My experience here was ok. The nail tech I had was rushing on my nails and my sisters nails too. My sister did ask for her nails to be fixed and updated and the worker gave her a hard time for asking for a change/ fix. The nail tech I had seemed like she was rushing on our nails so she can go home. I wouldn't say I had a great time. I felt pretty uncomfortable compared to other locations I've been to. Maybe I'll come back one one more time to give them a second chance. Also another nail tech was complaining about getting a $10 tip. I know tips aren't mandatory but complaining about a tip is rude especially in front of other customers around... It made me a bit frustrated because people tip based on customer service and how they felt about their services. I always work hard for tips when I used to work in food / customer service jobs in the past. Overall the inside of the store was pretty clean and the decor was cute. But other than that customer service needs some improvements. So I'll see if I can come back one more time to check it out to see if it's improved. read more

I used to love coming when mango was here , he was very good and clean. The quality and service is not the same . Paid 15 to remove my gel ( that I got there ) and then I also got a manicure . They completely over charged me to remove my gel , especially for a returning client, this last time They used dirty used foils to remove my gel. And the girl who did my pedicure used cuticle cutter TO CLEAN UNDER MY TOE NAILS. It hurt so bad !!! I didn't even have an ingrown I don't know why she did that. The next day my toe nail was pussing red and swollen . I wrote to the owner on IG about it and she never replied back. So that's why I'm here . I don't live in the area and found this salon on Yelp. I was in the area for work and called to see if they could fit me in and they were able to within the next 30 min of my call. I got a gel manicure with some flower designs. Their designs are really good and I'm very pleased with how my nails came out, but I was a little uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the salon and overall pricing. Everything was very dusty and where I place my hand in for the light for the gel was also very dirty and probably hasn't been cleaned in a while. My hand massage at the end was like 5 sec long and not really a massage, but lotion just to top it off. I paid $68 with a 20% tip for my nails and I do like how they look, but for the overall experience I am a little disappointed. I would expect a cleaner establishment and just a more pampered experience for the price. read more

I used to get gel x and acrylics often (9/10 job) but I haven't had the best experience with regular gel manicure here (4.5/10 job the past 3 visits) I've come in and had to get a different style / change up things from the inspiration pic and it ends up looking ok. The edges are also not very clean, uneven and missing polish in areas. (Update 1 day later: lots of chipping at the edges) Due to many average experiences here, I will be trying out a different nail shop for gel manicure next time. Dropping to one star because of the owner's passive aggressive response. Like, that's seriously your professional response? In what world does that qualify as acceptable customer service? I read through her replies to other truthful 1 star reviews and I can see her lack of accountability for mistakes is a pattern. I fully expect to receive another hostile and inappropriate response by the "business owner" to this review update. I've also found and posted old photos of their work from the last time I came. I'm not one to write reviews on Yelp. However I felt it was important to share my experience here. I've been to this salon twice for emergency reasons....being that they're the only ones that are open after work when I need an emergency nail fix. I've gone twice to remove my dip powder manicure. Both times I've come to do so I've gotten 2 different manicurist. I believe it was the owner herself the first time and an older gentleman the second. I take pride in keeping my real nails healthy and well groomed I never do too much in order to not damage them too much. And both times I've gone to this salon my nails were SHREDDED paper thin. On top of that my second time at this salon I decided to get a deal manicure in order to protect my post removal nail shredding the older gentleman manicurist shaped each one of my nails a different shape and different length on both hands. This is not to say anything about their customer service. Because these are in fact this is one of the most friendly and personable salons I've gone to. And I'm sure they have loyal customer that they take care of very well. However for an emergency stop I do not recommend this place based ob my experience. I came here for my mom's birthday to treat her out to a manicure. We both got acrylic manicures with designs and I also got a pedicure done. Pedicure was great. I accidentally bumped my big toe and the girl kindly fixed it for me. I really appreciate her. My mom's manicure was done beautifully! Lin did a wonderful job and really cared to ask my mom how she liked it throughout. Sadly, I did not have the best experience which is why I am writing this one star review. I had a man do my manicure. I don't know his name unfortunately. I have a feeling he is new because the girl who did my pedicure was teaching him how to say "How do you like your nails done today?" I understand the language barrier but if you do nails often, usually you would have said this many times? That is just my thought. Throughout the manicure, he would ask me to relax my hands. I have never had a problem before relaxing my hands with manicures but for some reason, he didn't like the way I would position them. He asked me repeatedly and started to sigh and appear frustrated. He visibly would huff and puff as well as shake his head. I felt uncomfortable and I think that started to make me even more tense and I was starting to having an even harder time relaxing. Furthermore, the whole time he had me balance my hands over a small plastic q tip box which made it difficult to relax overall. Lin did not have my mom do this. I also want to mention he was very rough when he was trimming my nails. It hurt but I was trying to tough it out. He didn't make it a pleasant experience. Even if I could not relax my hands, it is important to work with clients and treat them with kindness. Now onto the acrylic gel experience. I had asked for a French tip and instead of white, I asked for a pearl nail polish. He did the design but it wasn't like the picture I had shown him. He was also at this point, still frustrated with me. Every time I put my hands in the curing machine, he would say "be careful" gruffly which is many times considering how often you put your hands to cure. This made me more uncomfortable and even my mom caught onto this. Lin had noticed that we were having a problem and stepped in. She fixed the design and even helped reshape my nails because he didn't do that properly either. He also applied the gel on the acrylic way too thick (you can see in the pictures I attached). Lin was so kind to try and help me file them down from under the nails but I don't think anything could save my nails. It is so thick that there is barely any space between the nail and the skin under. I also want to mention that Lin didn't ask me to relax and I feel like her demeanor made me relax naturally. She was so kind and I'm very grateful for her. She even added chrome to one nail just to see if I would like it. I just wish that someone had stepped in sooner and watched over him because I believe he may have been new to doing nails? Or just stepped in because he wasn't doing the nails properly :/ I understand mistakes happen. However, he genuinely made me uncomfortable and I just want to warn other clients of him. read more

