Chris took the time to teach me the sprinkler system, how to program it, and took the time to write all of the zones down so I wouldn't be confused in the future. Look.... No matter the situation, when dealing with sprinkler systems and irrigation and water being where it shouldn't or water not being where it should, most of us are totally at the mercy of professionals. And that was exactly the situation we were in with our new home. In our case, while doing some pool equipment work, we found a pond of water sitting about 18 inches below our lawn surface. BAH!! Was it a water line leak? Sprinkler line leak? Pool line leak? What water related nightmare were we in for??? In a fit of panic, I called Valleyscape and a sprinkler pro was at my door in no time. Taylor came out to access the problem, we had an obvious leak in backyard but weren't sure if if was due to a broken PVC pipe or a long buried sprinkler head. I called his company today to explain a irrigation problem that I'm having. I spoke with Rachel. I do not live in the area and this is a rental property. So I need to explain the problem to see if it's something that they could help with. It's actually a very simple problem and seen it will do no difference than me explaining it. They absolutely refuse to talk to me about the problem and instead insisted that they had to send someone out to the property. Which again would make no difference. So after I left this review I get a call from someone at the company. I agree to give them a second chance and try to book an appointment and I push the appointment way out to accommodate my schedule and miraculously they have no availability 2 weeks from now. Why would you possibly turn business away? Seems like all he really wanted me to do was change my review to a positive rating which he asked me to do. Thanks, Valleyscape for locationing and repairing not one but two broken irrigation lines. I recently moved into my home and to my chagrin my water bills were twice as high as my previous residents. I contacted emwd regarding this matter and was advised to contact a professional irrigation company because they believed I had a broken water line. I called Valleyscape the receptionist was really nice she listened to my situation and assured me that their company could located my water leak and make the needed repairs. The Vallescape team arrived on time and upon minutes they discovered my broken line on the westside of my home. The repair price was more than fair I was impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and friendly service. I hired them again to install a proper irrigation system for my backyard interestingly enough, while installing the new lines they discovered that my old line was broken. I made an appointment with Terri who was very efficient and helpful. She called back after 4 minutes to say that Taylor would be at the house between 12:30 & 1:00 pm same day (I had called at 11:15 am). Taylor showed up at 12:25 and promptly got to work. He repaired and replaced several sprinkler heads (one with broken stem adaptor) and nozzle heads. He also adjusted the water flow and frequency for appropriate saturation and water conservation. I had set the program for frequent watering on short cyles and Taylor explained that less frequency with one longer saturation (5-6 minutes) early in the morning works best and saves water. He did such good work, I chose to give him a tip on top of his $100 quote and surprised to get an invoice for $90.. Pretty cool when you get a 10%+ discount without asking.
