I've seen a few things about VP online, and to be honest, it struck me as expensive (for flavored ice). So when Thúy suggested we give it a try, I was a bit surprised. But hey, why not? It took us, well Thúy, quite some to make a selection. There are a lot of options, all delicious and/or interesting sounding. In addition VP also has several yummy sounding flavors of gelato. Decisions, decisions. Thúy settled on a regular size Banana Creme Pie. As it was being made, we met Nate (owner I believe), and he gave us some info on how things are made. This is not ordinary ice, well it's not plain. The ice used is flavored. There are at least 8 flavors, and each order has its own yum[[HIGHLIGHT]]my base. Inside is painted in bright colors, and it left. Me wondering, "What do the colors, vampires, and penguins have to do with each other?" Note: I still [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]don't know. So now it's time to dig into our Banana Cream Pie. Wow, the flavored ice totally caught me of guard. Totally delicious. And the real, fresh, banana on the side completed this yummy, icy, treat. So while I initially thought the priced seemed on the high side, after eating this delicious yummy treat, I'm OK with it. We're from California and rented a spot for a week here In Granbury on the water with our family. We stopped by last night and can say the ice cream was amazing!! Service was awesome and very friendly. One of my kids got the browning gelato and loved it. My daughter got the bubblegum snow and for one flavor no toppings it's was so tasty. I got the brownie with the new flavor gelato and I'd give it a 10/10. We will definitely come back for another round. read more

I LOVED this place at first. Told my family to try the place out. Unfortunately, we have ran into a problem with the owner. My Mom had lost her credit card, so she thought. Had my brother call up to check and see if she had lost it there, since that was the last place, she remembered using it. He called on three different occasions after the lady who answered said she would call back. On the third call, he came to realize his number was blocked. So, my mom finally called and the owner answered. The man yelled at her, told her she was a scammer and refused to just answer yes or no, if the card had been turned it. He was so rude to a customer who has just found their love for that place, was a returning customer, and got more family members to experience it. I personally think an owner screaming at someone and blocking a number is not professional. Unfortunately, none of us will be supporting this location. read more

Wanted some dessert after dinner and came here and were blown away. The lady's at the counter were sweet and the treats came out fast. We got the strawberry cheesecake snow, Twix snow, and fruity pebble snow and loved them all equally. It's hard to describe the "snow", it's like snow cones but much much finer/softer and doesn't clump together to become solid ice, it also didn't melt. This is a normal place for us to have a sweet treat. Creative choices that leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed and miserable.

I showed up 10mins before closing at 6pm on Halloween. They were so sweet and patient while I try to figure out what flavor I wanted. They have so many yummy flavors! I decided on Mexican Candy. The shave ice was so light and fluffy and it was sweet, tangy, and a hint of spice. I'm still salivating after eating it. Tomorrow I fly home.
