Well, I was confused as the vascular surgeon said I had none. So, I went to another vascular surgeon in Dallas and he did another sonogram and found nothing. I felt like he was really pushing me to express symptoms when I admitted it was purely cosmetic. I really felt like he wanted me to file with insurance and I just wanted to pay cash bc I knew my insurance wouldn't pay unless I said I had symptoms. I didn't want to lie. When I went back two weeks later for him to look at the wounds and veins he blew me off and just tried to convince me I needed more treatments. I told him I wasn't ready to schedule that until these wounds healed better and he seemed almost annoyed telling me "that could be months." I said fine. I also asked him about possibly draining some blood that was clotted to prevent discoloration and he said "we can do that if you want during your next treatment." Again, I felt like he was trying to push me to get another treatment instead of treating complications from the FIRST treatment. A week later the wounds were still not better so I went to another dr who informed me I had a severe ulcer that needed antibiotics and superficial vein thrombosis which needed aspirin to prevent clots. I have to go back again to this other dr b/c the ulcer still has not healed. It may need to be excised. I don't even care about scarring I just need it healed. This vein clinic is a sales place. Don't go.

I just wanted to tell everyone how much I appreciate their professionalism, efficiency, courtesy, and mannerisms. Everyone was attentive, polite, and friendly. They made me feel at ease and they explained the process every step of the way. I was made to feel very comfortable during what could easily be anticipated as a high-stress procedure. The waiting lobby is comfortably furnished and they have complimentary bottles of water. On each day and at halfway through my appointments, I was sent out to eat a fatty meal which helps the chemicals show up during the scanning procedure. You'll find Whataburger, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Taco Cabana, and other restaurants within about a half mile, so you'll have plenty of choices and plenty of time to eat and return.
