. I pulled an employee over to show them the broken plastic (to ensure I couldn't be blamed) and I was told that I could probably move spaces, but I'd already plugged in for the AC with my pets on board and had the "never leave your pets unattended" policy pointed out in the office anyway. If I were the manager trying to get to pimp out for high reviews, I'd personally be working harder on putting people in better empty sites when they aren't full. An extra $28/night for a false expectation and resort services I'm not officially allowed to use. Consider me unimpressed.

an affront to the senses since 1978 the Ed Hendler Bridge connects Kennewick to Pasco in the worst…read morepossible way. when it was dedicated it was the first major cable stayed bridge in the United States and the second longest in the world coming in at just over 2500 feet long and carrying Washington 379 some 50 feet above the Columbia River. adding insult to injury the last bit of the way cooler looking cantilevered Green Bridge (officially: the Pasco-Kennewick Bridge) that it "replaced" sits as a viewing platform beside. it's not too horrible for a cable stayed bridge but I wouldn't want it in my backyard...

It was constructed in 1978 and replaced the Pasco-Kennewick Bridge, an earlier span built in 1922 and demolished in 1990. I not only crossed this bridge, but got to see it up close from a boat on the Columbia River (in and out from Clover Island). The "cable stayed" design is quite a sight to see and admire. The Cable Bridge, from the time of its opening, has proved to be a popular landmark in the Tri-City area, so much so it has become an unofficial symbol of the area. The Bridge is lit up at night, and there's an annual Cable Bridge Run across the span. At the foot of the Kennewick end is the Tri-Cities Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The remaining pier of the old Pasco-Kennewick bridge now serves as a scenic lookout, from which one can view its successor bridge.
