I had the worst automotive experience with Mitchell Kenny I've ever had in my life here. I was sitting in my car while they changed my oil, any general maintenance. Whatever was necessary. It was $200+ when I left. VW V6. When their employee lifted my hood to change my oil, apparently for their employee purposes, they don't trust the factory hood hold. So they add their own additional suspension poles. The employee dropped the pole that left two pinky like finger prints on the passenger side of the front panel. If you can't picture it, they were Apple pie crust sculpted damage to the the front of my car. They discredited me as I was sitting in my own car & the damage happened. Wouldn't let me view the video. Would only let me go to their auto body shop. I would recommend any other shop except a valvoline related within a 40 mile radius before them. read more

Went 2 months ago for an oil change on my truck that I bought recently. Few days ago took my truck into a garage and the mechanic asked why I had oil all over underneath my vehicle. Where do I start?! Normally I do all of my own vehicle maintenance on anything I drive that isn't new or warrantied with a service plan. I was trying to save time and money as I had a $10.00 coupon in my email and was leaving for a trip the next am and very very busy. Thought having them change my oil would save me time and money. Huge mistake. First, I got home from the service and after parking my car for a few hours and moving it forward there was a giant oil spot under the car and it smelt like burning oil. Then I noticed my tire was flat. They sent a tec to my house who said that when they checked the air pressure they broke the valve stem, on a brand new tire. Then they said the oil filter was possibly lose and that's why it leaked. I was assured I was good to go. I then drove 4 hours and smelt oil on the way there. I stopped checked the oil and it was full. I parked at a parking garage to come out to see a large pool of oil under my car draining into the middle of the parking garage where I was lectured by security about the mess. I went to a local service station who said my vehicle had several quarts too many of oil and possibly have burnt out valves and the oil was completely foamy from over filling. Now here I sit, again at Valvoline trying to resolve the issue in the car I've never once had a problem with until bringing it here. First photo is the oil in my driveway second is the parking garage. I went from trying to save time, to costing me 2 days of messing around, 4 extra stops to check my oil and go to a local expensive service station and now worrying about engine issues after this. Update: just left Valvoline, they stated that the oil plug is now missing the gasket on the plug which probably happened when they initially changed the oil. I'm still quite annoyed in the time and inconvenience this has caused. However the manager Kalisha was very polite, professional and did her best to make things right. I am just hoping for no future issues from the over filled oil. read more

Got amazing service there today! Kenny, the manager was extremely helpful and his crew was very efficient. They flushed my transmission because it was slipping. It's an old truck, but I figured it was worth a shot. It worked! Kenny was kind enough to even use the computer to check my "check engine light" and see what the problem was. It was just a loose gas cap! Couldn't be happier, will definitely be using these professionals again, as I have for years already! read more

I was on a road trip and in a pinch for an oil change. So this place was the closest so I figured I'd give it a chance. I arrived 10 minutes before opening and was promptly greeted by one of the employees letting me know they would be opening in a few minutes. Doors opened at 8am and I pulled in. Jess the manager greeted me inside and discussed the oil change options and the work quickly started. Fluids were topped off, and air pressure in the tires were checked as another teammate was changing the oil below. Air filters, wipers checked and replacement recommended as they do at all places but this time with a genuine recommendation rather than a scripted "it's dirty you need a new one." All of this happen with military precision guided by the manager Jess. When all said and done, the oil change was done in 14 minutes and with payment and a coupon used I rolled out in 18 minutes. I have honestly never seen this level of professionalism and customer service in the quick oil change industry or most Fortune 500 companies. Impeccable service! And an impeccable experience. I can't rate 0 stars . I went to this location for an oil change and inspection . After an expected 45 minute wait to get in the bay and the oil change has been done ( gave the tech guy a coupon they sent me in the mail) I was ushered to wait outside while they did the inspection. A different tech person care out and said my vehicle failed due to a brake fluid leak and the parking brake was locked up . I pointed out there was no prior leak , that there was no fluid spots in the parking lot anywhere i had parked or driven when I got there. I drove home slowly since there were no brakes .I contacted management and was told that in order to test the brake system they don't start the car and check brakes but instead connect a booster to the master cylinder and pressurize the brake system that way . This booster has blown out 3 brake lines and locked up the braking brake cables. They also caused damage to the quarter panel on the side where the tire was removed to check brake pads ,etc. I contacted corporate office and explained everything . I was told someone would contact me. That was 2 weeks ago and no one has called me.I have since taken the car to a auto repair shop to get the brakes and parking brake repaired and was told it will be close to $800. This doesn't include the damage they caused to the quarter panel. I contacted corporate again about this situation and was told once more ".. someone will be in touch ..." Terrible service. I was lied to and lied to and lied to. I cannot afford a lawyer or court costs or I would sue them for damages. I have no alternate vehicle to get to work because of what this " service station" has done and they said it's thier fault but fail to correct it. update : it took to posting on yelp to finally get a response . basically it's my fault . interesting how brake lines that were replaced 2 years ago were so badly rusted they blew out under pressure. There was no damage to my car even though i have photos. lies lies lies . interesting how no one could bother to contact me until I posted here . Have been going to the valvoline for over 3 years. Mostly because it has a female manager and as a female I have always felt protected and heard. Today I was there for 45 minutes waiting the entire time and asked to move and switch bays 3 times.... because they kept changing their minds. I finally left when prompted to move back and change lanes for the fourth time. If you don't know what lane to put me in how do I know you're not going to mess up my car. When I leave a place that offers exceptional customer service, I always feel compelled to come home and give them a rave review. Doesn't happen often these days. But today I was very impressed with the professionalism and service I received here today! Oil change, fluids, air pressure, lights and wipers check etc. Everything was done very efficiently and honestly. It helps I know a thing or two about cars and they never pushed me on something I didn't really need (tire rotation: because my tires are shot anyways and I am getting new ones in the spring, and air filter: when they pulled it out it was barely dirty and I know what a bad one looks like)...I was very impressed by how quick and thorough they were and also let's not forget FRIENDLY and courteous. I will definitely be utilizing their services for all my car needs. I was given the rundown of the services they offer (as I've never been a valvoline girl and have done oil changes myself), which some people see as a sales tactic, but I see it as being thorough and informative.
