I got an oil change and they didn't try to sell me any other unnecessary services or products. They explained to me the process of the oil change and other services I may need in the future. I keep coming back because the convenience of not having to get out of your car can't be beat. They do all the basic checks and it's pretty quick, even if there's a car or two in front of you. I first want to start by saying that I have been coming to this location for years and have always enjoyed the superior service that I've received from the mechanics. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. This review is for a mechanic is particular. Today I came in for an oil change and I obviously could have went somewhere else and paid way less but since I enjoy the customer service at this location so much I decided to go here for my oil change. Today they had a new guy by the name Moe working on my car (not sure on the correct spelling it's either Moe or Mo). He seemed nice but I noticed a few times that some of the other workers had to step in and help out with a few things that he either made a mistake on or had a question about which I did not mind and completely understood since he's new. Well after I left I went home for a few hours and when I got back in my car I noticed my engine light was on. This was very odd since my light was not on before I took it in. This vehicle is a 2018 and has 72000 miles on it and also I just recently had a complete diagnostic check from Firestone and was told there were no issues with my vehicle. Not only is my engine light on but also at times when I am at a stop light my car jerks and also slows down when I accelerate which is extremely concerning since it did not do this before. I took it back up to Valvoline and they checked to make sure there were no loose caps and that the oil stick was still full but somehow they were unable to determine why my car started experiencing issues after my oil change. I am beyond pissed because after paying $96 for an oil change I now have to pay an additional $160 for another diagnostic check just to be told that I have to kick out an extra few hundred dollars to repair whatever issue was caused after my oil change. If anyone decides to go to this location I would recommend any of the other mechanics but not Moe! That man will NEVER be allowed under the hood of my car ever again!!!!!!! Smh read more

I took my New pickup for an oil change here at Valvoline the service wasn't the greatest and as soon as I drove off I didn't feel well about that and they charged me for an air filter they never replaced!!!! Soon after the oil change my pickup started leaving oil stains all over my driveway!!! to my disappointment I discovered that the oil filter Valvoline put on is leaking, and pretty much has leaked ALL the oil out!!! thankfully I discovered this before I blew out my engine on a brand new truck!! And hopefully this doesn't create other issues in the future because of this!!! I'm very disappointed! Not to mention who's going to clean all the oil or replace my driveway? Now I have to take it back in someplace DEPENDABLE to get oil/oil filter changed/fixed read more

Not too impressed with their service as I had to wait in the outside lanes and no one greeted me. After minutes of waiting I pulled in for my oil change. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Did the standard safety lane check items, turn signals, head lights, talk lights, etc. Asked about wipers. Service was sort of slower than in the past even with 3 techs working in the bays. Once I paid and left I looked over the receipt again. Under "Washer Fluid" it says Added, and yet the low level light is still on in my truck. This is ok because I like to use the RainX fluid in stead of the cheap blue stuff. But it brings be to question if they even did in fact check are the other fluid levels or tire pressure. They indicate on the receipt 36psi all around and yet my TPMS says otherwise. Sure might seem trivial and a small mistake but again just leads me to question their service practices, or trying to upsell items that your dont need or are not replaced after all. read more

Overall, a good spot to get a quick oil change. It's nice to just sit in your car while everything gets done. There does seem to be some turnover so every once in awhile, they may forget to check some lights. Pretty solid though. read more

I really feel confident going here for my oil changes. I get to see everything they're doing, and they explain it all as they go. I asked about the air filter, expecting to have to change it, but they said the current one is fine. So nice to know they aren't wanting to trick me into buying what's not needed! Integrity and honesty are rare qualities these days, and the folks here have it. The oil changes are a bit pricey, but I watch for coupons, and that takes the cost down to affordable. Their Covid protocols are standard. Masks, gloves. Though I was dismayed that they don't require customers to mask up when outside their car or when their window is down. We had ours on, though, so at least we had our side of the protection equation. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. This place has horrible technicians and managers. They do not know what they are doing. They installed my oil filter wrong and the seal broke. Caused my vehicle to leak oil over time and almost internally destroyed my engine. Then they had the audacity to not pay me back for going to my Nissan dealership even though the technicians and managers told me too. Apparently you have to go through them said the service manager. SO DUMB! Waste of money and technicians. FIre them. read more

I arrived today for my long overdue oil change. As I sat for a short bit, I discovered that a different bay became available, but someone else had pulled to that one after I arrived. Valvoline was awesome in that they had me switch spots with the other driver so I could get done sooner. Bravo! This is the first time I have seen anything like this, but it makes me feel like my valuable time is appreciated. Valpak currently has a $10 coupon for an oil change, so grab that to make this an afforable visit. Every time I come here, the staff are friendly, and knowledgeable, which is always appreciated. They do not try to sell me anything I do not need, so good on them. Kelsey is awesome. Their consistent attitude and performance is why I keep coming back. Came through with a coupon from another store that used Valvoline oil. Clearly I was confused by the bad printing of the offer but the service attendant still was able to give me a 10% off discount for the confusion! Friendly service and they work while you're in your car. It takes a little longer to go here but they're always able to get you in. read more

I come here regularly now for battery, oil changes, tranny fluids, tire rotations, the works! The guys are knowledgeable, quick, and honest. My air filter was near brand new despite me asking to get it replaced, they showed me that it was clean and he fabric still soft and absorbent and that it didn't need it. Showed me the colors of the oil and the battery health levels via their scans, very transparent and only try and sell you what you really need! Not to mention great with kids, guys were so friendly and offered my little one a sucker and explained what they were doing to the car! Returned after oil change because my car said my tire pressure was still low, and I was concerned it wasn't checked. Rather than rechecking they told me I was mistaken and all were filled the day before. Checked myself at the gas station across the street- all were low, one very low. Friendly, but poor customer service. read more

Stopped by this location on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. I was told that they were out of the oil that my vehicle requires, a basic 5w 30. The gentleman did not ask if i required standard or synthetic oil, just said they were out as soon as i pulled into the lot. I was hoping to avoid going back to the dealership to have a simple oil change but i find it even harder to recommend an oil change business that cannot provide their basic service during normal hours of operation. I usually hate taking my car in to get an oil change because people always try to sell me unnecessary stuff. Not only were the guys there really friendly, but they recommended a cheaper oil than the last place I went and didn't try to sell me any extras! Very disappointed with this location. It's the closest to my house and therefore has been the most convenient. The last two times I have tried to get my oil changed here they have been out of my oil filter. Neither time did they make an effort to try to accommodate me as they have in the past by trying to locate a filter for me by either making a run to another location or having one delivered (which the have done in prior years, as I have been going to this location for over 4 years) I'm not sure if it's a management change or what is going on over at that location but it is very disappointing. I could take my business elsewhere and pay less for the service, but I have chosen Valvoline in the past because it's quick and convenient, don't even have to get my kiddos out of the car they are so quick. This last time I was directed to their Millard Location. I really needed my oil changed that day and didn't have the time to wait the 3 days they told me it would take to order and get in my filter. So on to Millard I went, they took VERY GOOD care of me there, see my review of that location. I will be driving out of my way from now on to go to the Millard location. read more
