Valleyscape is super professional, affordable and is not afraid to get dirty to get the job completed correctly. My husband recently contacted Valleyscape. We had a bad sprinkler system leak and a few other issues with two of our sprinkler heads. Taylor and his partner were clear with the repair costs and worked very quickly. We had some pretty icky standing water on the side of our house, so embarassing, ewww. Not anymore! They educated us on why we should also replace our shut off valve, something we had not even considered before but now makes perfect sense. I moved here last year and was new to the area and needed some sprinkler repair work done around my 1/2 acre property. I found this company thru Yelp after reading the wonderful reviews. I have used Taylor and Chris on four different occasions now and they do excellent work. I have been most pleased and would use no one but them. I am a Master Gardener and have a very large vegetable garden area with many terraces, a small vineyard area and an orchard. Taylor and Chris have added a water drip system to all which is wonderful ~ saves $ on water and saves me an hour of manual watering as well. They are both hard working and reliable. I got burned. Be sure to ask the price before they do the work. My repair guy sort of jokingly floated a couple of outrageous prices at me when he was near completion just to see if I would bite. Then hit me with a price of $275. He was at my house for around 2 hours for 2 sprinkler pipe repairs. One required some difficult (tight space) digging, the other was a basic repair. I think that I was overcharged around $100. I would not recommend this company and I did not appreciate their unethical business practices. We have had numerous contacts with Chris and I can say that our experience has been excellent. This review is in reference to our most recent situation. The municipal water company notified us of a major water leak this past week. We immediately notified Chris and asked for his help. As luck would have it, he was able to stop by within an hour. I waited a month after getting some work done by Valleyscape to do a review. I have to say, the work they did was excellent. I had Chris show up with a big smile, which he kept on his face the whole time he dug up my side yard. The problem I had, which ended up requiring far more digging than I wanted to undertake, was taken care of quickly and they got it right the first time. The price was very good considering how much labor a leaking PVC T can take to fix. They did in 3 hours what would have taken me about 6, and saved me about 6 trips to the hardware store too. If I could give this company a zero rating, I would. The technician was not very helpful at all. He told us what the problem was; however, he tried to price gouge us charging $525 to fix 3 leaking sprinkler valves (2 in the front and 1 in the back) and another $200 to repair the shut-off valve in the back. He made a lame excuse for using rainbird products when we specifically said we wanted to the Hunter brand. He tried to justify the high prices by hiding behind the quality of work. To add insult to injury, Valleyscape charged a fee of $95 for consultation when most irrigation companies offer free estimates. This is the worst company and they have awful technicians. Never will I use a company that I feel takes advantage of the customer. read more

Sunday 14th I returned home around 1:30pm and see water coming down my driveway. Like where is it coming from. Sprinkler is usually over at 8am. Water was coming from house drips controlled by one station. Hunter controller is not showing any stations running so I shut off irrigation valve and Hunter. Doing some checking I see where it is valve C9. I close valve knob and open shut off and Hunter. That worked. I call ValleyScape Sprinkler early on Monday 15th and then go out to purchase an 811 solenoid from HomeDepot. I return home, and see message from ValleyScape. Oh, and did I say it was like hot on Monday and hotter today. An appointment is set up for before noon on Monday. At 11:11am Chris arrives. To shorten this story there was a tiny piece of floating rubber in valve, which Chris removed and installed 811 solenoid. I turned on that single station at Hunter controller and drip water started and then shut off automatically after a minute setting. I was happy, Chris was happy to get back into his air conditioned truck by 12:00 noon and other than it being like really hot today life is good. We had several issues with our sprinklers, including how to set the controls, the water pressure on several of the lines and what we thought was a broken drip line. The gentleman from this company came out (I'm sorry we didn't get his name). He was very neat in his appearance and was wearing a Valleyscape Logo shirt. He assessed the issues that we had and fixed them all in less then an hour at an extremely reasonable price. The broken irrigation line turned out to be an end that had come uncapped. He adjusted the controls so that the sprinklers came on when we wanted them too and he adjusted the water pressure so that the lawn gets full coverage. Another company wanted to redo the entire sprinkler system because they said there were too many sprinkler heads on one line (the man from valleyscape assured us that this was not the case!). So we cannot say enough good things about this company, they were neat, prompt, reasonably prices and above all very honest! After repeatedly high water bills, with no apparent reason, we set out searching the sprinklers for leaks. We found a lot of water by our sprinkler valves, which were covered over by cattails. ( no wonder the cattails were thriving). I made a call to Valleyscape based on Yelp reviews and was greeted by a very friendly, helpful gal named Rachel. She set up for Chris to come out the next day. Chris came out and told me that we had to clear the cattails and weeds before he could begin any work, but he suggested we turn off our irrigation shut off until they could do the work. Unfortunately, we had no idea where or if we had that shut off valve. ( and Chris did look). It wasn't until my husband and I cleared the area and dug around, that we found the shut off. Yay! No wasting water while we waited for repair. I immediately called late Friday evening to request an appt for the following week. Monday morning I called and Rachel told me that Chris was booked, but she had received my call late Friday and booked Mike for the coming Friday. Mike showed up right on time and immediately got to work. Initial quote was nice, but unfortunately the mess he encountered was far more complex. Every step of the way, Mike would show me new leaks, broken pipes close to the wall of the house, and then finally 3 valves that were leaking. He replaced four, just in case ;)) I have to say, even though it was a bit more than we had budgeted, the amount of time, energy and back breaking work Mike put in was worth every cent! I had two sprinkler valves blow and decided to call Valleyscape based on the Yelp results. We were able to set up an appointment within a week. Taylor came out and was real professional. He quoted me a price that was reasonable. I decided to go with having all 6 valves replaced since I plan on selling my home in a few years. Only took them a few hours and they left the place looking great considering he had to dig a trench and rebury the sprinkler line. They even walked me through it for my approval afterwards.
