I'M ACTIVELY SEEKING AN ATTORNEY TO SUE THIS HOSPITAL; RECOMMENDATIONS FROM LOCALS WELCOMED!! I VOLUNTARILY went into the ER @ 11:30a because I could not eat, having lost 10lbs in a week, and was in pain. Instead of helping AT ALL in 3hrs... I find out they deemed me a harm to myself and put me on a 24hr psych, stripping me of all my rights/property! I rightfully got irate, threatened to sue, and refused to go back into a room. That's when 6 staff forced me back into the room, pinned me down, and gave me a shot I refused! In retaliation, they then changed my hold to indefinite, and moved me to a psych hospital where I was kept for a week! NO ONE SHOULD EXPERIENCE THAT! THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING TO HELP THE ISSUE, AND MADE EVERYTHING WORSE!! Here, a COUNSELOR can strip you off all your rights based merely on speculation!! Don't believe me??? CALL THEM AND ASK! I lost contract jobs, was late on payments, and friends/family couldn't locate me having to call the police who then called my landlord (homeowner) who gave me a warning for having to deal with that! Emergency. Horrid! Nurse that took blood out thought he was working on a CADAVER! Tourniquet almost cut my arm ! This Nurse HURT LIKE HELL to TAkE BLOOD OUT and SQUEEZED my forearm so hard he BRUISED ME! HE WAS LiKE GORILLA taking out MY BLOOD as if I did not hurt! This is a terrible representation of the Vanderbilt hospital system. Unfortunately, my dad fell at assisted living and broke his hip. Ambulance transported him here early Friday morning. Communication is TERRIBLE. Everyone blames or pushes off to someone else. I feel I was given bad information and incomplete facts about my father's condition and care. Much of the staff is pleasant. But it just takes a couple to ruin an experience. My dad swears, he's 88, in pain and a bit of dementia. A nurse and a tech shamed and lectured my father for swearing. They need some sensitivity training for sure or find a new job. It's just words. Their attitude toward him was appalling. I think forgiveness rather than condemnation would be a better route. It's sad that a couple higher than mighty souls can treat an elderly man with such little compassion. The nurse complained to the surgeon who in turn yelled at me. What a circus! This is not the Vanderbilt way. Apparently there are people employed at Wilson County that are happy to hang on the lousy reputation that is hospital has had for many years. Given a choice I would never have sent my father here. You can do better. The people of Lebanon deserve better. read more

What a disgrace to medical profession. I understand construction however to put up curtain in the ER to hear patience is a breach of privacy. We heard everything anyone went into the ER for. Waited over 6 hrs for them to tell Me no broken bones but left in severe pain and told I could return to work (I work in aviation) but no explanation as of what was the cause and why it hurt severely to breathe cough or move The communication was terrible. Took a bad fall last night at a restaurant, wet tile and heads don't mix. Since I know enough regarding concussion care, I chose to go in for a scan this morning. I can't say enough about the care I just received in their ER! Everyone was fast and caring about my head issue. PA Heather is top notch as are all the others I encountered. Wonderful experience! These people were rude. They put me on a ventilator and did not tell me they were gonna cut my clothes off and I woke up to being restrained. On top of that I got told if I left against medical advice that I could die and possibly would die. I am on dialysis and got treated like poop. They even refused to give me any type of pain medication through the IV and only gave me Tylenol. If you don't want to die go to St Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro TN. They also used me as a pin cushion. They stuck me with an IV in my foot twice in both arms then below my knee and then finally got one in my neck. Horrible hospital. read more

went there because a medical sensor from a dibetic device broke off the wires in my arm first off I wasn't treated seriously and then they recorded the conversation they asked my permission because of hippa law I figured it be used for training purposes now I'm not so sure I was x rayed and the technician told me the wires would not show up because they was so small before he did it and that his son had broken some off to and my body would just absorb them terrible experience I'd give it a minus one as they noted on my papers the feared condition wasn't present hope God and karma comes back at them and something breaks off in there arm and people treat them accordingly read more