My pedicure came out decent but it was a half fast job, I got a French tip on my toes and I'm very picky on how I like my French tips and I wasn't pleased on how they came out and I felt like the service was being rushed and the nail tech had a attitude so I felt uncomfortable to say anything. I had high hopes for this place after seeing the pictures, but after going here, I won't be back. Let's start off with when I first got there. I had made two appointments and I let them know that when I walked in and that I was waiting for my friend before we started. Some lady in the front asked me again if I didn't want to start first and I said "no, I'll wait till my friend gets here." She laughs in this condescending manner with that response? Which I don't get because what's wrong with me wanting to wait for my friend. Threw me off but not a dealbreaker. Then my friend arrived and they have us sit with two people we didn't make appointments with. We had asked for two female nail artists but we got two male. I questioned why we were getting different people than the appointment we made, and that's when they at least gave my friend who we originally made an appointment with. Then I get to my nail artist and showed him a picture of what I wanted, which was actually done at this location. Nothing too difficult. Gel nail with some ombré glitter and some glitter stickers. The guy was definitely a beginner because he was struggling the whole time. I had to ask him on multiple occasions to get the color closer to the edge of my cuticle because there was a noticeable gap between each nail. He struggled with the design and asked to see the picture over and over, which is fine but after all that, he still used a color completely different from the picture. During the whole process, some of his coworkers knew he was struggling and I was surprised no one jumped in to help him. At one point, I had to ask someone if they can help him a little bit because he was having such a hard time. For how much we are paying, I don't expect perfection but I also don't expect to give someone THAT much direction. I was frustrated the whole time. All in all, from beginning to end, it wasn't a great experience. I'll give an extra star because my friend's nails came out okay, but we won't be back. The quality of service wasn't worth the amount of money we spent. **UPDATING TO 1 STAR: it's been less than 5 hours since I left this place and two of the glitter stars already fell off... what a waste of money read more

Yikes...I hate giving this type of review during these hard times, but you definitely don't get what you paid for here. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon to full house, and I was serviced by a young novice who probably doesn't have his license. Not only did he not removed the dead skin around my fingers, but the polish job was incredulously horrible. Honestly I could've painted it better myself. I tried to let the workers know that the quality was just not there, but then they sent him back and started to file my nails again? I am not sure what that is supposed to do when the nail polish is all over my fingers, and I have super dried skin around it. They even notified the owner that I was unhappy, but she did nothing about it. The novice tried to blame it on the fact that it's because I chose regular polish over gel. Um, excuse me, but it's much easier to fix than you messing up my nails with gel. Terrible service with terrible attitudes. Don't come here. You've been warned. read more

The nail salon I used to go to unfortunately shut down due to covid, so I decided to try out Vana for my wedding nails since it's so close to home and seemed to have decent reviews on Yelp. I came once to trial the place and my nails were decent; however, in the middle of my service, the nail tech left to take care of personal matters and Hana took over. I had gel French done and the first tech who worked on my nails did an okay job. She did use acrylic tools to manicure my nails, which, after I removed the polish a few weeks later, left indents in my nail that made future nail polish applications look uneven. The French line was a bit uneven/shaky. After Hana took over, she did it much more quickly and with a more steady hand. Two days before my wedding, I came again because my first experience wasn't so bad. I got a French gel mani and pedi. I was being super careful as I didn't want to ruin the nails before the big day, and come to my surprise, just before I was getting my bridal shoot done, the polish on my thumb had chipped. I ended up having to hide my thumb in all subsequent photos. I also noticed that the cuticles around my nails were frayed and made my hands look very messy. By the end of the day (again, not doing much with my hands since my bridesmaids were helping me take care of everything), I had more chips all over. Pretty upsetting. Highlight: the french polish on my toes (regular polish) has maintained. read more

Nice place but the person on number 11 just didn't do a good job on my french "dip powder" nails. And I payed $47. First, I had gel on my nails from another salon and she only left the nail polish remover for a bit and used a more harsh way to take it off. Which made my nails look FRAGILE. Next, while she was cutting and filing she didn't even bother to see if both hands were even. Some are still long and some short! And some are crooked! Keep in mind these are my natural nails. And she didn't even take of the excess skin around the nail like the cuticle. Third, as soon as there were more people coming in she started rushing. Some of the white nail polish is faded like she didn't go over it to make sure it is completely white. And to top it all of she left nail polish on my skin! And the French tip all look uneven.
