To make a long story short, they charged her around $600. for wiper blades, oil change, rotation and battery. This price even included coupons applied. This seems like excessive pricing to me. My car is 20 yrs old, regardless, what's outside the cap doesn't mean it's inside the oil pan? Also made me sign a waver to get an oil change, said it was overdue? Car had'nt been here before, I just moved here from out of town. Per owners manual, recommended service is every 5k, which was followed. I was then shown chunky oil from a dirty bottle ( maybe Gatorade) which was proof I needed a motor flush? Again, service my car regularly, no way that was from a 5000 mile service interval. A tech underneath had already started to drain my oil, then I was told name brand oil was not available.... Just a house brand? When I stated my disbelief, the service tech told me it was best that I never come back. In disbelief.... I asked for the manager, as she was the assistant manager.... all he could talk about was that I called his employee a liar? Simply because I wasn't ready to purchase an " up sell". He tried to show video footage, but again..... all it showed was a dirty bottle? When I asked for the owners contact info, I was told to leave.... then asked for the corporate contact, and was told I'd need to look it up. All of this was because I wanted the oil changed in my daughter's car.... This is the EXACT reason I take it in for her..... I wanted to support local business, but sadly I won't be back, I'll find service for my 4 vehicles elsewhere. Terrible service, rude employees, worst experience ever. Stripped out my oil drain plug. Stuck a temporary drain plug in. Then charged me over $100. I took…read moreit back to them. They accept no responsibility and put the same temporary drain plug back in it. The Big 5 service center on E. Marshall Ave. was superb on fixing the situation. They said clearly the other service center was at fault. They replaced the old drain plug with the right one and said to bring it back if anything else takes place. I still give the Loop 281 store a 1 because they are no longer recommended by me. The E. Marshall Ave. one definitely is!

Our mechanic was replacing our…read morepads and rotors today, and on the rear passenger wheel, 3 of the lug nuts were seized and snapped off while attempting removal. In 50+ years of changing tires, I have never seen such an issue. Whoever it was at Firestone must have put on these lug nuts so tight that it caused them to seize on the threads. As a result, more expense for us. This is far from the first issue we have had with these "technicians" at Firestone Longview. They are careless clowns.
