If I could leave at zero I would. My parents had previous work done on their awning in 2021. I called them to repair it 2 weeks ago. I called several times and they never answered. I left several messages they never called back. I called again days later & they answered. They had someone go out and give me an estimate and I was told they could get to it on a certain day, that day came and went with no phone call. I called the following day to find out when they were going to get out for the repair. The woman who answered the phone said she had no idea. NO IDEA? What? There is no communication between the front, the workers and the customer, whatsoever. A little back story, when they had previously worked on my parents awning, they put in the wrong size of screws. So it had been going on for years, screws falling out but my Dad would just screw them back in. They would work their way out again, which was a constant thing but it had been too long since they did the work for my Dad to bring it to their attention. (I didnt live in AZ in 2021 so I had no idea this was happening almost weekly). When they came to do an estimate, they admitted that they put in the wrong size screws 5 years earlier. Now it's time for them to do the actual work.And then they don't show up, then they say it's going to be a another week before they can get to it. I wasnt happy about that but was going to take that appointment anyway, he interrupted and said " you know what, to make it easier on everybody I suggest you go find someone else"! They didn't want to deal with my issue and that they're really not making any money off of my small job, just go somewhere else. In the meantime, its been 2 weeks of waiting for them to show up, now I have to start the whole process over. Needless to say, I was shocked that a company would tell me to go somewhere else because they didn't make enough money on my job or want to deal with the situation, but in midsentence of trying to respond, he hung up on me! Mesa Awning does not stand behind their work. Word-of-mouth can be the best advertising and/or the worst advertising. I would never go to this company ever again and I will tell everyone I know not to use Mesa Awning. I looked at some other reviews and apparently the communication hasn't gotten better in 5 years. Also they dont clean up after themselves which is a big turn-off for anyone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your awning needs! read more

Had a new patio installed. Mesa installed a patio about 15 years ago and now a second one on the other side of the house. We needed fascia board replaced and they came and removed the original patio and then came back and reinstalled it. The work was completed in just a few hours. read more

Not only did I get a quote well within my budget, the installation was quick and perfectly done. I would definitely recommend them.

Extremely poor communication. No one contacts you to let you know if they're coming by to inspect, they just show up and leave and never say a word. I was never given an exact date of when the work would be done, just a general maybe time frame. When the work was finally done, it wasn't done correctly. The guys for some reason used the hose in my back yard and front yard and left them on. I did not discover this until 4 days later, so thanks for that. After all the hassle and expense, the roof leaks like a sieve and my patio floods when it rains. I called a week ago to let them know my roof leaks. A rude woman said someone would be out as soon as they could. I waited a week, called again and left a message, no response. I have an expensive leaky roof that they seem to be refusing to fix. I would avoid this company at all costs. read more

While my awning is gorgeous, the crew left a massive mess in my backyard. Plastic wrapping, screws, nails, multiple pencils. My backyard is gravel so it was extremely hard for me to find all of their mess before one of my dogs ate screws or plastic. Again, BEAUTIFUL awning that was built very quickly, but EXTREMELY messy crew. You'd think for a $3,500 awning they'd at least pick up after themselves. read more

We had a very good experience with Mesa Awning. After searching and getting bids from many companies this was fair priced and the turnaround time was only about 2 months. Ordered in October installed end of December right before Christmas. So, Merry Christmas ! It has been wonderful as the alumawood awning replaced a sun fabric awning over our patios that we had to have redone once during the past 20 years. Our main patio is about 12 X 20 and now we don't have to worry about our patio furniture getting baked by the sun or drenched in the rains. It also held up just fine during those big winds we had a month or two ago. Anyway, love it, looks great (actually beautiful !) , and happy we finally did it. read more

We had a custom alumiwood pergola installed in our back patio area. The guy was very helpful with recommendations for color and appropriate size for our patio/yard. Very happy with the price, quality, and the outcome! I would say the only area for improvement would be if someone looked at the HOA paperwork or gave more measurements with consideration to what the HOA would need. Hired Mesa Awnings to replace awnings over my front deck and carport due to hail damage. Mark came out and did a really poor job. He failed to secure several awning panels over my front door and the panels are too short on the carport side, allowing rain water to run down the side of my home. Mark left debris and patio furniture he moved but never moved back. He left without telling me or me approving the work. I asked Joan to run the costs on my credit card but she ran it as debt and drained my checking account. I ask that they return the funds to my checking account and rerun it as credit. Joan stated they can only run debit and not credit. Approximately 8 days later she credited my checking account with over $4400.00. I then sent a check for the total amount. When I complained about the shabby job Mark did, Joan wanted Mark to come back and fix his mess. I declined any further work to be done by Mark. They have not made any other attempts to resolve the issues. Highly unprofessional. I would not recommend. read more

I'm glad I contacted Mesa Awning to replace a dilapidated wood pergola in the center of our backyard with a much sturdier and weather resistant aluminum but wood-looking design. Not only did their price beat out a competitor by a substantial amount, but they were available to complete the job much sooner and their salesman helped guide me to a more aesthetic look that complements the surroundings. We've used Mesa Awning on three occasions. We've been extremely satisfied on all three occasions. First they built us a storage shed. That was probably back in the 1970's or 1980's. Then we wanted to move it to another location in our yard. That was in about 1998. They had to life it over our fence twice to get it to the other location. It survived with no damage. In fact it's still in great condition today. Then in the same year that they moved our shed we had them put up an awning for our new motor home. I'm amazed at how it has stood up to all the wind and dust storms we've had in Mesa. The strong wind did some damage to it at one time. A few years later we called on Mesa Awning again. The same owner, Bob Warrick, is still the owner. He fixed the damage perfectly. His workers are great craftsmen. I highly recommend him to anyone. He's ethical, honest, and expects good workmanship. read more
