The walkthrough was for the most part pleasant and I liked some of the ideas we discussed. I wanted some bushes removed, to get on routine lawn maintenance schedule and eventually redo my backyard area. He said the maintenance is based on an annual contract so it would be 5K for the year, basically locked in. I was like ok well send me the estimate/contract so I can review and make a decision. He told me he would send in a few days. I thought everything was fine, but randomly on the next Sunday two guys show up to my home unannounced saying they work for Richard. I told them I never received a contract and they said they just wanted to look around my home. I was a little sketched out so I tried calling the company's phone number to verify they worked for Richard, but obviously it being Sunday morning nobody answered. When Richard did return my call the next day, he said he didn't ask them to come that day but did tell them to go to my home. I re-emphasized that I didn't appreciate people showing up unannounced to my new home as I'm still settling into the area. Then he got defensive saying I should get a security system if I don't feel safe, that the area is safe. The house came with one already so again mentioning a security system felt like it was just a way to deflect instead of just apologizing for the mix-up. He said he would still send the estimate on Tuesday.... uhh what?! He never did and I was already not going to move forward after what I felt came off as rude and unprofessional behavior with the way he handled the situation. I don't recommend this company and am happy I got to see this behavior early on before locking into a contract. Poor value and red flags!

Richard and Elizabeth promptly scheduled an estimate, and Richard came to our house to discuss what we wanted in a patio. He was very professional and attentive to budget, and offered us a few great options. We decided to hire him, and we could not be happier with the exceptional work that Richard and the crew did. Our new flagstone patio is beautiful and exactly what we wanted -- the stonework is perfect. They did the work exactly in the timeframe they specified, they were respectful of our yard while working, and they finished quickly. We are going to have Richard come back in a few months to install a seating wall to go with the patio! Give Richard Landscaping LLC a call today, you won't regret it.

Communication was quick and easy over email and he suggested sod. His team showed up and was done in a few hours doing great work! The price was extremely fair for the quality. His creativity and his extremely professional staff helped transform my backyard into our family oasis. I was even impressed with the little things...his staff notified my neighbors just to let them know what was about to be done, how long it would take and to see if they had any concerns...how thoughtful. As a result, one of my neighbors ended up using Bainbridge Outdoor for their landscape job. I will continue to use Bainbridge for future home projects!

After waiting for their "design", Walter and Bert put in exactly what I had said we did not want- an outdoor kitchen and bar. Their attempts to "upsale" were blatant and we had to ask several times for what we had originally asked for- in vain. Then, their quote came back 3x more than the other companies! When we asked for them to come by and see that their "3D design" would not look good in our small backyard, they told us to find another contractor. I do not appreciate being bullied into chosing their pre-decided overpriced plans.
