I have been bringing my 2005 Acura TL here for service for many years. Although I did not purchase my car here, I was always treated with respect and provided the best in service. I specifically would like to mention Charles Lakhan who was recently promoted to Service Manager. He is always very responsive to my needs, ensured i understood the work required and was very personable too. Not all repairs were critical on my car audit report and Charles did not try to pressure me into excessive repairs. My car was always washed / vacuumed and I had access to a loaner if necessary. I have had other service advisors like Tom Sobiel who are also excellent. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years as my car now has over 234k miles. I love the car but the service experience keeps me coming back even though I live 45 minutes away. I have used many other dealers for car service and none compare Ramsey Acura. Unfortunately Corp Acura has not kept up the design / quality of current Acura's so I will not buy a new one. That's too bad because I will miss the level of service here. read more

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Horrible. I went almost two weeks ago looking for my first Acura. I was interested in an SUV that they had in their showroom. Mike the salesperson was VERY nice and helpful (he should go to another dealer). The car I was looking at has an MSRP of $44,000. There was NO sticker on the window to know that at the time. When mike went to speak with STU the manager he came back with an EXTREMELY high price of $696 per month with $1500 down and $12K miles a year for a lease. Are you insane? I even told him I'm a teacher and don't make TONS of money, they obviously did not car and have no respect for teachers. They also did not accept my father's first responder who is NYPD (how disrespectful). ALSO they knew my family who had done business there prior (who no longer go here because of this) and did not want to even budge on the price. The next day I went to Park Ave and with the same stipulations the price was $507/month. They completely inflated the price at Ramsey. Stu came to speak with me and my dad, he was so insincere and talked down to us. I was insulted that he thought we were that stupid to pay that price. About a week later, Mike (salesman) called me and asked how my car shopping was going. I told him what Park Ave offered me and he said he will speak to his manager (I'm assuming Stu) and get right back to me. Did I hear from him? No. Later that evening, the one and only Stu calls me but I was working and called him about an hour later. I was greeted with "IM WITH A CLIENT ILL CALL YOU RIGHT BACK!" Did he ever call me back? No. I highly recommend AVOIDING Ramsey Acura! They could have had a new customer and my family who all drive Acura but we are ALL steering clear of this shit hole read more

We bought our car this morning and our sales rep was Zak Assaf. He made the whole experience a very pleasant one. He explained everything very thoroughly, worked with us on our budget and helped us set up insurance. He made sure the buying process was not stressful for us at all, which we really appreciated. Beware. Typical car dealer B.S. Tried to change the price at the last minute and slip in other charges. Didn't change the oil before selling me the car as promised. The car had undisclosed damage. I worked with one of the dealers and we settled on a price of $11,700 (the car was listed for around $12,700). I was financing pre-approved at 4.69% but they asked to me let them see if they could beat that. There were some nicks and scrapes on the bumper that I was going to have fixed but they said they would do that. They also said they would change the oil. When I set down to close the deal The price was now the $12,700 price, they had run the financing through Bank of America on their part at a HIGHER interest rate, they had slipped in over $500 of "gap insurance", you know, to help me out. When I get the car home I find that the oil hasn't been changed and there's damage to the front grill work which was obviously done by their cheapo car painting guy. I had originally gotten a better feeling with these guys that I have from some of the other dealers in the area, but they prove themselves to be your typical B.S. car salesman just like all the rest. read more

Excellent customer service. Had my girlfriend's car towed in on a Sunday due to a dead battery. We came in as soon as they opened Monday morning and told them we had to be at work. The service team told us they would get everything done right away. They installed a new battery and replaced a tire which had a nail in the sidewall. The cost on the tire was very fair, but we had the tire and wheel warranty (I didn't know my gf had it) so they did it for free. Fast and courteous. Most car dealer service departments are terrible, but these guys did a great job. read more

Bad customer service. Brought in a car for service- They charged me $578 saying there was nothing wrong but just for checking it. There was actually something wrong with my car. DO NOT BUY ANY ACURA CAR HERE!! Update 11/25/2015 I mailed them a certified check as they would not give in. Mailed it in over 3 weeks ago to ROBERT COHEN at Acura of Ramsey. He would not answer any email after i mailed in the check letting me know he has it. Got proof from the bank that the check was cashed. I called Robert and told him this. - He HUNG up on me. Really? this is how you treat a customer? After I pay you cannot have the common courtesy to email me back saying you have the check and if I call you hang up on me??? Who in there right mind would purchase a $35,000 car from them? read more

Always very friendly service and prices are very reasonable for a dealership. They also get the job done in a relatively fast manner. Most importantly, I trust them to properly diagnose any problem and not try to get me to do a service I do not need. read more

