The service advisor showed my how far down in the engine bay the actuator is and how many parts had to be removed to access it. I had a service agreement so the service advisor was going to interface with them to save me a lot of money. They replaced my actuator at a total cost of $4000 but my part was only $1000 because of all his hard work on the phone. I decided to try to bulletproof my 6.7 if one little part cost 4 grand. I replaced the turbo and my 4 thousand dollar actuator. My third/newer actuator was ordered with the 64mm turbo. My new mechanic removed the passenger side wheel liner, removed four screws. Installed the $700 new actuator in 20 minutes. My cost for the actuator was $700 and I suppose that bergstroms price would have been much less than that. My point is that markup on labor and parts at bergstrom is beyond what any reputable dealer would charge. Beware of the sharks swimming around in that dealership because 400% markups are not ethical in any industry. I wouldn't do business at this oshkosh ram dealer on a dare. Take your truck to any other shop in the area until they flush the rats out of this dealership. They certainly cant fix the dealership with bergstrom personel. If you look at all the yelp ratings for every bergstrom dealership you see why using yelp is a HUGE MONEY SAVER as it exposes the crooks in the automotive business.

Called back to the store we both figured it was due to shipping. They covered the repairs and had it back to me in a short amount of time.

There is never a good time for this to happen. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and efficient. I didn't kno exactly what was wrong and she said if I could get there in15min someone would b available. Got there asap and the place was busy. They fixed my tire right away. Didn't try to up sell, didn't add any weird addition charges and the price was more than fair. Soooo grateful there r still places like this around.

We were in the middle of a 600 mile trip and not knowing what it was we were obviously looking at an issue at 8 PM at night. We called Eric who was closing up after a long day and he offered to wait for us to drive over. He raised the car and determined it was the engine cover that was dragging. He removed it and advised us that we could drive without it but to get it repaired upon our return. I tried to pay him for staying late and helping us out but he would take no money. It's just the way he is. A class act. And I could tell a very successful person given the amount of business he was doing in there and, as I've read, his reputation in the community. And young. My daughter was pulled over by the sheriff while she had a debilitating headache so she couldn't drive, and the Sheriff called Felix for a tow. The charges for a 13 mile tow and 1.5 days of storage was $354.71. Storage is $55/day, and a day is a minute or 24 hours. When the calendar changes, they charge you $55. They charged my daughter $165 for 36 hours of storage! I would call this taking advantage of helpless people. It's unethical and ridiculous. I would avoid these people at all costs. They should be ashamed, but I'm sure they're not. Stay away from these larcenists--certainly don't call them for a tow unless you want to be extorted to get your car back.

If you already know what's wrong with your car and you tell them what you want they are not bad mechanics but if you go there and you don't know what you're talking about they will take advantage over you and screw you for every dime. I needed to get my axle fixed and I knew exactly what was wrong with it. I took it there and they told me everything up to my steering column was gone and needed to be replaced. Automotive Specialists: "You're gonna have to bring it in for us to give you a quote" I bring in my car, thinking it was going to be a 5 minute thing - throw it on the lift see how bad the struts are. They say "well let you know" Take a whole 34 hours to get my "quote" They tell me a dozen other things "wrong" with the car, then give me a "quote" of $3250. Mark up the price of parts by about 3x. I say NO, then they tell me that the inspection will cost $150 AT NO POINT DID THEY COMMUNICATE THEY WERE DOING AN INSPECTION AND IT WOULD COST ME AN ENTIRE DAY OF PAY AVOID THESE SCAMMERS Not to mention they're literally giving gift cards away if you give them good reviews.

Worst experience ever! Zero communication! The service I…read morerequested was to have the battery replaced and oil changed in my 2005 Honda Civic. It took 3 hours and cost me $428.00. My appointment was for 1pm. My car wasn't moved from where I parked it until 1:25. I thought once they had my car in the garage and had a look at it that they would come out to the waiting room to give me my options. Instead, they installed a $254 battery; they thought this was ok for a 20yo car. There was no communication with me regarding anything until 2:45 when Brian came to the waiting room to inform me of $2000 worth of work that my car needed, which included $761 for 2 rear struts. I never asked for a full car inspection. I thought I would not be able to leave, but I was informed the battery was not yet installed. I didn't get out of there until 4 pm. Once I arrived home I took a closer look at my receipt and saw that I was billed $85 for a "charging system test" which I did not ask for, nor was it necessary. I then looked under the hood and saw that even though they had my car for 3 hours, they couldn't take a minute to do a courtesy top-off to the power steering fluid and brake fluid, but instead left them at below the low mark. The AAA battery they installed had a black date sticker of 6/24; a one-year old battery.
