let me tell you parents. it's a good school but there are many spoiled brats i attended this school…read more6 years ago and and now am graduating collage the teacher ms zumbro and ms haulderman are very rude teachers/PRINCIPAL. Do but everyone else is very nice just raise your kids right.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this school. At the first walk through/orientation, what…read morestuck out the most was that the principal knew every single kids name that walked by. I could tell right then that this more than a school, it was a community. My daughter is very new to the school and has attended one year of preschool and is currently enrolled in Kinder at St. Pats and she is already READING! She's only been in kinder a few months and I'm so impressed! I was nervous when we first enrolled my daughter about her being in the same class with the same kids for 9 years straight (k-8th grade)... Until I spoke with an 8th grade mom at one of the mixers. She said the bond that those kids have is like nothing else. They look out for each other and truly have each others backs. They start highschool with confidence and knowing who they are. There is a lot of parent participation opportunities which intimidated me a little. I'm a full time working mom with very little flexibility however attending the after hours mixers has allowed me to meet other parents who ARE available to work in the classrooms and attend the field trips etc. I constantly get texts with pics of my daughter and cute stories of what happened in class etc. It just goes back to the community of it all. Mass at school has literally brought me to tears. Seeing the confidence of the older kids doing readings in front of the whole school and parents/grandparents. Watching the priest interact with the children and call on them with questions. The kids are so eager to raise their hand and be called on. Its amazing, very interactive and inspiring. It truly just validates why I am so happy we chose to enroll her in this school and community.

I would challenge the other review, based on a few statements. 1) The author lives over 250 miles…read moreaway, implying their review to be based on another persons statements. 2) The policies of the church changed to only employing those qualified by the state and attend the church. As it should be. 3) the scaling down of the preschool size means better quality of care and education for your child. 4) If you now anything about preschools and todays economy, preschools are lucky of they break even year to year. I think Little Oaks Preschool is a great place to bring your child. Is there room for improvement, yes, but which preschool is perfect?

This used to be a great christian school. It had a very experienced and friendly staff. This past…read moreyear they promoted a new director for the preschool. It has since gone down hill fast. This new director is not qualified nor experienced to run a preschool. The pastors of the church along with the director ( who is also a new hope church member) are using the church and the school for personal gain. They recently let a teacher go who is a cal poly graduate with 30 years experience, 19 of which has been at little oaks so that the pastors' daughter could have a job. She has no experience and no formal training. This school does not have the best interests of the children at heart and need to have their license reviewed as well as the rights of the teachers which are also being violated. Until this school cleans up their act I would not recommend this school to anyone!