This hospital killed my mother! You all continued to deny her pain and thought she was some sort of junkie even though she never took the pain meds you prescribed! She presented to the er with complaints of a headache that wasn't relieved by any sort of a spin or Tylenol shortness of breath and could barely walk. NO STARS ,,, i had teeth pulled on Monday1/23/23 . tuesday1/24/23 ,around 2;30pm ish..i went to the ER... i had throbbing pain the kind where you could feel a heart beat .i was crying .the pain was just to much ....i just wanted the pain to STOP ..I was giving Tylenol ..and told i was to wait in the waiting room next thing i know i was being checked out ,,,i asked but the service was not complete ..they told me "if i didn't like the treatment there was THE DOOR .the guy had a smile on his face .... i was treated like i was a drug addict ....they didnt look at my paper work from the dentist ...was not seen by a doctor. they said the had 3 tiers of service ..a nurse prac seen me for a whole 2 seconds enough to look in my mouth ..never asked me questions or to see my paper work from the dentist...they put me in a chair.(.NOT a ROOM ) by a door that every time it opened it hit my legs ..i begged and pleaded for someone to help me ...but no ..no help was giving ...that was my first and last time there...in the pass 10/15 years i have never had pain meds because they make me sick .i have never been treated so badly by a health care person ....i cant take anything with codine (?sp).. in it ..because of my anxiety i was up for 24 hours just thinking about the dentist ..now here it is 1/25/ and im up at 5:00 am because IM STILL IN PAIN .and im starving my mouth hurts to much to eat anything ..and probably got a 2000 bill for Tylenol...which i will try call my insurance company and fight it .... but you all know how that goes ...but to be treated that way ..and sayTHERS THE DOOR ...thats just not right ...i hate the er but it was my only choose ..i live in a small town and had to drive 30 minutes there ..and because i called my husband to tell him i was going to the ER he freaked out and left work he was scared ,because i never go to the er ..he met me there and tried to comfort me ....i love that man ..he too could not believe how i was being treated ... thats how i was treated .. signed , Still in Pain ...the throbbing heartbeat kind for some reason it puts me in living California .. no i live in LIBERTY TN..why this is changed i dont know ... read more

The first of December 2021 I was hospitalized at Lebanon Tennessee Vanderbilt hospital. During my emergency room stay I was treated with respect and care. However, once I was placed on the second floor my care declined tremendously. The monitoring and times I was to receive my medication varied from shift to shift and nursing staff. I have a severe Heart Condition but was hospitalized for respiratory issues. I ask many times to please be treated ask if I was your family member. I am writing this because I am so disappointed in our local hospital and strongly suggest that if possible by-pass this hospital and go to Nashville. read more

