Dr. Lord has been my PCP for over Seven Years and continuing to have him as my PCP is well worth the Hour and a Half Drive each way. So I most heartedly recommend Dr. Lord and his new practice at WellFamily Medicine. My experience with the Front Office and with Dr. Lord's Nurse have been absolutely positive! In fact, on my first visit, I accidentally reopened s wound on my forearm and the receptionist immediately called for Dr. Lord's Nurse, who took me back to a room, cleaned the blood from my arm, and bandaged my wound. With me, I feel like I go in to see her, tell how I feel and what my symptoms are, she asks a few clarifying questions and exams me, then she tells me what's wrong and discusses with me how to make it feel better and get better. She is willing to change directions when something is not working and she is also willing to "try it your way" when you come in with thoughts and ideas for a treatment plan that you want to try (as long as it it safe), even if it is not the approach that she would normally advise. She will tell you when you need more advanced or specialized care than she can provide in her office and will refer you to an appropriate specialist. She is always open and honest with her patients. Her office staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. I highly recommend her! If she is not available, Dr. Kurtis Elward, another doctor in that same practice, is also very good.

This review is going to be about the office care in this office not the physician. This is a very…read morelarge office with many many exam rooms many physicians many procedure rooms. It's very large office. I'm sitting in an exam room and I needed to use the restroom when I went out to ask first of all no one paid attention and they acted annoyed when I disturbed them to ask them if I could use the restroom where is it and she just flippantly pointed her finger and said you have to go outside and down the hall by the elevators so in this very large office with many physicians and procedures you need to tell me you don't have a bathroom for your patients to use. What happens if one of the doctors wants a urinalysis, are you gonna tell them here take this pick up and go out in the hall and down by the elevators there are a lot of elderly people that come to cardiology offices and you're gonna tell them that they have to leave the exam room, actually leave the office go down the hall and around by the elevators to use a restroom. That is the most ridiculous thing in an office that I have seen yet that is extremely poor. patient care it's bad enough you get treated like a second class citizen when you come to the doctors, but when the office staff treats you with disrespect when I went to let one girl know that I was going to the bathroom I'd be right back she flipped her finger too instead I'm on the phone. How am I supposed to know you're on the phone? You don't have a phone in your hand. The thing is there was no courtesy. There was no niceness. There was no hospitality. I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Kenneth Barron. From the moment I walked into his waiting…read moreroom, a sense of calm washed over me as he plays calming/reggae music. The staff at the front desk is so professional and organized. When they took me to the room for examination, a sound machine is on to help continue to relax you. Long story short, my OBGYN actually referred me to him because I was dealing with unexplained infertility for the past 3 years. Blood tests, ultrasounds, etc all came back "normal". She gently recommended the local fertility clinic. Even though knowing I was not open to fertility treatment/a bandaid to the problem, I still went to see if maybe they could get further answers. After feeling gaslit and put down, I went back to my OB to do an HSG. We discovered one of my tubes was blocked, which led us to Dr. Barron. In my first initial visit, Dr. Barron took the time to really listen to my symptoms (very mild) and concerns. He did an ultrasound to see if any of my organs were fused together (luckily they didn't seem to be). He then explained I most likely have Stage 1, possibly 2 endometriosis and was very supportive of a laparoscopy. We had expectations that he'd need to remove my tube depending on where the blockage was and possibly my appendix. I'm happy to say I had my laparoscopy yesterday! He discovered stage 1 Endo, with some of the areas being deep Endo. There was a cyst on top of my fallopian tube, causing the blockage. He also found another area that could've been effecting our chances of conceiving. He was able to excise the cyst and remove all Endo. So no removal of the tube or appendix!! When I woke up, I was so relieved and just felt validated. I'm so happy I advocated for myself and pushed for this. Grateful to have found 2 doctors that supported my journey and gave me answers. I highly recommend Dr. Barron for anyone in the area. He truly is an expert and I'm forever grateful I was able to have surgery with him. Pictured are my incisions. My bloating is extremely minimal (i walk every morning and workout 4-5 days a week, as well as chiropractic care, thinking all of those helped)

Dr John Hall is a wonderful doctor who keeps his medical knowledge up-to-date. He calmly and…read morepatiently listens to me while I describe what is wrong, what made me want to get an appointment with him, He then does an xray if necessary (conveniently located right there in his office suite) and examines me, being gentle and sympathetic when certain parts of the exam are painful. He then gives me a diagnosis and treatment options and discusses those options with me. The first time I was seen by him, the treatment plan Included being seen by another doctor in his office who specializes in managing back pain and Dr Hall was able to get me in to be seen by his associate immediately. The second time I went to see Dr Hall, it was for knee pain. The treatment option chosen that time was to inject my knee. I have had these injections previously, multiple times, years ago, by another doctor, and they have always been painful, always. Not this time! Dr Hall injected my knee so quickly and so painlessly that by the time I asked him what position he wanted me to place my knee in for the injection (I was flat on my back on the exam table with the sore knee drawn up when he entered the room), he was practically finished already! I never felt the needle go in or the medication being injected. My husband told me later that when I asked the question, the doctor was in the process of withdrawing the needle from my leg as I spoke. Dr Hall is extremely skillful when giving injections in the knee because I never felt that injection at all. I was happily surprised because I was expecting it to be painful, as all those other injection were, yet I never even felt it. I highly recommend Dr Hall. His bedside manner is always polite and he is always honest with his patients (I've also taken both of my in-laws to see him) but he can be a little abrupt on very rare occasions. The xray staff have always been friendly and gentle with me, trying to make positioning me for the xray as pain-free as possible. His office is run very efficiently by friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable desk staff.
