Stopped in for an oil change on Saturday. All 3 bays were full and one other car waiting in front of me. I wish they would have told me is going to be roughly X amount of wait. I did wait for 20 minutes before I got pulled into the middle bay. There was a $10 coupon on the website which I used on my service. One of the latches on the hood was missed, so I did have to pull over on the way home to relatch it. read more

My name is Jamie Campbell, and I was in Valvoline 1200 Plainfield Ave Ne for an oil change on March 24. On Wednesday April 15, I made it half way to my morning work commute, and broke down on the side of the road. I called to have my car towed to an Auto Shop, and Thursday morning got a call saying "Your engine is totally shot, your engine was bone dry, and your vehicle is beyond repair." Thursday evening I opened my car garage, and saw the Valvoline oil filter, and all my car oil on my garage floor. When I called yesterday morning on April 17th, the manager seemed indifferent and uninterested in what I had to say, and told me he would call me back. It is now April 18th and I have not heard a word back yet. My car was perfectly fine, and now I have to make arrangements to get it towed to a junk yard. Very professional, honest and friendly people here! I came here for an oil change (based on a recommended mileage/date given to me by a different business), but after my car and oil was assessed by Venn and Chad, I was informed that I didn't need one for probably another 1,000 miles. I appreciated their honesty and patience with me since this was my first time at this location (and actually, my first oil change)! Chad took the time to explain how to read the oil stick and what different options of oil for my car. A friend came here before me and had a good experience, hence why I decided to try this location compared to the other shops in the area. Since August 2016, I have been taking my car only to one place for regular service: Integrity Quick Lube #0001 (formerly Sparkling Image Lube #0001). In each of my 11 visits, they have always given me great service and products, as well as a complementary wash and wax after each visit. I came here after being fed up with my dealership and after hearing positive feedback from friends. The $6 off coupon I found online was also very enticing. The manager (Angel Grey) explained everything she was doing and was very through with her inspection. Best customer service from a car place I've received! I go here all the time. These people are super friendly and knowledgable. The wait is usually pretty short, just pull up to the bays and they will direct you in when they are ready for you. I especially recommend for women who get nervous going to places like this as the general manager is a woman who knows her stuff. read more

Lance showed us the different advantages of using mobile coupons and speedy reward cards and provided us with awesome friendly service at a fast pace! DO NOT CHANGE YOUR OIL HERE. We have a 2015 GMC that requires full synthetic. Had a sensor go on transmission mechanic asked where we get our oil changed...didn't switch places because we thought they were reliable. Fast forward 6 months and a couple oil changes the car started running like CRAP took to mechanic again. Not a DROP of oil was left in car...no leaks. Mechanic replaced oil drove to valvoline asked if the code on our sticker meant full synthetic they said no...he said these vehicles require that they back pedaled said it was full but there was a B on the code which rings blend. read more

Went in for oil change here because there was a $15 off coupon. I opted out on all the extra services they were pushing (transmission oil change, air filter, etc.). They were friendly but that's the last time I'll ever go there because of their incompetence. My maintenance light came on so I took it to an auto repair shop where they told me that the last people who changed the oil (Valvoline) stripped the thread. They quoted me $600 including parts and labor for a new oil pan because they said if its not replaced, my engine could blow up at any time while I'm driving. Valvoline destroyed my car, wasted my time and money, and putting my safety at risk. Needless to say, it wasn't worth the $15 coupon. I had a terrible experience. The worker tried to convince me to spend $90 on an oil change without a significant reason. He was trying to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge to get me to buy more expensive oil. He made me feel like I made the wrong decision by purchasing the $43 oil change when my car manual states that only standard oil is necessary. I would not recommend this site. read more

No problems with the service, very efficient. However, I can't imagine why the older attendant got such a chip on his shoulder when I requested we leave out my home address from the information page on his computer screen. His attitude was very sarcastic stating out loud at one point "it's gonna be one of those days". I've declined to provide my home address at other similar places and it's never been a big deal. Just trying to avoid junk mail. Made things very awkward and uncomfortable. Will not return. read more

Fast and friendly service. Been here twice, once with my partner who is black and once on my own as a young woman. Everyone was entirely helpful and friendly both times. I often feel uncomfortable at places like this because men seem not to take me seriously or just ignore me as much as possible and, in this area in particular, being an interracial couple can lead to poor treatment. They would not offer me the cheapest oil option until I kept asking for it. If I did not know better, I would have wasted about $30 buying a more expensive oil option. Even after asking for the cheaper option I was told repeatedly by the oil changing person that he does not recommend the cheapest option, even though I have never had this problem at any other oil change location. Furthermore, they told me my transmission fluid was "bubbling." Because of this, I went to a separate place to have that checked. At the separate location, where I was actually shown the fluid, I was informed that my fluid is a transparent red and free of bubbles. Because of this lie (or possibly mistake), I wasted an hour and a half of my day figuring out if my transmission fluid was bubbling or not. On top of all of this, I was told that my wheels are extremely flat and need to be realigned; this is funny because less than 3,000 miles ago I had my wheels realigned and I was informed at the separate place I went to that there was nothing wrong with my tires. It seems that these Valvoline employees were hellbent on up selling me, even if it meant they had to lie. I will probably never go to a Valvoline location again after this horrible experience. read more
