Incredibly unprofessional. No compassion or consideration for patient's time. Arrived at 6:30am. 11 and still no doctor. Get it together.

My experience with the surgery coordinator, Cecilia Contreras, was very disappointing…read more I contacted the office after receiving approval for my second inguinal hernia surgery authorization to understand the next steps in the process. When I originally met with the office, I was told that if I was busy, I could schedule the surgery later and that I had flexibility regarding the timing. I also experienced difficulty reaching Cecilia directly. On multiple occasions when I called the office, she was unavailable, which made it challenging to get timely information and assistance regarding my care. For that reason, I was surprised by the way I was treated during my recent phone call. Instead of receiving guidance and support, I felt blamed for not scheduling the surgery sooner. Patients may have personal, family, work, financial, or health-related reasons for postponing a procedure, and I felt those circumstances were not taken into consideration. What concerned me most was the tone of the conversation. I felt that Cecilia Contreras was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily confrontational. As someone whose primary language is not English, I was doing my best to communicate and understand the process. Rather than helping clarify the situation, the conversation left me feeling uncomfortable, pressured, and discouraged from asking questions. I was told that if I planned to continue with the office, I needed to schedule the surgery, and if not, I should say so immediately. This felt more like pressure than patient care, especially considering that I had previously been told I could schedule the procedure when my circumstances allowed. Communication was often incomplete. For example, when my follow-up appointment was scheduled, I was given the date but not the time and had to ask for it separately. The call also ended abruptly without the level of courtesy and professionalism that patients should expect from a medical office. Scheduling surgery is a significant medical decision, and patients deserve to be treated with respect, professionalism, and understanding. Unfortunately, this interaction caused me to lose confidence in moving forward with this office, and I have decided to seek care elsewhere. I hope the clinic reviews how patients are treated and improves communication with future patients.

It's been a long hard road but 5 surgeries later I am ready to write my review. In 2019 I went to…read moresee Dr. Rahim Aimaq who was given to me by my insurance for my surgery. I explained to him that I am BRCA1 positive and have grown tumors in my breast. I told him I wanted to do a prophylactic (preventative) mastectomy with nipple sparing because I did not have cancer so I wanted to save my nipples. He said okay great we will do the surgery. The next time I seen him was 1 month later on the day of my surgery. I signed my paperwork that said I was doing a mastectomy & was put under. I woke up with no nipples. I was crying & wondering why. The nurse at the hospital said she will reach out to him right away & she did. Once on the phone he refused to talk to me & didn't even come see me post operation at all. He told the nurse he will explain to me why I have no nipples when he sees me in his office in 2 weeks for my check up appointment. I was & still am devastated. I was depressed & traumatized. I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror before I got in the shower for a year. The scars were big & crooked as well. At the appointment he claimed that nipple cancer is very common therefore he removed my nipples when I did not want him to & without my permission. I was shocked & speechless. My plastic surgeon was shocked as well because he knew our plan & when he came into the room to do reconstruction during surgery he said my nipples were gone & he was confused. I underwent many surgeries & they had to make new "nipples" for me. I have also got the areola's tattooed on. It doesn't change the fact that it happened & it still effects me today. I am doing this review & crying. I am doing this review to make people aware of what Dr. Aimaq did to me. It took a long time to get up the courage. If it wasn't for my loving family & Dr. Paul Tran my plastic surgeon I don't know how I would of got through this. If I could of given zero stars I would have for this review. Thanks for listening & God Bless everyone.

I came in with a significant hernia and severe diastasis recti, and the results of my repair have completely exceeded my expectations -- and I'm only three weeks post-op! From beginning to end, the entire process was seamless. Dr. Kashani is hands down one of the best surgeons I have ever been to. He is incredibly skilled, precise, efficient, and genuinely cares about his patients. His bedside manner is exceptional -- he made me feel comfortable, confident, and completely taken care of throughout the entire experience. The staff deserves just as much praise. Everyone was professional, kind, responsive, and made the entire surgery and recovery process feel effortless. My recovery has been incredible. I experienced virtually zero pain, my healing has gone so smoothly, and I am already absolutely thrilled with my results. The difference in only three weeks is unbelievable, and I know I'm still early in the healing process. When you're trusting someone with surgery, you want a doctor who combines exceptional surgical skill with genuine compassion -- and that is exactly what I found here. 10/10 across the board. I would recommend Dr. [Name] over and over again without hesitation. I am beyond grateful I chose him and could not be happier with my experience and results. Truly an exceptional surgeon and an exceptional team!

I HIGHLY recommend him and his crew.

I was there for knee pain and all he did was read over my previous doctor's notes (now retired) and we agreed upon my continuation of the Euflexxa injections for my knee. I was shocked that he never even examined my knee durning my first office visit with him. This appointment was over six weeks ago and I am still waiting on an approval for my Euflexxa injection which usually takes 1 to 1 1/2 weeks for the approval. I have spoken with Cecily at the office for help on two occasions. The first occasion, she said the there is a delay with Optum and could take up to 4 weeks for approval. Please keep in mind that I am in knee pain. When I called again on August 10, 2026, Cecily said that she cannot tell me the status of my medication and would leave a message for the person who could help me. This person who Cecily promised would help me, never called me back. Wednesday of last week, I called my insurance provider in order to help me find out the status of my medicine and we spoke with Karen. Karen promised that we would have the medication by last Friday. Once again, Karen nor any other person called me back from Dr. Nadel's office. As of yesterday, I filed a complaint with my insurance provider and the lack of help with Dr. Nadel and the office staff. How can the office staff here ignore someone who's in pain and not work on getting the medication that I have been using to relieve the pain now for a couple of years. This is unconscionable.

Regarding Dr. Ahluwalia…read more His staff is spot on, professional, friendly and more than efficient. Due to my left shoulder I was experiencing great pain and even more frightening, the use of my left arm was declining rapidly. There were numerous problems at work and a complex surgery was required. After studying the MRI's, Dr. Alawalia made it clear that surgery was absolutely necessary. Two days prior to the surgery I met with him, and he explained that the tissue was so diseased that he feared it would not hold sutchers. Preparing me for the real possibility that it may not be a successful surgery. Beyond that; bone needed to be shaved, bone spurs removed, there was vicious arthritis at work and more. Many hours in surgery, when I came around, Dr. Alawalia shared that it went extremely well, he was pleased. He prepared me for a painful and long recovery and connected me to physical therapy at Back to Health under the care of Dr. Ian Navatny. Over six months of therapy - two days a week, I had a left shoulder and arm that were 100% and still are. Dr. Alawaalia is a gifted Doctor, a true healer and a brilliant surgeon. It's always reassuring when another Dr. shares that I have an excellent surgeon. I have two problems at the moment and I'm confident we will find the answer: I'm in the hands of Dr. Alawalia.
