I have had occasion to utilize the services of this shop and staff in the past few months. I worked with Tanner and Todd. Both of them went above and beyond in helping this novice golfer in selection, pricing and service. Their knowledge was light-years beyond mine and in my initial encounter, Tanner helped me pick out what have turned out to be the 100% correct club set for my skill level. Recently, Todd gave me a great deal of help on a rainy (!) morning in finding a used set of irons for my son in another state. He shipped the set out, regripped them and all at a fair price. I've bought some used clubs here, have had clubs regripped and have bought balls, tees, gloves and miscellaneous clothing items. Prices were good and the experience was pleasant. My wife brought her Ping 6 hybrid for repair. - The head had separated fr the shaft. The person at check out took the club, came back in less than 3 minutes and said it was fixed. Asked if he glued it. He said he had. Handled the club carefully to make sure adhesive worked. Used it 2 days later and it separated in the same place. Not sure adhesive was used as it didn't appear so. Frustrating to again have to have it fixed. The set of clubs was purchased at Van's. Unable to agree that they take care of their customers or as their ads says that they are #1 in repairs. read more

Since the west valley doesn't offer more choices, I really can't complain much. With the small amount of space they have, they sure have a lot of inventory! The workers are really nice, and always checking to see if you need any help. I wanted to try out a certain iron, no problem at all. I grabbed an 8-iron and went to there hitting area, and took a few swings. One thing I really liked about this location is the employees really took the time to talk with you, made you feel welcomed! Because of that, when I am ready for a new set of irons, they will be getting my business. Funny when I started this review I gave them a 3-star rating, but by the time I finished it. I raised it to a 4-star rating! Looks like I talked my self into giving them a better review. Even though I am a big fan of Golfsmiths, this place isn't to bad at all. read more

First off - the staff are very friendly working at this location. Good variety of golf gear but not a great variety. The clothing section is minimal. They do have a club fitting range that is digital. They also have a club building and repair shop. For the most part, it is a one stop shop. read more

This store is mandating people wear masks even though the CDC "recommends" you wear a mask if you can't social distance. Since there are Not a lot of people shopping in the store, social distancing was not an issue for me. The Manager was very rude and even though I have a letter from my Dr exempting me from wearing a mask he told me I could not spend money in his store and that I had to leave. It's nice to know they are doing so well financially during this COVID chaos!! read more

If you don't like the club you bought, you can bring it back and get full credit for the next one, twice if need be. They never shirk on this and there is no better way to find out if you like your clubs than hitting them while you play. Great staff. They went to bat for me with a manufacturer of an expensive laser. The easy answer was to tell me I'm out of luck since it was several years out of warranty. But they sent it back to manufacturer and when they couldn't get it fixed they persuaded manufacturer gave me a new unit. Awesome customer service! read more

This staff was great, went in for a driver and was asked to demo several driver . Was taken to the driving stall and found out I was using the wrong stiffness on my clubs. After finding the right shaft I started hitting my shots better. This is a true "customer service" business I will continue to do business with them and tell my friends about them. read more
