Our riding lawnmower developed a loud popping sound which they fixed for just a couple hundred bucks. When the popping noise returned after a day of mowing our 2 acres, they came back, picked up the mower again and fixed it AT NO CHARGE. This is Small engine repair, these guys tuned up my 2006 kawasaki prairie and did a damn good job. Rebuit the carb, full service for half the price of the dealership and twice as fast! They have a giant garage on main street in Arlington downtown. I highly recommend you check these guys out. Not sure why they aren't on yelp, but hopefully I changed that today. They also gave me sound advice to trash my mower instead of trying to fix it. 13 years of great mowing came to an end. Got to love honest businesses though. read more

These guys have moved to right next door to the Olympic Theater. Same great service. They originally told me that it would be up to 2 weeks to repair my POS Crapsman lawnmower. They had it back in less than a week running as good as when it was new. Reasonable rates, and charges with a good attitude. Hard to beat for small engine repair these days. read more

I took in a brand new Craftsman walk behind brush cutter. I had added mixed gas to the tank, instead of not mixed?? I took the cutter into Arlington Power Equipment to drain the tank... six weeks later, they gave me a beat up cutter telling me "My" paper work said that was mine. I obviously told him that was not my cutter, he gave me "that's it... take it or leave it" I talked with an attorney, it would have cost me more than buying another cutter!! read more

Took our little mower there to fix the pull string and a tune up, was quoted max would be $60 total.... they called to tell us it's ready and the total is $129.... that's over double we might as well by a new mower... can't even call to get ahold of them to talk about it... they have about 50 mowers in the shop I wonder if they do that to everyone and they end up just not coming back for their mowers.... that's pretty shady... very frustrating!! read more

On the shady side, poor customer service and poor business organization. I turned in my lawnmower with a bag, and it came back without one. The owner tried to blame it on the me, the customer. The bag never was returned so now I have a lawnmower without a bag. I gave them a second chance since I couldn't find where to repair my two chainsaws. I turned them in on a Friday and the owner said that he would look at them and call me with an estimate. Wednesday rolled around and I hadn't heard anything so I called. They still had not gotten to them and the owner said they would get to them within the next day or two. Needless to say I wasn't going to wait around for two days just for an estimate so I went to pick them up. The owner was defensive and told me because of all the run arounds that he had with me...um the one run around where you stole the bag off my lawnmower??? Take your repairs somewhere else or photograph your repair before you turn it in. read more

We bought a Husqvana lawnmower from these crooks and within 2 weeks the thing was spewing oil everywhere and wouldnt climb any incline. We went to talk to owner and he pushed us off to corporate headquarters. Corporate headquarters said the owner of the dealership knows better. He is the one who is supposed to resolve customer problems. Extremely POOR customer service!!! We spent 3800.00 on a piece of crap riding mower. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The owner never returned our calls and did not want to be bothered with a broken down mower that was 2 weeks old. We had to deal with getting it fixed elsewhere. Do yourselves a very BIG favor...take your money elsewhere!!! read more

I'm trying to change the blades on my riding mower. The bolts holding the bladess are so rusted, it took a machine shop special equipment to remove them. They have been rusting in place for years??? I paid Arlington Power to put on new blades less than a year ago. How can a machine shop tell me those bolts have been in there for years, and I paid Arlington Power for having removed those bolts just last year? read more

I brought my mower in to have the guys at Arlington Power Equipment do some servicing on my JD lawn tractor including freeing up sticky steering, replacing belts, and a few other odds and ends. I was told when I dropped off the mower that it would take 1.5-2 weeks. Long story short, I didn't get the machine back for five weeks. To the owner, Ron Strattons credit he adjusted the bill from $375 down to $307 in an effort to make up for my having to wait so long. Fair enough. Forward to now, the new drive belt has hopped off the idler pulley several times so I went online to look up the proper configuration for that unit. The pulleys had been installed backward with the new drive belt riding on a cross member to the point of polishing where it rubbed the paint off and frayed the belt along the edges. Mistakes happen I guess however I won't make the mistake of taking my business to Arlington Power Equipment again. read more
