    The office at Vancouver rV

For those reading the bad reviews about this park, please ignore them. We came here for the weekend after getting brake work on my car at Roadmaster. The lady at the reception was super nice. We are in a level 55ft space really close by the office. It's clean and quiet for being 1/2 mile from I-5. I would have given it 5 stars but the dog area has some poop left in it, even though mgmt. have bags and a dump bin available. Not the dogs fault just lazy dog owners. We will come back here again it's convenient to visit my daughter. Don't pass this place up for bad reviews.

Staff informed us that the park is now owned by the Port of Woodland. Site 55 was gravel and it was level and gave us plenty of room for our truck and trailer. Checked out the upstairs club room and shot a round of pool. There was no one else in the room. Tried my luck fishing on the beach just below the park. No bites during the two days we were there. Obviously the fish didn't care for the coon shrimp offerings. Park is quiet and kept very clean, pool was open but we didn't use it. There is also a horseshoe pit and basketball hoop that we didn't use either. Will return again since it's so close to home and the location on the river can't be beat.

The sites are level and not too close together, each spot features a grass area and picnic table. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Hello. WiFi is spotty and there is no cable television - but - then that's not what you're here for, is it? For more information see photos.

We absolutely love the private beach access--it's one of our favorite parts of the campground and makes for such a relaxing getaway. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and both the booking process and check-in are quick and easy. The camp store is super convenient for grabbing anything you forgot or need during your stay. This year, we even hosted our nephew's birthday party here, and it was perfect! The park allows day visitors for just $8, giving them access to the entire park and private beach. It made it so easy for our family and friends to spend the day with us without having to camp overnight. One of our favorite things is watching the massive cargo ships pass by on the Columbia River. It's so cool to see them glide by from the beach--you don't realize just how enormous they are until they're right in front of you! The park is also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Between the berry picking, wildlife (they have resident giant geese, and we saw a ton of bats and a few deer!) and the beach, there's always something to do for both kids and adults. The only thing I'd suggest is a little more attention to the bathrooms. They weren't bad by any means, but they're small enough that a more frequent deep clean would go a long way. Knocking down the spider webs more regularly and keeping the hand soap stocked would make an already great campground even better. We'll definitely be back again next year. Reeder Beach has become one of our favorite summer traditions!

Used to be a nice park. Ownership changed and everything quickly went downhill. Rates went way up…read morewhile nothing was improved, in fact amenities were lost along with the rate hike. There used to be a community room, it's now the owners "mancave". He has a sticker on the office window that says he accepts credit cards, that's a lie. This guy is stuck in the 80's and only accepts paper checks. The old owner just ran our card for rent, it was super convenient. My neighbor had a tree limb fall on his trailer during a storm, the owner didn't want to contact insurance to properly take care of the issue. Instead he tries to make deals like a used car salesman. (I have a feeling that's going to come back to bite him, karma does that) There used to be professional landscapers to take care of the park, now a teenager does it and doesn't even bag the grass. Not to mention the owner, Chip went to do some weed eating because he's so cheap, the idiot broke my truck window with a rock while doing so. He also threatened to kick me out because I used a blower to clean up his grass mess. The grass was being tracked everywhere! So we did move. Best decision I've made in a long time. The fellow longterm campers now call the park "Hitler's camp". I know a bit dramatic but he does walk around the park 24/7 and pretends to be your friend, then dictates and tries to tell you what to do. The way I see it, he just has a big case of little man syndrome. It's like owning a bar and also drinking in it on a nightly basis. Just something you shouldn't do. People that have been here for a long time are leaving solely because of the new owner. I can't reccomend NOT staying here enough, seriously. Fairview or sandy river rv park would be my recomendation if you need to be on the east side.

Husband put on the emergency brake when I went in and to get to our site, it WAS REALLY STEEP down the hill. At the bottom of the HILL you needed to make a sharp turn into your row. Sites are close together when you get to your space, no picnic benches, no pool/hot tub, okay laundry room and the bathroom/showers were dirty. No road noise just sirens. Lots of long term RV's staying at the park. Absolutely NO BIKE RIDING...... People not from the park are walking on the riverfront walkway which is separated by a two foot fence.(They can just hop over that short wood fence! I realize that this park is in the "Portland/Metro area BUT this park was the most expensive park so far on this 2025 trip with no amenities. They had "one spot left" so we took it. It was about 20 min away from my Nephew's house in Beaverton, but we needed a spot and it was late and Yelp reviews were positive. We had no expectations so when we arrived (late), we were pleased by the nice touches at the managers office. Flowers, clear signage, and our packet on the door. Our pull through site was easy to find and easy to access. We were under a big light which provided great light for our domino game. But we did have to cover up our ceiling vents at night to sleep. It wasn't too big a deal. Since we were an end unit we had a bit more lawn to relax on. Rather than moving closer to my nephews house for night 2 we asked to extend here for a second night. They made the accommodation for us by redirecting the next nights guest to a different slip. Very kind. We met some of the neighbors. And we took advantage of the washers and dryers and showers. We were able to show up at my nephews house all clean for his family. I asked the "manager" at the office if the "owner" owned multiple RV parks. Turns out she was the owner's wife. This was their only RV Park. They started it from scratch. Her husband bought an old defunct place on the river and over time turned it into a super clean, very well run RV park. The Stalls look a little close in pictures but there was plenty of room and everyone gets lawn. And, they're on the Tualatin River. I was told that "Tualatin" means "slow moving water" or something close in the Native American language. Overall a great stay. Loved the husband - wife ownership. And the fact they have had the same maintenance and groundskeeper since the beginning. That shows "good people". Definitely Recommended.
