This review is based on my visit to the Ophthalmology clinic in October 2025. The doctor was fine, and the care provided was ok. It seemed like she did a lot more screenings and tests and retests than my previous ophthalmologist. The office was comfortable. One issue with the office, though, was that the Medical Assistant wore the strongest cologne. It was very out of place in a healthcare setting. My chief complaint is that the front office and the ophthalmology biller in the office insisted on collecting a $100 fee instead of running my visit through insurance. Had they run it through my insurance it would have been a $30 copay. I have called the Vancouver Clinic and this ophthalmology office multiple times to get the $70 difference returned (or at least get the visit billed to my insurance), to no avail. The Vancouver Clinic never returned any of my phone calls. This is par for the course at Vancouver Clinic, in general. I have had great experiences with the clinicians. But when it comes time for billing or scheduling, I am always very disappointed. I won't return to TVC for ophthalmology specifically due to the front office billing problem. read more

I agree with all the negative comments. The quality of care is not good. Most of the doctors here have no bedside manner and you are herded through like cattle. They have no interest in you as a person. The billing dept is the worst. They might have been good 10 years ago but not anymore. Go to Portland to find quality care. read more

My husband and I have been coming to Vancouver Clinic for over 15 years for our annual preventative care. Luckily we have only had to change PCP's a few times during that time, due to them moving out of state. It's always frustrating trying to find a new doctor after the one you really like decides to leave. So far, for us, they seem to have low employee turnover, which is a plus. The clinic always seems clean. They have numerous hand sanitation kiosks throughout the clinic for use. They have single stall restrooms available on both floors as well. We love the atmosphere in the lobby area with water fountains and plenty of chairs and benches to sit on. For the most part, all employees have been friendly and helpful. Occasionally you get someone who's having a bad day or just doesn't like their job and can be abrupt and rude. The clinic actually sends surveys to patients after visits for anonymous feedback. I usually fill these out for both good and bad experiences. How will they improve if nobody speaks up? And everyone enjoys positive feedback to let them know they're appreciated. Overall, the only issues I've had is with the billing department. I wish they would work with insurance companies more to use the correct codes so costs are covered better. I've discovered billing codes submitted incorrectly and had to be the middle person to get it rebilled correctly. It's sad that patients are expected to advocate for themselves so their doctor visits are paid correctly. I'm sure this isn't the only place that has this problem though. read more

Be aware of the billing issues and trust your gut and look at all the red flags that surround this clinic. Do not assume claims are submitted correctly or pay for services that should be covered as preventive care. My preventive care visits were incorrectly billed as specialist office visits, leading to wrongful submission of claims. The issue is not insurance coverage, but inaccurate coding. Despite multiple requests, Dr. Le, my assigned Primary Care Provider (NOT SPECIALIST) refuses to resubmit the claims correctly. This action is forcing me to pay almost $600 of of pocket. read more

