Wendy is a true animal lover, caring for your pets as if they were her own. She is compassionate and has gone out of her way to make sure that our cats were comfortable while we've been out of town. Thank you, Wendy, for taking such good care of our beloved senior cats.

As I've moved around Northern California, I've been able to continue classes with Georgeanne. I've…read moretaken 4 dogs through her class starting at Santa Clara Dog Training Club. Georgeanne was one of my first instructors, and waaaay back then, many of the instructors were still using force training like pushing dogs into downs and sits. I can get any 8 week old puppy into a sit in 2 seconds so on earth would you ever need to push an adult dog into a down? Georgeanne was before her time, using praise and allowed her students to bring treats to reward the dogs-but, she's not a cookie pusher trainer. I learned a lot from Georgeanne and was able to show my dog in obedience which in a million years I never thought I would, or could because my dog didn't like being close to other dogs. After her classes, my dog learned to ignore other dogs and pay attention to me 100% of the time. A lot of trainers are set in their ways, and if you don't do it their way, then they don't like you as a student. I've quit many classes because of that. Georgeanne is different. She's sweet, patient, and never judges you. She'll also be honest with you. My last dog was pretty wild, and wasn't ready to go off leash for heeling. Georgeanne will tell you when is the right time for your dog to go off leash heeling and recalls. Nothing worse than having a loose dog disrupting the entire class. Georgeanne is talented trainer and also a good people person.

It is truly a pleasure to have a dog so well behaved. Her expertise not only as a trainer but judge has been most valuable . He earned a CGC and TDI CERT.

The staff handled everything with such care and compassion and very competitive price . Just this week I had to take my 14 year old little Chaweenie in on emergency and I really thought I was about to lose her too ... But they handled her issue with such care and accuracy that she's home and so far doing great ! Also super competitive priced on her care too ( I guarantee from experience, if I would have had to drive her down to Loomis basin I would have paid at least 3 times what I did and without the care and compassion )

I know this is a late review but I have been thinking about this for quite sometime now, 3 years to…read morebe exact and I feel like this needs to be addressed. In January of 2023 I took my cocker spaniel to motherlode veterinary for surgery to get a cancerous tumor removed. After the surgery I took her in to make sure everything was healing properly and the vet said yes everything looks fine. Several weeks later after the scar was more healed I noticed there was still a part of what looked like the tumor left. I then took her in again they tested it and said it was benign. I really did not think this was this case but I just wanted to believe so badly that she was cured and everything was fine. Several more weeks go by and I notice it's growing vastly so I call up another vet to get a second opinion in Auburn. I bring my dog there and they very clearly are like yea this is cancerous and needs to be removed immediately although your dog may not make it because of all the stress from the last surgery. Unfortunately she did not make it. If the vet at motherlode would have been honest about not removing the tumor all the way with initial surgery and also about it being cancerous I believe I would have had more time with her. I just think people should be aware of this. After this experience I personally would never recommend this veterinary hospital to anyone. 0 stars for me. I think they care more about your money than the actual pet.
