Fantastic place to work and seek medical assistance. Couldn't ask for better treatment. Lives up to the Vanderbilt name.

I went in because I thought I was in labor and, being a first-time mother, I did not want to hesitate and risk complications.

The only communication I received indicated that the visit would be virtual and that I could request a change if needed; however, no appointment link was provided. Five minutes before my 8:00 a.m. appointment, I called because I still had not received the link and was told it would be sent. At approximately 8:04 a.m., a nurse called to check me in. I explained that I still had not received the link and expressed concern about the process. The nurse responded that if I was "going to be difficult," the appointment could be rescheduled. When I explained that I had the right to raise concerns as a patient, the call was disconnected. I called back and was later connected with another nurse. It became apparent that she knew the first nurse and formed an opinion based on only part of the situation. She spoke over me, and when I pointed this out and informed her that she was being biased, she also disconnected the call. I have always been patient and understanding regarding cancellations, delays, and wait times, but being spoken to disrespectfully and having calls disconnected is unacceptable. I have had a great doctor at this practice, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Respectful communication matters to me, and after this incident, I no longer feel comfortable continuing my care here. I have since reached out to a new provider. I am sharing this not out of anger, but because no patient should be treated this way for speaking up regarding a flawed process.

Im here now. There still holding me and theres nothing wrong with me. I do have a psych disorder…read morethat sometimes causes problems but im fine. They almost gave me the wrong medication that i have an allergic reaction to. They can not provide the proper heart medication i need but yet im paying to be here even tho i dont want to be here. Im on a low card low sodium and low cholesterol diet but still give me a ton of patatos, noodles, i get no protien. Then the ok food i do get is cold. There are couple nurses who were kind enough to get me a plate of fresh fruit but other times some of the nurses will not give me anything else to eat when i dont eat what they give me. There are nothing but ants running around all over my stuff and room. I will be posting pics. There are 3 nurses and 1 security guard to 12 patients. And sometimes there all in the med room lollygagging. They wont let me have a toy because it has a piece of medal in it but my window has medal coming off it and pieces of it on the window sill. There supposed to check on you every 15 minutes especially if your suicidal which is what im supposedly in here for. They dont check on you but maybe once every 2 hours. There keeping me because they want to keep me safe but yet i can have my cpap machine with cords in my room and my door closed. If im such a suicide risk shouldn't you take that away after im done or monitor it? You would think. Theres so much more i could say but i need to save the battery. To be continued...

This is the second time I have had to take one of my kids to this location due to being after hours…read moreat their regular pediatrician. The first time, I waited with my young children (one 2 year old and one under 1) for over 30 minutes for the results of a strep test after having waited an obscene amount of time just to see the doctor. When I had finally had enough and my kids were over it, I walked out of the room with them and requested a call for the results because I needed to leave (the winter ice storm had already begun at this time). The doctor told me "oh I didn't realize you were still here. I thought someone told you the test results". How did you not hear my two young children causing a commotion for 30 minutes? This latest visit I took my now 1 year old for a follow up appointment. We waited over 45 minutes to be seen after the nurse had checked us in and taken his vitals. He was borderline inconsolable to the point where I was packed up and ready to leave again when a nurse came in to check on us. I had exhausted all of the distractions and snacks in the diaper bag at this point. One nurse offered him Nutter Butter cookies. I know she was trying to help, but trying to offer a child a sugary snack that contains a common nut allergy is insane to me. Once the doctor finally arrived, some additional amount of time later, she noted that there must have been a mix up "with IT" because we were listed through the urgent care side (walk in), which was not the case. I made the appointment while I was there, in person three days prior. TLDR: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY WITH SMALL CHILDREN!!
