I left several messages they never called back. I called again days later & they answered. They had someone go out and give me an estimate and I was told they could get to it on a certain day, that day came and went with no phone call. I called the following day to find out when they were going to get out for the repair. The woman who answered the phone said she had no idea. NO IDEA? What? There is no communication between the front, the workers and the customer, whatsoever. A little back story, when they had previously worked on my parents awning, they put in the wrong size of screws. So it had been going on for years, screws falling out but my Dad would just screw them back in. They would work their way out again, which was a constant thing but it had been too long since they did the work for my Dad to bring it to their attention. (I didnt live in AZ in 2021 so I had no idea this was happening almost weekly). When they came to do an estimate, they admitted that they put in the wrong size screws 5 years earlier. Now it's time for them to do the actual work.And then they don't show up, then they say it's going to be a another week before they can get to it. I wasnt happy about that but was going to take that appointment anyway, he interrupted and said " you know what, to make it easier on everybody I suggest you go find someone else"! They didn't want to deal with my issue and that they're really not making any money off of my small job, just go somewhere else. In the meantime, its been 2 weeks of waiting for them to show up, now I have to start the whole process over. Needless to say, I was shocked that a company would tell me to go somewhere else because they didn't make enough money on my job or want to deal with the situation, but in midsentence of trying to respond, he hung up on me! Mesa Awning does not stand behind their work. Word-of-mouth can be the best advertising and/or the worst advertising. I would never go to this company ever again and I will tell everyone I know not to use Mesa Awning. I looked at some other reviews and apparently the communication hasn't gotten better in 5 years. Also they dont clean up after themselves which is a big turn-off for anyone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your awning needs!

Shane and his team have been a dream to work with. They're excellent at communicating,…read moreprofessional, go above and beyond (a monsoon knocked a large tree limb off near the work space during a project so one of the team members grabbed a ladder from us and climbed up to finish hacking off the branch and disposed of it), and are very detail-oriented. We were experiencing leaks during monsoons along a specific wall, so the initial plan with Shane was to raise the grade; however, when he dug out the foundation for the grading, he found some holes in the foundation that were likely the source of the problem; he then did some research and found a reasonably-priced way to fix the foundation himself without the more expensive option of bringing out a foundation team. We're pleased to report that we've had two massive monsoons that filled the entire work space, turning it into a moat - and no further leakage. Problem solved. The other nice thing is that Shane explains any additional costs that get added to the project - everything makes sense and feels like an appropriate price for what you're getting. Overall, highly recommend Shane's team if you're looking to do any big landscaping projects in the Phoenix area.
