I was very afraid to have anybody work on it for fear of damaging it. I needed it sized two sizes up. Because of the sentimental value of the ring, Vandy let me watch the entire process. I have seen this store but never stopped in, what a beautiful store!! I needed a diamond replaced in my ring, the gentleman Stuart there was very knowledgeable and quoted me for the replacement right away. I have had multiple pieces of jewelry worked on at Vandy Jewelers as well as made purchases and each time was a pleasure and I received my jewelry back in a timely manner with exemplary work and craftsmanship. I made the mistake of going to another jeweler for some work and they were more expensive and the job was mediocre at best. The goldsmith spent enough time with me to explain how this would be done, made recommendations as to how/where to place the diamond- in the end I LOVE IT!!! Vandy fixed my bracelet and then changed a small clasp for a large one. Perfect. He offered to do it then, but we said we would be back in the morning. When we returned, Vandy beautifully secured the prongs on my engagement ring while we watch. Vandy and his wife are lovely people and we enjoyed chatting with them.
