I witnessed an elderly doctor literally slit the throat of a patient while trying to put a catheter in his chest, the male techs would drink liquor during work hours with the Radiology physician, a urologist came into the work room & grabbed my breasts. I quit exactly 1 year & because I left an hour before my shift was over the Personnel Dir said I couldn't get my vacation pay. Unethical, unprofessional, rude, crude & socially unacceptable personnel in ALL areas of this hospital. There's plenty of crude words that would better describe the culture there but I won't stoop to their level of everyday vocabulary. Don't work there or seek services there! Men - dont let your wives or daughters work here.

To have to experience a situation like this is horrific in its own but to have such a caring, empathetic and knowledgeable team there ready and willing at all times really helped us get through this and that was just tremendous. She requested that me and her sons dad be in the room with her because she had to stay overnight due to preeclampsia monitoring. She was very rude and unprofessional and honestly it cause her to have high anxiety because she didn't feel safe because of the type of person she was. She wasn't concerned about her health at all she told her that she is more than welcome to leave if that's what she wanted. She didn't care one bit about my grandsons life! Like I said if she would have been more caring and explain things with compassion and kindness things would have been different and she would have felt more safe. But she didn't want to leave after all because the risk of her child's safety. Well I called and spoke to a lady in OB and she said she would have the supervisor to call me. Mary returned my call and immediately was rude and automatically started defending Maggie. She said I walked up when you was arguing with my nurse: well pull the cameras because I wasn't arguing I was explaining the situation and how she has seizures and anxiety really bad. She didn't care one bit and said I can check her out and take her somewhere else. I honestly couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. I couldn't believe she was a monster. I asked her who her supervisor was and she said Markae, Heritage. I will be contacting her in the morning and explain my experience. Maybe she can pull the cameras and see for herself how unprofessional both of them was being.

Communication was consistently poor , as his primary support , I struggled to get clear timely information about his condition , care and next steps. The discharge process was even worse. I received a message stating I had a limited time of 3 days to pick him up if placement still wasn't found which was completely unrealistic for dementia patients who require careful coordination and appropriate placement. Instead of support and help in planning , there was pressure and urgency without any guidance. Most concerning. This did not feel like an appropriate setting for someone with dementia . Hus needs did not seem to be properly understood or addressed. Which also raises concerns about quality of care and placement. Overall the lack of communication , poor discharge planning and questionable suitability of this facility for dementia patients created unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I would NOT ever recommend this hospital for families caring for lived ones with dementia who require thought coordinated care. Rates as a zero no star experience but had to post at least one start to post the review

I know first hand how difficult and stressful it can be at times to care for with quality and empathic hands. This hospital treats all Types with mental health issues and diagnosis and most of the staff I was blessed to work with care and gave there best . (Most, the majority of The staff love there jobs and the patients) if anyone thinks they can perform or do a better job I encourage them to get an application and get hired and get after it. The staff there and the doctor are not idiots. Mental health is real and it's tuff full circle to care for and with caring hands . Our 5 yo daughter hurt her hand so we went to the closest ER. We were greeted immediately, a nurse came out and triaged her right away, and we were roomed. The staff were all so wonderful, even bringing stickers to help soothe a tired and scared little girl. The doctor saw us right away, did a great job examining and interacting with her in the midst of her pain and then thoroughly explained what the course of treatment should be. Upon leaving, all of the staff thanked us and said goodbye. They were incredibly professional, polite and caring. As healthcare professionals, my husband and I were very highly impressed by this visit and the staff! Many thanks to our nurse, Missy, and Dr. Fisher for treating our little girl so well!

The reason my review has been raised is because both times I was in this ER it was a 100% better than it has EVER been in the almost 30 years that I have lived here. Not sure if they're making changes or if both times I caught them at a good time but I'd really like to believe the first. Both times I didn't have to wait hours upon hours. I got in right away. Both Dr's that saw me were knowledgeable and efficient. Their bedside manner was great and they were so great at explaining what they were doing and why. I was in and out and my nerves were eased right away. I only raised it to 3 stars because of the later incidences happening but I sure hope this trend keeps up at our ER because when people go to the ER they are scared or nervous enough without having to add all this other to the list. Absolutely horrible ER! The worst I have ever seen! My son tonight came in from work and took a hot shower. He has had a huge knot on his shoulder blade for 3 days. Tonight when he tried standing up he felt something like paper ripping in his back and he could barely stand after that. We sat in the ER for almost 3 hours before we decided to just get up and leave! During this time 2 other people also got up and left. During this time we saw 2 nurses actually leave to either go home or go on break! Every time the doors opened the nurses were either sitting down or standing around!!!! Really ? You got people in severe pain and sick and you have nothing better to do? This isn't the first time with this hospital doing this. About 9 months ago my son had a huge stomach virus and fever and had filled up 3 of those bags and he got there on a Saturday morning at 8am and didn't get back till 4pm!!! This is uncalled for! There's was a old lady who had even been waiting longer!!!! This ER needs to be shut down!!! Incompetent staff and just completely uncalled for! Admin will be getting a call! On another note when I walked in there was pornagraphic stuff (explicit) sex on the tv and the dad of the little was trying to hide her eyes! The mom was finally able to get the to tv changed. Dr. Campbell used simple terms when explaining everything to us so we understood what he was doing at all times. He also made it very easy upon discharge with clear instructions for wound checks and the importance to watch for any infections and healing. The nurse was very nice to my mother and patient which was made for a less stressful situation. We had to follow up Saturday for wound check and was given the same service as Friday with everyone being just as nice.
