What they don't tell you before you have the work done is that they charge an additional percentage for using a credit card. Since they didn't tell me, I didn't have cash or other payment method with me. That extra payment is the business's cost of doing business and shouldn't be charged to the customer. read more

Great service. My daughter's new 2021 Crosstrek with 2.0 engine & manual transmission had a hesitation at 2,200 to 2,500 rpm. Intermittent issue, difficult to replicate on demand. Gustman's said, bring it in and we'll check it out. Offered to test drive, inspect, and verify parameters were to spec. Friday 09-10-21 they spent ~2 hours with the car. I had them write me up an offer and without telling me any reasoning they added $2000 to the price of the Outback and we caught it at the bank, which looked it up and saw that it was listed at $2000.00 less on their website. Called to order a part for my Subaru. The parts person told me they would order it in and gave me a price. When I went to have it installed on my car, it was discovered they ordered the incorrect part number. When I contacted them about their mistake, they told me the correct part would be almost $200 more than the one I had purchased, effectively doubling the price. They did offer $20 off, which in no way covered what I am out for mechanics wages, rental car, and time spent chasing their incorrect parts. Will never go to them for parts, service, or vehicle purchases. If they cant be trusted to get me the correct part I requested at the price I was quoted, they just plain cannot be trusted. read more
