I came back today to express my disappointment in the service and an employee at the register named Karen informed me that she couldn't assist me as the alteration company in the back of store was a different company and she could not return my funds for the mishap. The employee was very dismissive and unhelpful. Safe to say that I will not be returning as it seems they couldn't care less about the needs of the their customers and their satisfaction with the product. Step it up! This place used to be nice but I'd rather spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

While walking around the store, I noticed it was very well organized and super clean. The kids area seemed to be smaller than other locations. Men's and women's apparel sections had lots of items on sale for their "Anniversary Sale" special. Staff members were friendly all around the store, several of them greeted us and offered to help.

The return line was long. I almost left but it seemed to be moving so I waited. Well the line moved pretty fast. Marquita, the cashier, was so efficient with the returns/pick ups that I only waited about 7 min. Not only was she efficient, she gave the customers personal attention and was friendly and nice! She had my returned processed so quickly but still was able to have a conversation with me. The store has a lot of merchandise but it clean, staff wear masks and hand sanitizer is available. The bathrooms are open and clean. I felt comfortable shopping here

I believe I generally do a good job of focusing on others during the holidays. LOL. But the GM Kevin, made it really hard to do so this past holiday season to walk on by. I didn't make it easy for him as I perused the store with my set goal in mind. I gave my stock answer, "just looking", when I wanted to be left alone which was respected. I did have a general question about the availability of a particular shirt color and size and from there it snowballed into a much bigger purchase than I initially expected to spend. LOL. There was a jacket I had seen and wanted online but I thought it was sold out entirely, but Kevin said "oh yeah we have it in the size you want". It seemed like his brain was hooked directly into the BB database, and had the current stock information because it seemed like within two mins he pulled everything up on his register and logged into my rewards account and before I knew it, my credit card was out and the jacket would arrive in 2 days. LOL. There is a sea of retail outlets that employ help that just focuses on taking merch out of boxes and folding them onto a table. Every now and then they goto the back to see if there is more of a particular size, but they don't know anything about what they are peddling. It's nice when the help is experienced and knowledgeable about their product. It's nice when the staff shows some competency in getting the customer what they want and getting them on their way quickly especially during the holidays. This is a new Brooks Brothers store and I've got to say BB has a real gem in the store manager Kevin. The work that he's doing on social media to build up the brand on instagram is also impressive. I explained to the gentleman who greeted me that I have a return, have the card it was purchased on but do not have a receipt. He stated I would need to speak with the store manager. The manager is tall, thin and bald. Before I can even complete my sentence he said "no, bye" I was almost certain I was in a respectable establishment and not on the street. It wasn't so much that he was unable to return the item, it was the poor attitude I received. When I asked his name he said verbatim "I'm not going to give it to you, I don't want your business, I don't want you wearing the brand, get out of the store" I'm a professional, I head a customer service department and this is not how one should conduct business. I was not rude, I'm not a fan of rude customers nor do I believe in "the customer is always right". However, this man was on attack mode.