I went to Vancouver Clinic with no insurance and was told the cost of a simple office visit and strep test would be around $150. They required a $200 deposit and said I'd likely get some of it back if I didn't receive extra services. Well, not only did I not receive any refund, I just found out they're trying to charge me even more -- a total of $360 for a single rapid strep test and a quick look from a doctor. The worst part? Nobody was willing to give me a clear answer about pricing before or during the visit. It's like playing roulette with your money. I feel scammed, misled, and taken advantage of at a vulnerable time -- while sick, uninsured, and just trying to get a basic test. Shame on this clinic for zero price transparency and deceptive billing practices. If you're uninsured or financially vulnerable, stay far away or demand everything in writing beforehand. I am a disabled combat veteran, US Air Force retiree, and have been a Vancouver Clinic (VC) patient since 2017 when we moved here from the Midwest. I always received great care, but we have been in Europe a few years taking care of family and recently returned home for emergency medical care. I called the VC immediately upon return home to make my appointments, but I was told that because I turned 65 while I was away and now had Tricare for Life (Medicare pays first, then Tricare), I was unable to make an appointment with a provider. I have been to TVC multiple times in the last few years. I have to say that every time that I've been there I have received outstanding services. I was just there last week for an endoscopy and they were wonderful!!! Very patient focused, friendly, and extremely professional. Dr. Casimo and the other doctors as well as the nurses were all outstanding. Unfortunately I have to return in 3 years for another scan to make certain that nothing has changed as I have a history of various cancers. But fortunately they have always caught them very early in the process of forming and I've always had the cancerous tissue removed asap. I've been going to Vancouver Clinic for about three years, and have had pleasant experiences. I called and scheduled a primary care appointment, and the same scheduler scheduled my mammogram and colonoscopy. She didn't transfer me to anyone else. She was courteous throughout the call. The clinic is very clean with masks and sanitizer readily accessible. I work for a different clinic with very similar practices. In this century, patients do not call a doctor's direct phone number. Doctors have so many patients that it's not humanly possible to answer calls while in the room with a patient. The call center is in place to help answer calls, provide information, have patients triaged for urgent and emergent symptoms, etc... Patients can use MyChart to message providers, make payments, check-in for appointments, read test results and more. This helps to prevent waiting on hold or waiting for a call back. Doctors have been thorough and professional and have followed up when needed. I had labs done on a Thursday. I heard the doctor say he was off that next day. I received my abnormal results in MyChart on the same day. The next day, a nurse messaged me responding on his behalf. She explained the results and also the next steps. I can't ask for more than that. The one time I questioned billing, I sent a billing inquiry in MyChart and received a response. I then questioned my insurance, and it was them that didn't cover 100% of my services. I'm posting this because sometimes it's our insurance that sucks. It's not always the clinic's fault. read more

What a joke. I was referred for Physical Therapy there using VA. Vancouver clinic received the authorization from the VA on 8 Aug 25 and I was instructed to call and set up appointment, which I did. Vancouver Clinic said we are working on 1 Aug 25 referrals now we will call you when we get to yours. Crickets. Then on 25 Aug 25, VA calls me to ask have I scheduled and I explained what they told me on 8 Aug 25, I was told to call them. I called 25 Aug 25 and was told because I'm VA that the normal schedule person couldn't make my appointment but they could transfer me and of course I had to leave a message. Crickets again. Left another message 28 Aug 25 and finally got a call today. Person on the phone said they could get me in 12 Sep 25 and I said you can't get me in any sooner and he said no we need the final authorization. I said you have the authorization and he said no we don't. I've used community care for a few things and I have never heard this before. Shame on you Vancouver clinic you have the authorization and you are creating barriers to care. read more

My entire experience at that place was not good. They run you back-and-forth they don't have you in the system from one little office to another. Meaning from the Urgent Care office over across the way to the x-ray office and then back down where you have to register and then back to the x-ray office where they don't have you in the system there were a lot of little things in between and it was just too much I was there over three hours. read more

Do not use vancouver clinic if you have had established health care someone else and had to change. I had 1 kaiser primary care dr since 2007. My insurance changed 2 years ago so now I am here and I have kit seen tge same dr once. Nor did they diagnosed my psoriatic arthritis my sons clinic in Texas had to. This is the worst clinic of drs if you suffer anxiety and chronic pain disorder because they tell you take a Tylenol and ibuprofen. I have had autoimmune disorder for 9 years and have been treated like a drug seeker. read more

My check-in was 11:10AM, I had to move other appointments to make this work. Then checkin-in was an absolute nightmare, I was in time with extra time for paperwork but the check-in was going glacially and there were so many other people who were running late at that point like me because of this. I ran to 3 different suites trying to find a way to check-in. Then they tell me I need an x-ray first which I already had a CT so money grabbing ‍. When I was finally brought back to the room I was told it would be just a few minutes, eventually I wandered out and asked what was going on and was told the doctor went into a meeting instead, would I like to reschedule? Such a bad experience of course I don't want to go through it again. Now I'm going to be late for another appointment, it's 12:20pm and I still haven't been seen. read more