If there was a chance to give (-) stars I would. There is no empathy or care about your condition here. The staff is callous at best. They do not listen to you as a patient nor take into account any consideration for your concerns. I was left abandoned in an ER exam room for nearly 4 hours with no water, food or bathroom break. I couldn't get up to get to the nurses station and I wasn't given a call button. I was left to lay there and writhe in pain for hours. I would never refer my worst enemy to here. I have been told by my neurologist with my pseudoseizures that if anything was different to go to the emergency room. I went to the Vanderbilt Wilson County emergency room today. And I've never felt the way this doctor made me feel in my whole life. Procedures of had today four different from my other seizures that I have learned to handle it. Not being able to respond to the doctor I felt like she got real ugly with me you'll never know healthy meals when someone can't control how their body is reacting and can't respond to what the person is saying. After this is. I told my brother did never let me go to the emergency room again I didn't care if I died but I couldn't go through that experience again. All I wanted was to know that they were the same and I never wanted to be treated the way his doctor treated me. She treated me with no respect. These type of seizures are seizures that nobody wants to have. I hope the right person reads this. Because the Wilson County Vanderbilt needs a lot of help. I have been at the Vanderbilt in Nashville and they are wonderful. But I went to this Vanderbilt in Wilson County because it was closer. And I will never go again unless changes are made. No one should be made to feel like you're wasting their time. Dr Crudele at Vanderbilt in Nashville told me my seizures are real. Even if a doctor doesn't believe in pseudoseizures still need to treat the patient with respect. I hope the doctors in the emergency room will be trained to notice that people do to deserve respect and not all patients with a pseudo seizures and pain won't pain medication. I only take my pain medication when I can't stand the pain I do not like to take Hydrocodone unless I have to. But this one took me by surprise and before I knew it it was too bad and I didn't know what to do because I couldn't think. This is really upsetting me. I was at the emergency room today probably about 11:00 that was Vanderbilt Wilson County. If you need to know more you can contact me. Could not figure out what is wrong with me after thousands of dollars of tests. Asked them if I could pay in chunks, they said that was fine. Then next thing I know they've sent me to collections. After I had already paid close to half. No phone calls, no alerts that I was paying in an unacceptable manner. No apologies when I tried to call and pay the full amount. My son was "seen" by a very arrogant doctor who attempted to compare his back pain experience to my sons saying it's nothing. He was treated in the waiting room and sent home, never saw a room but was charged for one. Turns out he had a completely ruptured disk and that's why he couldn't walk and was in pain. Went here yesterday for severe stomach pain, thought for sure I was getting my appendix removed. Dr. Pitt, the nurses, the aide that took me to CT scan, the CT scan tech, registration were all so unbelievably nice and caring. They made sure I was comfortable, they took great care of me while I was there and discharge was super quick. This is by far a great hospital. My daughter came here and had major surgery by Dr Mark Kent. I can't say enough good things about him and his crew and the nurses that took care of my daughter before during and after. Great people also a few other people stop by in her room to see how things were going to name a few but don't remember all, social worker , dietician , nurse director and a case manager all very great people and hats off to all. NOW the bad part, housekeeping, I don't know what kind of people work in a hospital and do the least work they can, as far as cleaning the rooms. My daughter went to go shower and they have this great big walk in shower and it had dust every where . Maybe it hadn't be used but the lady could of moved the dirty linen basket and swept under it and around the toilet and sink. Good thing I'm not the inspector or manager because I would have some angry people but the rooms would sure be clean. read more

The nursing staff was great. The nurse practitioner was great. Never saw a doctor. But a ton of doctors did send me a bill. They overinflated the ED Code on my bill to 99285 making it look like I was near death which I wasn't at any time. I asked for an itemized bill and found where they billed me for duplicate tests. I complained about the code inflation and duplicate tests. Couldn't do much about the inflation because they did run the tests whether they needed them or not. They never came back with an answer to my complaint. Calls to management went unanswered. But I did get a letter saying that my account was turned over to collections. No hold period or concern for my complaint. Our family will never use Tennova services again. Their customer service and billing is the worst I've ever seen. read more

My husband was in the hospital 3 times within less than a month. I could not have ask for any better care or kindness from the staff at Tennova Lebanon. If there was anything we needed we received it timely. They were always checking on us. And was very kind to ask if I needed anything. We were on the 2nd floor twice and the 1st floor the last time. When we had many visitors they were kind enough to get chairs. I would just like to give a big thanks to Roslynn, Heather, Evelyn, Fawn, Hanley, Lisa, Grace, Hope, Haven, Mary, Annette, Rachel, Risha. Dr. Kehinde is the most caring, straight shooting, smartest MD, my husband and I just loved him. It took maybe a day for some of these awesome nurses to catch on to my husbands humor but when they did they left with a smile on their face and so did he. Thank you all for making our stays more pleasant. We lost my precious husband on July17th from Cancer. Thank you again, and I pray for these precious nurses and doctors they have such a hard,stressful job. But they truly love and care for their patients.
