She was dressed head to toe in purple and was very personable. I had gone in for a pedicure and she did a great job. Price on par with everywhere else, about $40 for a regular, no gel. Would return. The salon is clean, bright, and organized nicely in a row. I love nail spots like this where you can sit next to your friend, rather than the ones where you can't sit together and you're at more spread out stations. I didn't need anything special. I was in a bind and needed my Shellac polish removed. In many other places this is something that can cost way more than it should, but I was so thankful to find that it was only $7.00 here. Perfect. Totally reasonable. It was a Saturday, and I was expecting to have to wait since I didn't have an appointment, but to my (very pleasant) surprise, they were able to see me right away. My visit was quick, cost effective, and efficient. I would go back again if I'm in the area, for sure!

Foot massage (2/5) I'm basing this on deep foot massages I have had in the past. The deeper the better. I'd give their approach to a foot massage a 5 if you're just expecting light application of massive amounts of fragrant creams and ever so gentle, light rubbing in a pleasant setting. I sat beside a good friend and we chatted while she had a pedi and the staff allowed me to stay longer because her procedure was longer and the room wasn't needed. I felt that was kind. Where things went off the rails and why my review plummets was due to the communication I received from this place after my review. I had expressed 2 levels of disappointment with their foot massage . First is wasn't 'deep' despite the description of 'deep rhythmic massage' on their website and second because the esthetician maintained a very light pressure after I twice told her should could go much deeper. The 'deep, rhythmic massage' never happened. They sent me an email asking me to change the review, blaming my disappointment on my misinterpretation of 'deep rhythmic foot massage' and explaining that of course it meant was 'deeply relaxing'. They said a lot of other stuff, but the result is that I feel gaslit and feel they were trying to shame me for giving an honest review. They have now updated the website to eliminate the wording of 'deep rhythmic' from their foot massage description. I have a screenshot of that earlier version. So, I have in fact changed my review from a 3 to a one and would give them a zero for customer service if I could. No customer should be made to feel this way.

I'd return, but I'd ask for a more experienced nail technician the next time. The employee I got was relatively new. I'm happy to review that it's seemingly a supportive environment for new employees. When I asked for nail art, colleagues were able to assist my nail technician. My technician did an overall okay job. I have a nail that has a random dot of pink and an air bubble. Otherwise, the quality of my nails has lasted well.

I have gone to Westbro salon once before and they did a good job. The salon does struggle with time…read moremanagement, even with an appointment I would expect to wait 20-30 minutes. They seem to be over booking. In both experiences going I had to wait. My second time going my experience wasn't great. I was rushed through. My nail technician kept answering the phone during my service. Little over 24 hours later my thumb nail chipped. I got my nails done on the Saturday, and they chipped on the Sunday. The chip isn't big however it happened fast. With chipping it will chip more and more. I contacted the salon in private and asked for a partial refund. I'm not able to go into the salon because I'm away. They declined and stated they only fix their work. They also suggested that I didn't put my hand in fair enough for the gel to cure. This is very frustrating that they blame the client for their work/don't clearly state their policy anywhere on the website or when confirming their booking. NowI have to buy white gel nail polish and fix it myself. At a cost. After already paying $90. It should be Westbros responsibility to reimburse a PORTION of the cost. No where does it state your policy of no refund for their mistakes. It is the responsibility of the nail tech to make sure the gel is completely cured/in the lamp. This is why customers go to a licensed salon. I understand mistakes happen however it is their responsibility as a business owner to back the work of your nail artists. Yes Westbro does have strong artists but they are forced to work too fast and skipping corners causes bad work at a high price point. When messing the Instagram account.
