We stayed downstairs over my the shoes. They had alot of the Adidases and Nikes out and they look really nice, but alot of the other brands were kept in their warehouse and you must use the kiosk to request them to be brought out to try on. Once he did that I thought it would take awhile for them to go get them and hand them over, but it was maybe 5 mins or so and they were very polite about it. He tried two pair on and chose the pair that closely matched his uniform. He gave the other pair back and we took the other to the cashier, nothing to note about purchasing them, just fast and polite. Seems fine to me.

After asking open ended questions about my activity (which is just walking up to 7 miles at a stretch) she was able to ascertain what was the best shoe for me. After measuring my feet she found the perfect shoe and was most helpful in changing out the laces for once I do not have to lace (yes I am lazy what can I say). Management of 1st Place Sports really needs to commend Crystal for how she makes the customer feel that they are the most important one that she's ever had to work with. As a matter of fact, whenever I'm in the store, generally more than one employees always approaches me asking if I need assistance. There are certain things we shop here for on a regular basis. I only use Speedo swimming goggles and they have a nice selection here. While not cheap, hubby loves Under Amour for working out... sometimes they even have nice sales on it. And while they don't have a very large selection of Reef flip flops, they do have a decent enough selection that hubby can usually find a pair he likes.

They really have all that you need when it comes to tennis gear: shoes, strings, rackets, balls, bags, clothing, various other accessories for the racket, etc. They also can string and regrip your rackets here for $25 which isn't too bad. I recently was going a few times over the last couple weeks because they let me demo a couple of rackets since I was in the market for replacing my current one. They give you 10 days to demo and if you still want to go demo more you just bring them back within those 10 days and recheck out more if you so desire. I did finally end up picking a racket which I really like and I will continue going to this place to get it restrung and regripped in the future. The people here are always wonderful and helpful and I truly appreciate that.

We worked with Danielle (the owner), who was so thorough and knowledgeable. She had several pair of shoes to try on and gave great advice and fitting info, really listening to my daughter's preferences and truly making her feel special. The same thing happened with leotards - Danielle provided several options and checked in many times to see if we needed new sizing or other options. Truly a top notch store and experience and we will be doing all of our dance shopping here in the future!
