The other propane companies that I was referred to (left unnamed) either didn't have the personnel available to fix the problem, didn't have the part, and/or there was a lack of competency that I didn't feel comfortable with. But when I called Vanderyacht Propane the fellow I spoke with at their main Lynden location knew exactly what I was talking about. I made the drive and he replaced the broken valve (which wasn't exactly easy to access) inside of 15 minutes. Not only that, but he filled my propane tank and tested the stove before I left to make sure that everything worked 100% for our travels. Totally worth the drive and worth every cent I paid for the job (which was going rate and very affordable). If I have any problems ever again with RV propane or any other propane need, I'm going to save myself time and frustration and go to Vanderyacht Propane. They have our locations: Lynden, Burlington, San Juan Island, Orcas Island. PS: Their office is very nice and they have a stupid fast propane-powered zero steer mower that's to die for.

In this instance, he identified pre-existing work that would need to be brought up to code, was able to orchestrate and get everything installed flawlessly. It was a 1 inch gas line extension to an overbuilt six burner range. We got along great, and honestly I'm looking forward to having more done just to be able to work with them again. Too rarely these days does one find this level of master craftsmanship, alongside kindness and professionalism. These guys were forged in a different time, and I rue the day I'm no longer able to find talent like this.

These guys were amazing from start to finish! We had them extend a gas line for transitioning from…read morean electric range to a gas range in a M-I-L apartment. They were immediately responsive to my request for a bid. When Matt came out, he tracked the multiple gas lines out to figure out capacity, as there are numerous gas appliances in this large house (he was the only one of 4 bids that did that!). The bid was reasonable - not the cheapest, and not the most. When Steve and John came out to install the line, they were careful and thoughtful about the routing, to minimize the visual impacts. They were also nice, and explained the reasoning behind the things they were doing. They went above and beyond in the testing to fully insure that it didn't just meet the minimum requirements. Lesly, in the office, was excellent with communication and responsiveness, making the whole process, including the inspection, super efficient. When the very impressed city inspector came out, he commented on how well it was done, and that they'd done a job to the level that you usually only see done in commercial installations. When Matt came back to complete the valve installations, and retrieve the pressure gauge, he was perfectly on time and very pleasant. In a time where people seem to want to do only "enough to keep my job", or "this'll be good enough", this company, from the top down, goes the extra mile, and I'm grateful to have found them.