Not surprised to read other people's review and see that they as well as me have been lied to by Ramsey Acura. I came in to have service done on my car and decided to speak to a sales person because my lease would be up in 6 months. They told me they had this program called the 6 MONTHS PULLOUT PROGRAM in which acura would pay the remaining 6 months payments on my current lease and I could lease a new car. At the time my current payment for my old lease had just posted to my bank account because I had auto payments set up. I explained to them that I'm in no rush That I don't mind waiting until the end of the month since I just made a payment. Barry explained to me that as long as I bring in my old car and make the first payment towards my new lease that all I needed to do was call the bank and explain to them that I signed a new lease and that I returned the car and that I shouldn't have a problem getting my money back. Huge mistake taking their word!!!! Well I called the bank and they told me it's not a 6 months program it's ONLY 3 MONTHS. The bank would pay the last 3 payments on my old lease and if the dealer had promised me 6 payments they should be responsible for the extra 3 payments. Now it turns out Ramsey only wants to pay 2 months so I'm stuck paying for that extra month when I'm not even using the car! I spoke to the manager Charles which was beyond RUDE didn't even want to listen to my situation! Just kept repeating "we did the best we could". HORRIBLE! I already filed a complaint with ACURA and reported Charles, Barry and Elio. So sad this is how they treat you after being a loyal customer for 4 years. I will definitely find a new Acura dealership! Also they manipulate the scoring system to get their bonus by telling the client how to score them! Instead of letting the client give their own honest opinion! read more

Never delt with sales here, but service has always been great with Keith. He really helps you out and only suggests services you actually need. I once had another advisor who kept telling me my repair was going to take an hour, it ended up taking 4. While the repair was in process, I kept requesting a loaner car and he kept suggesting a shuttle service. Very annoying. Bottom line use Keith as service advisor and everything will go well. Too bad I sold my Acura. read more

Had my 2008 TL serviced at Ramsey Acura or Acura of Ramsey (whatever) since 2009. Never a bad service and never felt pressured by Danny Rivera for added service that was not needed. My car currently has 112k miles on it and runs like new!!! Make an appointment in advance and you WILL have a clean, close to brand new, loaner of your choosing for the day, or how ever long your service takes. Danny will not steer you wrong and he will make sure your service is completed to your satisfaction before he calls you to pick up your car. I don't agree that Park Ave Acura service is top notch. My car had service with oil change done there. I noticed that the car was not driving as well as before and "check oil " started to flash. Guess what ? The mechanic there put two (2) quarts of oil to little( no leaks ).This is new Acura purchased from them . read more

Been taking my MDX for service to this location for the past 4 years. I found their service recently to be questionable and dishonest. Incident #1: took my car for an oil change 2 years ago. Sales rep informs me that I needed to change my transmission fluid. Told the sales rep that this is impossible since I got my transmission fluid changed a year ago in another dealership. Could tell the rep was embarrassed by the incident and he proceeded to show me the fluid looked dirty and admitted it was subjective. I let it go and figured it was an isolated incident. Incident #2: took my car in for oil change and brake service today. Sales rep tells me I needed to change front brake pads and replace front rotors since it's been cut several times. Told the rep that it's impossible since I got my rotors replaced 2 years ago and this is the only time servicing the front brakes since I got them replaced (less than 7,000 miles in 2 years). Sales guy proceeded to tell me that they go by previous record. I asked shouldn't they do the proper analysis (like measuring rotor) before recommending? Needless to say, I will no be utilizing the service department again. read more

They had a special for a full detail for a total of $171 after taxes so I decided to try it out. I was skeptical of getting a detail at a dealership but they offered me a loaner for the day so I could not complain. I must say the service was amazing! I had old laundry detergent in my trunk that was unable to come up, the guys cleaned it up and it looked brand new again. I also had a horrible stain on my passenger side window, I have tried washing it plenty of times, they were able to remove it completely! Only reason why I give them 4 stars is I had to have a down payment for the loaner which is a hold up to 30 days! Nonetheless overall experience was great! read more

Brought in 2013 MDX for standard oil change/tire rotation. While waiting, service consultant said the tech. inspected the vehicle and the differential fluid needs to be changed. OK the service. Came home and checked my wife's last scheduled maintenance sheet (from a different dealer) and the differential fluid was ALREADY changed out last time. Called back to the consultant and his defense was "the marking on the bolt indicated that it has not been turned and so we assumed it was not changed." I said that seems superficial. Wouldn't the tech. verify that the fluid being drained is still clean from last change. They would not credit the service. Poor customer service. read more

Horrible service and very unprofessional. Don't go here to get your car serviced and if do decide to go.. take before and after picture of your car inside out and/or make a note of any damages you have with the service person before handing them your keys. I dropped my car off for oil change and they found some issues with the car so they had to keep the car for the weekend. When I got the car back the driver leather seat was ripped and had long slashes (probably from screw driver). When I told them about it, the service person initially came back said this damage was there already. So I spoke to the manger who got the service person who worked on the car and asked him who admitted that the damage was not there and it was cause by him. So the manger told me that he would call me back after he speaks to the director. After no phone calls from him for about a week, I call him and he tells me that Acura will not take the responsibility of the damage cause the car is old and the leather was dry and damage was already there and no proof that it was caused by us. I told him that your service man had admitted to the damage and so the manager now claims that he never admitted to the damage. On top of all that the manager was yelling at me when I said the damage was not there and if you thought car is old and leather is damaged then why didn't your service man take precautions before getting into my car. And he had nothing to say to that.. I don't recommend this place unless you want more headache to come back with the car after you just had it serviced. read more
