Staff was very friendly but unfortunately not professionals. After an oil change, I was told my oil pan was pliable and needed changed right away. They said a rock could jump up and puncture it So I waited a week without the car, bought the parts and took them to my mechanic. He called and said he was hitting it hard with a ball peen hammer and it was not leaking and was still in good working condition despite the rust. The change of the pan and gasket were not necessary. I spent the money (not necessary) on the parts so I just had him do the job anyway. Next time I will use a different company and check with my mechanic before I buy any parts. I don't believe they were lying to me. I just believe they were not capable to make a professional decision other than the oil change. Due to my mechanic explaining everything I believe they stepped outside their training and knowledge in their area. Total cost of the mistake, $640.00 labor and the cost of the parts (around 100.00 dollars) My mechanic also called to complain to the manager. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I took my car for an oil change 2 days ago and as I was driving to work the low oil pressure light came on then it completely stalled. A nice man pushed me in neutral to a parking lot and then he said "there is a pile of oil on the ground". After getting towed to the dealership, it was found that they put the wrong oil filter in and that it caused catastrophic engine failure! Fast oil change. Call ahead and they'll send you a coupon via text. Total $36.99 for an oil change on a small car. Beware: check your own air and cabin air filters before you go along with wipers cause they'll tell you they need replacing; just to make more $ off of you. As soon as I drive out of there I park and get out and check the oil level myself to make sure it was filled to its correct level, therefore avoiding a horror story'. Going to Valvoline for my oil change saved me a ton of time and was honestly one of the best customer service interactions I've had in months (or honestly years). Do not recommend. I was with my friend and her husband when she got her oil changed today. The technician came by and didn't have his mask on properly. My friend (A MEDIC) politely asked him to put his mask on properly (it wasn't covering his nose) while speaking with her. He said he would not because he "couldn't breathe." She said (again, politely) that him wearing it the way he was wearing it wasn't doing any good and that it would be for both of their safety he fixes his (she was wearing one). He again refused. She said "that's okay, will you please send someone over who can wear their mask properly." And he YELLED AT HER "I'M THE MANAGER." It was super confusing. Then he questioned why her husband (who was in the car and well more than 6' from the manager) wasn't wearing a mask. She said "he's more than six feet from you." But her husband put on his mask. Boom, no issue right? Did the guy put on his mask? No! so she responded "please send someone over who can wear their mask properly when speaking with me." He yelled at her that he wasn't going to do that and stormed off. He then yelled ACROSS THE SHOP that she could be more polite. WHAT?! She was polite and HE was the one who YELLED at HER all for making a simple request to wear the mask properly. SHE'S LITERALLY A MEDIC Y'ALL. anyway, don't go here. I won't. read more

I chose Valvoline because I was in a rush and had no open availability to schedule with our typical mechanic. I went in for an oil change, and after checking wait times via their automated call-in service, was expecting to wait 10-15 minutes to be served. 45 minutes later, I'm told that I need a certain type of oil that would cost me nearly triple the typical amount we pay elsewhere. Because I was in a rush and my crying baby was in the car with me, I skeptically agreed. Over $100 and 24 hours later, my car starts to splutter and my check engine light comes on. I take it in to my normal mechanic, who says it could be an expensive engine issue or it could be the oil the Valvoline tech used. $800 later, it turned out to be the oil. I reached out to Valvoline to discuss my experience and get a possible refund and apparently, unless I physically walk in to the building, no customer service is available. It should be noted that I was never emailed a receipt for my oil change at Valvoline, and the sticker they put on my windshield was 4K miles lower than my actual mileage. The tech that changed my oil was supposedly a lead, but this is my treatment as a customer. I cannot and never will recommend Valvoline (this location specifically) to anyone. read more

I had a valid coupon for an oil change for 15.99. Doesn't expire til August and my car can use the conventional oil which that coupon is for. I called and verified that fact and then headed over. Upon arrival, Cordell informed me that the coupon code didn't work and he would have to charge me 30 dollars. I explained that the coupon was not expired and I just got it last week and he would not honor the price. He wanted me to come back next week for a sale they will be having. My 17 year-old took it upon himself to get his own oil change in his Honda Civic....this was a few months ago and at the time thought everything was done properly...yesterday, my son performed his own oil change with the help of a mechanic friend....lifted the hood for the first time since the last oil change at this Valvoline location...my son discovered the transmission cap was never put back on the reservoir, which caused the fluid to leak out all over the engine...thankfully, there was still a little left in the reservoir, which kept the transmission from burning up and costing us thousands to repair....how would we have ever proved that Valvoline was responsible? We wouldn't have had any luck. I will never return to this location. Watch taking your car to these places that claim fast and stay in your car. Never know what they might forget to do and the error could end up costing you thousands of dollars read more
