Valvoline Ross county Ohio We took our Nisan to get an oil change, pulled out and broke down. The intake hose was broken, the air filter was put in backwards was told while on the phone with corporate to replace the o2 sensors and everything else and pay for it, to send in the receipts for everything. We got called the next day saying they was at fault, and to go ahead and get everything and they would reimburse us. So we did and paid a mechanic to fix it. Then Neil the manger called being rude saying our mechanic was wrong and they wasnt paying for the 02 sensors (that they told us to replace) or paying for this and that. When we brought up we would contact a lawyer Neil decided to hang up on my mom. So far corporate hasn't been much help, and Neil the "long time mechanic " has been useless and rude. after and hour of waiting they finally came out said their card readers were down. I told the guy I would pay cash and to move the car in front of me out of the bay so I could pull in while they figured out what to do. Only to find out a synthetic blend oil change for my Ford Explorer was $72. AND the price only includes 5 qts of oil. mine takes 6. I had a coupon for $7 off and the guy said he didn't need it he would just put it in the system, which come to find out he didn't. SO $85 for an oil change I could have done at the ford dealer for $55 including tire rotation. NEVER AGAIN will I go to Valvoline Instant Oil Change!!! Rip Off!! read more

I've been getting my oil changed here for years. They are quick and efficient. They are always friendly and do a good job. It's a little expensive but overall I think it's worth it. If your check engine light is on they will check codes for you and they always try to answer any questions I have to the best of their ability. read more

Wow! Just wow! This place is amazing. Justin & Austin were wonderful. They were both kind and courteous. Very informative. The other employees also deserve recognition! They were quick and checked out everything for me. I was in and out within a few minutes. Normally, getting my oil changed makes me uncomfortable but I felt welcomed. Pulled in for an oil change on a busy Saturday, I realized that we were going to have to wait a bit. What I didn't realize that they were going to let 3 cars, all pulled In way after we did, one pulled in 30 minutes after us, and they got to go in ahead of us. The person who waited on us on was rude, told us he couldn't check our air filter because of rusty bolts, and didn't know how to change the wiper blades. Told me that it was my fault for getting upset, that they never check the order of cars (they have in the past). They also told us they accidentally drained transmission fluid instead of oil in the car 2 in front of us. The point of an oil change here is that it's quick and convenient but it no longer is and the staff was rude. The point of paying a little extra is quick and convenient, this was neither. Longtime customer who will never go to this location again. If you value your vehicle go elsewhere. read more

I have been going to Valvoline Lube on Bridge Street Chillicothe for awhile. They have always done a good Job. Have changed light bulbs for me. Today they aired tires up for my wife. been below freezing and air pressure was below 30psi. Courtesy that I appreciate. read more

I will never go back to this location as they messed up my 2015 Hyundai Elantra. I called and followed all the direction that I was given by the Store Manager and when I took it to a Mechanic they disregarded what he told them and wouldn't take responsibility for their screw up. I have been waiting over a week for the Area Manager to call me and that obviously isn't going to happen. I had been going there for years and all i expected was for them to fix what they messed up. Now I have to pay out of pocket for something that was proven by a Certified Mechanic to have been their fault. read more

On our road trip we stopped at a rest area, then I started the car and got a warning on the dash the the passenger side low beam headlight was out, it was too late on a Sunday to find any place, so when we stopped at our hotel in West Virginia, I looked for a quick oil change place where we were figuring that would be the fastest for a light bulb chain but we would have to back track, so I looked at what decent size cities we would be traveling thru or near and saw Chillicothe, OH, I Googled quick oil change Chillicothe, OH and this shop came up and had good reviews. So the next morning, we got up early, and started heading home with a burnt out headlight hoping not to get pulled over for that headlight as it was still dark. We got to this Valvoline around 8:00AM, wish I could remember the bearded gentlemen's name, he was awesome. Even though my car will show on dash any lights that are burned out, the shop checked all the lights, had me hit the brakes, high beams and turn signals to be on the safe side. They were quick, and if you look to your left when you are in the bay sitting in your car, they have computer screens so you can see what the employees are doing under the hood and also if you get an oil change a second screen shows what they are doing underneath your vehicle. We just needed the headlight replaced. As I said they were quick and awesome and I paid a lot less than what I thought I was going to pay. Highly recommend this Valvoline. read more

It's tough to find a quick lube place that can accommodate my 25' long and 13.5' tall motorhome, so I like to make a point to review the places that have made it happen. These guys were totally willing to get me in the bay (no go) but went ahead and did the service outside of the bay. Totally nice, professional and, of course, accommodating! read more