Why is it so hard to find a doctor at Vancouver Clinic with a soul? This doctor treated my husband like a naughty child. Her attitude was unbelievable. She was short tempered not only with him but with the resident under her charge. Beyond unprofessional. How can you treat a patient that way? they suck. they have a horrible and repetitive phone tree that ends up often with some 'that just makes apptments' asked for my ssn. i called back to ask why and have them delete. they say they dont. they said they dont have a place to store. then i get a call that says the require it for certain procedures. when i called back to get an explanation for conflicting answers... i get some one who just makes appt. repeated calls get same. the two things you can count on - they will ask you to confirm all info they have on you over and over and crappy phone tree that drops you where ever making you repeat the confirmation over and over. the bill will come weeks before results. dont believe they want your email but wont send spam. and if they leave a message to call - good luck getting someone to gove you that info when you call back (see phone tree and confirmation notes). does not appear to be BBB acredited. i am not at all surprised. It gets very annoying trying to get help for vacation over rides. Most recently I asked for a pain medication override of 3 days, first time. It was granted but sent to wrong pharmacy. Spent 3 days on phone trying to get it straightened out to no avail. We are trying to beat bad weather of 1inch snow per hour. We're 2 days late because of remote area we're going to has no pharmacy and we will be isolated for 3 weeks. We had these issues before husband transplant too. I went in for a quick check and had an ear infection. pharmacy called dr back to ask for a different prescription and told them there was no generic version. dr told pharmacy to use generic version. both me and the pharmacist tried for three days while I was in extreme pain to get a prescription. on the fourth day they finally sent one over. I got charged an extra 50 dollars for their medical malpractice. when I called billing I was trying calmly to explain what happened and she kept interrupting me and telling me she wouldn't continue the conversation if I was going to be hostile. I had to laugh. also, I got a different clinic. like I told her if they don't reverse this charge I'll tell everyone in town what they did. that's worth way more than 50 dollars to me to let Vancouver know allllll about their medical malpractice. read more

However, there is a long wait time for my doctor's appointments and because of this, I chose to go to urgent care due to a medical issue only to find out that it wasn't as serious as I had thought, which was fine until I was charged $280. Flu A hit me hard this week. after an ER visit on Monday, I went to urgent care at the Vancouver Clinic because of continuing symptoms. Awesome patient service was experienced. I arrived at 3:30, was ushered back by 3:40, saw Dr Meyer by 3:50, X-ray by 4:05, ushered back by 420 with a treatment, Dr Meyer again, and done around 5 with a thorough diagnosis and confidence in the treatment plan. I was listened to and am thankful to have such quick attention to my respiratory crisis. Thank You! read more

My grandmother had an appointment scheduled for today 1.25. She has dementia.Who did they decide to call and leave a message for her appointment?? Not her caretaker.. it was the patient with dementia!! Did they ever follow up because they left a message on a dementia stricken lady's phone? Absolutely not, because why should they do their job?? How in the hell do you expect an elderly lady with dementia, who has to have a caretaker, take care of her own appointments?? From day 1 you have had the correct number and still chose to call the wrong person and never follow up. We waited over 3 months for this appointment, only to show up and have them push us out ANOTHER 3 MONTHS?? What kind of a circus is this?? Not only did we take the day off of work for this, but we drove over an hour each way for this damn appointment. You should not only should be ashamed of yourselves but you need to be retrained on how to interact with DEMENTIA PATIENTS. Do better and get her rescheduled sooner than 3 months because this was your screw up, not ours. read more

The worst. I went to the dermatologist for a consultation on seasonal hair loss. Their answer? People go bald sometimes. Too bad. I had another visit with a nurse practitioner that gave me wrong blood tests and sent me to the wrong specialist. Sadly, this was my medical group for my insurance. Because I had to come here, I didn't go to a doctor wince and will be change insurance to kaiser. And their copay... would be cheaper with better service waking into a real dr and paying cash. read more

Overcharge. If you are uninsured they you pay the 200 up front which is fine, I get that. I got told I was good and everything was set than I was charged another amount a day after. They charged me $413 for a 5-10 minute consultant and to put gauze on my hand. 413 to talk the doctor for 5ish min and the nurse doing the cleaning and wrapping around it. Make that make sense. Called customer service and they were extremely rude and disrespectful and not helpful. Will never be returning here again read more

There is only one phone# to call and the wait times are long, the operators are NOT the kindest people and should not be working in customer service (and should refrain from speaking like a Kardashian bcs its highly annoying and unprofessional), it takes a long time to get a referral approved, and if you need to speak to a specific person you have to rely on the operators to get them a message bcs there are no direct numbers. read more
