Just dropped this clinic because of the WORST office staff EVER! Dr. Johari is a good doctor, but…read moreshe has the absolutely WORSE office staff I have seen in my 50+ years. Set an appointment for a Dr. visit and a possible x-ray from an injury that "might" be work related. This was something for the doctor to determine as there were several variables. Once the nurse heard the word "JOB", she cancelled my appointment. I never got to finish why it might be job related or might not be, as I was at work with my boss in front of me. Called the next day (as they close before I got off work) and was told the nurse was with a patient and she would call back. I stated, I wanted to reinstate my appointment this afternoon and that it was cancelled wrongly. 3 1/2 hours past with no return call. I called back and cancelled a future appointment for a checkup that was over 2 months away (soonest possible date). Less than 5 minutes later, a manager called me to ask why I was cancelling my appointment. That confirmed my opinion that this office is more worried about counting their $$ than helping patients. Over 3 1/2 hours and still counting for a patients health concerns vs. under 5 minutes after cancelling an appointment. My wife left years ago for the same problems. The manager stated that we don't call patients back until the end of the day and that was policy. My wife found that they just don't call patients back unless it was over billing. No wonder so many are demanding free health care. They must all have visited this clinic! All kidding aside, in my opinion, their action proved to me that patients are here to serve the clinic, not the other way around. $$ over patients = Goodbye! Hope all that bean counting over caring for your patients serve you well. I won't be one of them.

We checked Yelp and decided to visit this location (which was 15mins away from where we were) based on the 5 star reviews alone-- I'm so glad we did! We were greeted upon entry, electronically filled out the new patient info, then called back right away. The doctor and nurses were very warm and knowledgeable; taking the time to thoroughly explain, diagnose, and provide a treatment plan for my teenaged athlete. I was very impressed by the level of care, cleanliness and customer service provided by this clinic. I hope to not have to visit them again for anything serious, but I'm glad to know that this wonderful clinic exists should I ever need urgent care in the future. I highly recommend this location!

It is much larger than the old North Garland facility with what looks to be an emergency center in part of the building. After circling one time to get my bearings of where the clinic area was located I entered. I should say the reason I've stayed with Baylor all these years is personal, friendly service and diagnostic advanced care. So it was good to know progress and growth had not dampened those attributes, but as one should expect- made positive strides in my opinion to advance both service and care with a bit more speed. Being employed in tech I immediately appreciate their use of new "stuff", from the Phone app to the gear they employ for even my simple checkup. Nothing like speed when your waiting on the numbers! Service- It's a big place but after determining where clinic was from the entryway shingle, I was greeted warmly and escorted to the area where my new doctor served. Short wait- very good first visit with "new" Dr- some diagnostic tech and I'm done. While I was out in under 1 hr, even with a meet/greet the new doctor, I felt very good about the visit and Baylor. This was a Friday the 13th visit but I had some lab results on Saturday via the Baylor app and full results with Doctor recommendations Sunday evening. Pleased to say the least - 5/5!

However, BSW is now adding an extra $300 "Hospital Facility Fee" to every doctor visit. My last doctor visit was $300 to see the doctor, $150 for blood tests done in the dr office, and a $300 Hospital Fee. $750 for a single office visit. Baylor is "nonprofit" in the same way the Epstein Class are "taxpayers". (Their CEO made 10 million dollars last year, and nobody on the board was paid less than a million. So...)

Upon getting to the ER, and after waiting for 5 hours, the ER dr. was shocked that Make you Well Urgent Care hadn't splinted my sons arm. His break was fairly bad and ended up requiring surgery with an orthopedic doctor a few days later. After seeing an ER dr, they were told all they could do was splint it and give him pain meds and we were to make an appt with the orthopedic dr. Both of these 2 things could've, and should've, been done at Make You Well Urgent Care. There was no need for them to wait in the ER for 5 hours just to be treated with what, we had expected, the urgent care to do.

This is a big improvement and actually above and beyond! Honestly, this doctor is the best I have ever seen in ANY specialty. I wish she was my doctor for everything because she is super intelligent, scientific, intuitive and KIND. Compassion is such a rare trait in a doctor these days and she is definitely that! I have asked her advice about medical issues that are not even allergy related because I think she knows more than most of my other doctors. I am just so thankful I found her all those years ago. My husband has been to this ER several times for serious cardiac events, and unfortunately the…read moreexperience getting through intake has been consistently frustrating. especially with the EKG lady who never seems to be around and doesn't have a clue with super helpful comments like why didn't you shave because we didn't know we were gonna have a heart attack this morning. The check-in staff are nice enough, but once you are waiting to be seen, there seems to be very little interest in hearing the patient's history or listening when you try to explain why the situation is concerning. My husband does not always present like a typical cardiac patient, which makes his history especially important. On previous visits here, he has ultimately been admitted and required serious cardiac intervention, including emergency procedures and valve surgery. Once we actually get back to the ER doctors, our experience has been very different. The physicians have provided good, quality care. My concern is getting to that point. If this weren't the closest hospital to our home, especially during a possible cardiac event, I'm not sure we would continue coming here. There is a large sign warning patients that aggressive behavior toward staff will not be tolerated. I completely understand and support protecting hospital employees. At the same time, after sitting here again and watching how frustrated people become when they feel unheard, I think compassion and communication need to go both ways. We are currently here again, sitting in a mostly empty waiting room, so I will update this review as our visit progresses.

Nurse did not use gloves and told me not to eat anything for 12 hrs. Doctor reluctantly gave me fluids and they left me in a room with a beeping machine for hours. I was so sick I could barely move. I had traveled to Mexico City and had diarrhea for 11 days and had not eaten a meal the whole time. I ended up having to go to UTSW where I was properly treated and given meds. Baylor, you need to shut this "hospital" down. Looking for help in the middle of the night alone and I picked the wrong place.
