When I stepped in to point out that the "new tire" was obviously older and not new, I was shouted at and told that my son needed to avoid potholes and that the wheel was "too damaged" to accept a new tire. When told that was untrue and that his story had now changed, he admitted his shop scammed my son but that it was a different employee who lied and we weren't getting a new tire through them unless we bought a new wheel.
