Kristen, nurse practitioner, drew blood to check my kidney function and electrolytes and hooked me up to an IV of fluids with an antiemetic. She was fabulous as was the entire staff. I was there for less than two hours and felt 80% better when I left. She gave me thorough and easy to understand instructions on reaching a full recovery. Thank you!

After a different type of ear drop and ear irrigation I can hear! All I got from MedAccess were ear drops for an infection I did not have that cost me 70 dollars. Instead of listening, they continued entering the wrong information and repeatedly told me my insurance had been "terminated." The problem wasn't my insurance--it was their inability or unwillingness to process the information correctly. A simple mistake turned into a complete waste of my time because no one stopped to actually listen. The level of incompetence was shocking. Rather than trying to solve the issue, they kept insisting the system was right even after I explained exactly what was wrong. It felt like basic problem-solving and customer service were completely absent. On top of that, the office atmosphere was terrible. Staff appeared disengaged, several were on their phones, and no one seemed interested in helping patients. The entire place felt unprofessional and poorly managed. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. I'd gladly drive to Oxford or Durham before ever coming back here. This office seriously needs better training, better management, and staff who actually listen to patients instead of creating problems that never should have existed.

Before being seen by her I was dealing with chronic disease and was doing the run around, my experience with other doctors were awful. She truly cared to keep medical charges as low as possible as I was being treated every month. While treating multiple chronic diseases she was honest that stress was triggering all my issues and recommended I change my environment. It took me some time but as soon as I did all the chronic diseases disappeared. I had been on 4 rounds of antibiotics and so much more medication. It has been 2 months and I'm so grateful for my new health and the honesty, care, support and treatment from Dr. Nguyen and her team. The best of the best. Thank you!

I can't tell you how many times he's having to skip every other day and/or take half pills because they never put any refills on his prescription. He has depression/anxiety and needs them to be able to function. The pharmacy has to contact the doctor each time that he needs more medication which takes a while. There's also been a time where the papers weren't signed to get sent over to the pharmacy. It happened twice. Yeah we are looking elsewhere for care.

I went to FastMed because I was concerned that I might have pneumonia, a respiratory infection, or…read moreanother respiratory illness. I specifically told the nurse practitioner that I was coughing up extremely thick sputum that was light green/light brown with a faint streak of blood in it. My temperature was normal and my oxygen level was 95%. The nurse practitioner listened to my lungs and said they sounded clear. However, no chest X-ray was done, no labs were drawn, and no swab or other testing was performed. I was not given a diagnosis. I understand that my lungs sounding clear and not having a fever were reassuring, but I was concerned about the symptoms I was having--especially the extremely thick, discolored sputum with blood in it. I went to urgent care specifically to find out what was causing these symptoms and whether I had pneumonia or another respiratory infection. I left without knowing what was wrong and feeling that my symptoms had not been thoroughly evaluated. I was very disappointed with the visit. Clear lungs doesn't mean no illness present.
