After I paid for the services I went out and started my car. While in park, my car felt like it was going to die. Then when I was driving at a slow speed and then accelerated it would slightly shake. When I was driving at a normal speed my car seemed fine. I ended up bringing my car to my regular mechanic because there was fluid on my garage floor the day after my oil change, I could smell something burning and my car still felt like it was going to die at a slow speed/in park. My mechanic then notified me that there was a total of 10 quarts of oil that was added at my recent oil change on Monday. I was also informed that having this much oil could have caused my engine to blow and seize the entire engine.

I needed a repair done, and called over a week in advance and spoke with Cheyenne. She said that my vehicle would be done for sure in one day so we made an appointment for the following week. So, I dropped my car off the night before to have to looked at right in the morning. I got a call at 8am that they looked at my car, and this is what it needed and would be done later in the day. I called back at 5:15pm, and the guy that answered the phone told me it wasn't ready yet. I asked him when he thought it would be ready, and he instantly got an attitude with me. I don't think my question was unreasonable nor did it get angry that it wasn't ready. He starts rattling off everything they did, and what they still needed to do. I'm not unintelligent when it comes to car repairs, and I know what they needed to do should have taken 4 hours tops. Why they had my car all day and then get mad when I ask a question was really weird. He then told me my car would be ready in the morning- even though I was told twice it would be done the same day, whatever I had the next day off anyway. Later in the evening Cheyenne calls me to tell me that my car is ready. So we went to pick it up, and at least it came in under budget. I always find her very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. The guy however, was a world class asshole. Based upon that interaction alone, I won't bring my own car here anymore, but others in my household probably will. When you are shelling out a few grand for a repair, you kind of expect to at least get a phone call if they are running behind in the repair time. And they damn well better be nice when you call for an update!

They speak with me like a person, greet me by name, I have never felt overcharged, and the service is always quick and pleasant. I was told Pomp's is still family owned, and it really shows in the service at this location I will continue to bring my vehicles here. Even if, on occasion, certain places are cheaper, I'd rather spend the extra $$ to be treated like I matter. I love being greeted by name, and being genuinely remembered. Pomp's charged me more than what they said would and damaged my wheels due to their negligence…read more I scheduled for them to do removal of my old set tires, remounting of new tires and wheel balancing. When I brought them at the time as scheduled earlier in the day, they could not find my reservation. It was okay though and I left the tires there so they could do the work and call me shortly when it was done. I asked them to be careful with them and not damage the alloy wheels. About an hour later Pomp's called me at home to tell me that they were done. When I returned to pick them up I asked if everything went okay, and the person there said yes. I then was told my total bill was $105.05. I said that earlier in the day you told me over the phone it would be $80 plus tax. The guy responded that my tires were low profile ones and that is why cost more. But when I called him earlier that day for a price quote I told him the size of the tires to be mounted. These people at Pomp's are in the tire business and (should) know these dimensions is are a low profile tire. Then why did he quote me $80? I paid my bill and started loaded the tires up. About half way through I noticed that one of my wheels were scratched. The Pomp's guy told me it was there before and that "they had pictures". I do not recall that damage to that wheel or any of the other ones. Then he picked out a s very small chip on one wheel about the size of a fly speck. I said that was there and I knew about it. You notice that Pomp's told me this after I paid my bill. When I got my wheels home I had to carefully clean off the adhesive left from the old stick-on wheel weights, yes Pomp's did not clean it off. I noticed they had gouged the paint, on all four wheels, apparently with a screwdriver or similar tool when they tore off the old weights. Although the damage is on the inside of the wheel, it can be plainly seen from looking from the front. And it is a lot bigger than a fly speck. Well, I have pictures of it too. If I knew that Pomp's were going to damage my property like this, I wish I would have taken the wheel weights off myself. One thing the guy claimed at Pomp's was that the person who mounted and balanced my wheels did all of their high end cars like Corvettes. Ha, I think he must have been confused, I would not trust this guy with a Chevette. Pomp's does not honor their price quotes and they are careless with customers property.

If you already know what's wrong with your car and you tell them what you want they are not bad mechanics but if you go there and you don't know what you're talking about they will take advantage over you and screw you for every dime. I needed to get my axle fixed and I knew exactly what was wrong with it. I took it there and they told me everything up to my steering column was gone and needed to be replaced. The bill was about $2000 is what they quoted. And they try to convince income for me that everything needed to be replaced when it did not. Everything is just fine other than what I came there for.

I told them And they looked at it and RESET The check engine light and told me to come back if it turns on again. So i brought my car back to them the next day, NOW they told me i need to replace catalytic sensors too and i would have to leave my car there because they had busy schedule.. understandable BUT IN NIGHT TIME WHEN I GOT DONE WITH WORK AND I WAS DRIVING PAST AUTO SELECT IN NEENAH I DIDNT SEE MY CAR THERE IN THE PARKING ALOT OR IN THE GARAGE and i could sleep all night knowing someone is out there driving my car pushing on it or misusing it because its NOT THEIR PROPERTY when i confront them the next day about my car not being there lastnight "they kept refusing said they parked it in the church parking alot because their parking lot was full, but wholetime the parking lot wasnt even fully full there was still 3 to 4 car parking spots were empty in the parking alot.. and i even paid for the sensors and have them put it on my car.. so my girlfriend can finally drive my car but the check engine lights was still on.. so i left and brought my car to the bergstrom and They kept my car there for week and test every single part on my car and they said the check engine light is keep turning on because of the bad catalytic convertor PART that auto select put in. My 17 ram 3500 actuator threw a fault code. I took it to bergstrom ram oshkosh because they should…read moreknow their product. The service advisor showed my how far down in the engine bay the actuator is and how many parts had to be removed to access it. I had a service agreement so the service advisor was going to interface with them to save me a lot of money. They replaced my actuator at a total cost of $4000 but my part was only $1000 because of all his hard work on the phone. I decided to try to bulletproof my 6.7 if one little part cost 4 grand. I replaced the turbo and my 4 thousand dollar actuator. My third/newer actuator was ordered with the 64mm turbo. My new mechanic removed the passenger side wheel liner, removed four screws. Installed the $700 new actuator in 20 minutes. My cost for the actuator was $700 and I suppose that bergstroms price would have been much less than that. My point is that markup on labor and parts at bergstrom is beyond what any reputable dealer would charge. Beware of the sharks swimming around in that dealership because 400% markups are not ethical in any industry. I wouldn't do business at this oshkosh ram dealer on a dare. Take your truck to any other shop in the area until they flush the rats out of this dealership. They certainly cant fix the dealership with bergstrom personel. If you look at all the yelp ratings for every bergstrom dealership you see why using yelp is a HUGE MONEY SAVER as it exposes the crooks in the automotive business.

Well there was another on the passenger side too so we thought nothing of it. four months later I noticed a discoloration on the ds spot and noticed the paint was cracked. Called back to the store we both figured it was due to shipping. They covered the repairs and had it back to me in a short amount of time.
